I signed up for a synchrony credit card through fleet farm because of a promotion they were doing. First off, they did not make it known that this CC was only good in fleet farm stores. But prior to finding that out I enrolled in auto payments, and received email confirmation that I was enrolled in autopay. When the first bill came due they did not autopay it and then peppered me with late fees and interest. I signed in and manually made a payment from my bank account(the bank account was attached to my account already from the autopay enrollment), and then the next month I received another interest bill, despite my bills being paid and account closed. I sat on hold for 40 minutes just to talk to someone that barely speaks English of course, and asked them why I keep getting bills and they said it's because the interest doesn't apply until the following bill...ok, understandable I guess. But I also questioned them on why my autopay didn't go through and they said my bank account info was entered wrong. Now remember, I manually made the payment using that same bank account that's attached to my card, so I obviously did not enter it wrong. Fleet farm should be ashamed to partner with a credit card company like Synchrony. Synchrony bank's business moto is clearly to scam people. that's not just my opinion, Better business bureau reviews confirm that, and has a 1 star average. Unfortunately I was not wise enough to check BBB beforehand.

The staffed registers are invariable staffed by persons with little to no people skills. Consequently, the staff are rude and demanding. For example, when purchasing alcohol or ammunition they require identification to be shown. Never do the staff ask for the I.D.; they demand it. It's a simple fix. The staff should ask politely, "May I see your ID, please?" And, voila!, problem fixed. Some of the staff in the yard are kind, but one fellow was throwing - yes, throwing - forty pound bags of salt into the back of my vehicle. In so doing, he damaged the items I paid for. The store is large, and generally well stocked. The parking lot is a pock-marked, rutted nightmare, and the cart return/cart corral is poorly designed. I have previously walked into this store, with the intent to purchase items, but, upon seeing the disastrously long checkout lines, I have left without making a purchase. I want to like this store. I want this to be my local store now that Shopko is gone, but the staff here is making it very difficult. Maybe the fix lies in firing the whole of the management team and starting anew.
