Had an incredible meal at Da Pino--simple, authentic, and full of flavor. The Carbonara pasta was rich and perfectly balanced, with that creamy texture and savory pancetta bite that hits just right. You could tell it was made with care and tradition. Ended the night with their Tiramisu, and it did not disappoint--light, airy, with just the right hint of espresso and cocoa. Avoid this place like the plague. It is apparently a chain restaurant and the waitress couldn't be more rude. I asked to make half and half pizza, and he was extremely annoyed that I didn't understand that his (Treviso) location didn't do half-half, because half-half is not offered in standard round pizza, but only some type of long pizza. The beautiful tables with cloth can fool the unaware tourist. I surely will never set my food in this place and regret doing it. Yup! Prepare you have your mind blown of your an American tourist. The pasta is excellent and affordable, the pizza is spot on Italian, and is a great place to hang out. If you are in Treviso this place is top of the top. First off the bruschetta was to die for!! Then I had 4 cheese spaghetti with salmon. Amazing. I of course finished with a big piece of Tiramisu which this region is known for. Definitely a favorite spot and I will be a regular! read more

This is a tourist trap. Mediocre pizza, no flavor, and they lied what was on the pizza. I ordered pepperoni and not a speck. Worst part is that the restaurant charges a 5€ cover charge! Not gratuity, but just for the privilege of eating in the restaurant. Then they told me all restaurants in Italy charge this, which is not true. Save your money and go next door. DA Pino di Giordano Giuseppe offers a great selection of food. It is located on a square, and the night we were there there was a ballet performance that gave us free entertainment with our meal! The food is delicious and very well priced and i would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Treviso area! read more

Right on the main square, the outdoor tables are a nice spot from which to watch the evening buzz, and it's clearly popular... come dinner-time the many tables fill up in the blink of an eye! I was here with some colleagues for diner. The restaurant is furnished in a nice style. The personal is very friendly and helpful. I ordered a red wine and a pizza salamino picante. Da Pinos is: 1) Delicious 2) Open all the freaking time 3) Easy - anyone can find something they like...even vegetarians, which can be a challenge. Groups are easy here. They have menus in English and Italian. The locals all eat here and recommend it. They even have take out. Outside seating makes this place a solid 4. I've taken the most picky people here and children, and all had a great time. When I've been with my bf it wasn't exactly romantic, but it certainly was a nice evening. Wow. Da Pino is the real deal as far as pizza goes, some of the best I've ever tasted. Cooked in a proper pizza oven, decent size and pretty reasonable too. I opted for the Contadina (egg, mushrooms, ham and sausage: you wouldn't think it would work, but it totally does) whereas my friend had the Margerita. Bit of a wait time is the only draw back, the atmosphere is friendly, there's a seamless intermingling of locals and tourists and it is in an area of Treviso that is so idyllic, really enjoyed the food and the service and I would recommend to anyone coming to Treviso or nearby. read more

Very popular with the locals. On Fridays and Saturdays people queue for more than half an hour to get a table. Central location on the main square. But.. I think it is more because it is not very expensive that people go here. The restaurant is a little bit like a fast food place. Waiters are mostly students, when they bring the food they just look in a rush and annoyed if you don't reply immediately when they shout: Pizza Romana! They don't even make a sentence like: Who has ordered the pizza Romana? We ordered a bottle of water with the food. Got a bottle and two glasses. We were 6 on the table.. 5 of us ordered pizza, one a salad. The salad was served 15 minutes before the pizzas. We were never asked how the food was, if we needed anything else, actually not a single word more than the minimum was said. Then the quality.. I have the strong suspicion that some of the ingredients come from a can, and are not fresh. Also, how can a salad be served 90 seconds after it is ordered.. when it has been prepared before.. All food tasted average. Good, because it's in Italy, but not as good as pizzerias in the surrounding. read more
