There's usually a line, but it's only ever long on game days and special sales events. The food is quite good, and there's plenty of shelf-like tables around the primary parking lot to make grabbing a space not too difficult on a "regular" night. The only real issue is that it's gotten quite expensive (like pretty much all fast food joints since 2020. For the value hunter, it's best to check the company's social media feeds to find the days they offer 2-for-1 specials and whatnot. Updating my review from 4 to 1. Service completely fell off…read more There were only about 3 people ahead of me, and even they were getting frustrated with the cashier. Orders were getting mixed up, people had to repeat themselves multiple times, and she kept telling customers to "wait" before even letting them speak. One situation stood out--there was a customer trying to order in Spanish, and the cashier couldn't understand him. Meanwhile, other staff behind the counter were speaking Spanish to each other but didn't step in to help. Another customer who was waiting for their food ended up translating just so the order could go through. That shouldn't happen. When it was my turn, I tried to be patient. I downloaded the Tommy's app since there was a sign posted right at the register and asked if she needed my barcode--she seemed confused. I ordered a triple cheeseburger, and she repeated something completely different back to me. I had to slowly repeat myself several times and was still told to "wait" again. Maybe she was new or overwhelmed, but with that many staff behind the counter, someone should have stepped in to help. The lack of coordination made the whole experience frustrating. Food is what you expect, but the service alone made this a bad experience.

They got a makeover complete with a mural that features a homage to the Dodgers! I came in on opening day of the 2026 season where first 100 people received their 'Blue Wave Shakes'. There were additional people from habit there for the festivities and everybody was very friendly and the service was great from ordering to keeping the place clean as people kept on coming through. When I got there, there was a bit of a line as expected, but the line moved pretty efficiently. When it was my turn to order, I got the double char, fries, and of course, the blue wave shake. I thought everything was delicious. I like their burgers because it's a little thicker and it has that grill char flavor to it. There were other giveaways and festivities going on, but I couldn't stay too long. I had a lot of fun and it got me excited to kick off the new baseball season. And above all else, it was a great meal. I remember getting burgers from the original location when I was on a road trip with a few high school friends checking out the school for the first time as well. So eating at this chain always gives me a little bit of nostalgia. Overall, great option to eat when you're in the area or before or after Dodger games. You could also bring in the food into Dodger Stadium.

However, after an…read moreunpleasant experience at this particular McDonald's location today, I feel compelled to use both of those terms. Typically, at large corporate chains, if a drive-thru employee has trouble understanding a customer's order--whether due to a faulty speaker or simply not hearing the request--they will apologize and ask the customer to pull forward to place their order in person. Furthermore, they do not get angry at the customer--they might show some signs of annoyance, perhaps, but never outright anger. Yet, the manager at this specific store--a man named Carlos--lost his temper the moment he saw me, snapping that he couldn't understand a word I was saying. He acted as if to ask, "If you can't speak English, why did you even come here?" To this day, I still cannot fathom why he was unable to understand the simple request for "4 apple pies." If it were just the young part-time staff, I wouldn't make a fuss; what's the point of getting annoyed at kids who are practically the age of your own children? They're just out there working to earn some pocket money, so there's really no need to get angry at them. However, when the person responsible for the overall management and operation of the store--the manager--works like that, it sets a poor example, and naturally, the other employees don't treat customers very well either. Spend my own hard-earned money just to place an order here? I definitely do not recommend this place.

Line can get long but it moves fast. Prices are fair for LA and portions are good. You're basically standing and eating on the curb, but that's part of the taco truck experience.
