The staff at this local are terrible! For example, there is always a ridiculous line of people waiting to checkout while only two registers are staffed. The staffed registers are invariable staffed by persons with little to no people skills. Consequently, the staff are rude and demanding. For example, when purchasing alcohol or ammunition they require identification to be shown. Never do the staff ask for the I.D.; they demand it. It's a simple fix. The staff should ask politely, "May I see your ID, please?" And, voila!, problem fixed. Some of the staff in the yard are kind, but one fellow was throwing - yes, throwing - forty pound bags of salt into the back of my vehicle. In so doing, he damaged the items I paid for. The store is large, and generally well stocked. The parking lot is a pock-marked, rutted nightmare, and the cart return/cart corral is poorly designed. I have previously walked into this store, with the intent to purchase items, but, upon seeing the disastrously long checkout lines, I have left without making a purchase. I want to like this store. I want this to be my local store now that Shopko is gone, but the staff here is making it very difficult. Maybe the fix lies in firing the whole of the management team and starting anew. read more

Huge. Outdoor stuff, farm stuff, house stuff. I was looking for snacks, because they have had unusual candy before. No luck there. Didn't need anything else but wandered a bit. We have chickens, so if it were closer we would be here sometimes. Worth checking out. read more

I could seriously wander around in here for hours, even though there is no way I would personally have a use for 90% of the merchandise. I just find it fascinating that there is a store that sells all these things. The workers are nice and really know the store so if you want something, just ask a worker. I just dread going to this store. They never want to help you or check you out. After they got new owners the selection sure isn't what it was and they always have low stock or nothing left in stock. Today I went to check out and they had the typical 20 people in line and only 2 registers open. So I go to the self checkout and scan the first time and it stops and says assistance needed. To which I stood there for several minutes and was ignored by the old guy who was paying attention to everyone else but me. Went to the service desk and checked out and they were like well it's hard to watch them. No, no it's not. I've done it and it's not that hard. If it wasn't for someone else needing what I was buying I would have left it all there and walked out. The time before this the green house told me I had to go inside despite having 25 minutes of time left so I walked out with nothing. I'm done with this store. read more

They have much more than farm stuff here. There is an extensive section for pet food and pet supplies. Several aisles have jeans in both the men's and women's sections. The clothing department has a wide variety of work and casual wear as well as shoes and boots. Tis the season so they just opened the toyland. It's like a you store inside the store. There is an automotive center where you can get your vehicle serviced. They have wide selection of tires and accessories for your vehicle. There is a limited selection of food items and snacks, and yes they have farm stuff. read more

This is not meant for the staff of the store, but for the severely lacking service from the corporate customer service department. I ordered a cabinet in late Oct, online. I was never contacted one way or the other if the order went through, or if I was charged for the item. I ended up having to go to a store to order them. I was called 2 weeks later to pick them up. Picked them up the next day, thought nothing more about it. I get my credit card statement in the mail, and see the charge for the item I tried to order, nearly a month before. I spent the next SIX WEEKS trying to get someone to help me get a refund. I emailed, I Tweeted, and sent multiple DMs on FB messenger. The person (people) on FB told me they sent my info to corporate three times. No-one called me. I finally had to get the BBB involved last Friday, 1.7.22. I was finally contacted by FF customer service, and the refund is being processed to my credit card. No apologies. No offer of a gift card. Nothing. They gave zero shits about me or my money until I contacted the BBB. Then, they got their asses in gear. It seemed as though they thought I was lying. They apparently had a video of someone putting that same cabinet in their car, and asked me what car I have. After I told the woman on the phone the make and model of my car, things settled down a bit and she told me she'd process my refund ASAP. All in all, it took 8 weeks to settle this. They owed me $105.49. Do not order online from them. Their site is garbage, and doesn't communicate electronically with their system to know what's available in-store. Their customer service at the corporate level is garbage. Everyone I talked to in the store the day I picked up the cabinets was friendly and helpful. read more

I generally like shopping at Fleet Farm, and have for over 30 years, but went in yesterday (May 8, 2020) and was very dismayed regarding the lack of COVID-19 masks! It is critical to flatten the curve of COVID that we ALL, customers and employees, wear masks in public. Wearing masks has NOTHING to do with the Constitution and EVERYTHING to do with personal safety. Please, Fleet Farm, mandate masks or I will have to shop elsewhere. read more

This review is not reflective of this particular store, but rather the Corporate Office. Placed an order for 4 items on 11/25/2020 - the Black Friday Sale. Since none of the items were available locally, I ordered them to be shipped. On 11/27/2020, I received notification that one of my items was shipped that day. On 12/1/2020 at 9:38AM, I received notification that the 2nd of my 4 items had shipped. On 12/1/2020 at 9:45AM, I received notification that the 3rd of my 4 items had shipped. On 12/1/2020 at 2:25PM, I received notification that my 4th item had been cancelled because they were unable to verify the form of payment provided for my order - MW******. I then called their Customer Service number and talked to a gal by the name of Rebecca. Rebecca was not very understanding at all and told me that my credit card company declined the charge when they attempted to charge the 4th item on the order. I told her that I didn't understand why that would be since there were others that went through earlier in the day. She said there was nothing she could do to assist me. I then asked to speak to her supervisor. Charlie, her supervisor, was even less understanding than she was. He proceeded to explain to me their process and how they have different warehouses that they ship out of and they didn't actually charge me for my items at the time I purchased them, but instead they just do a pre-authorize when the order is placed and then bill when the items actually ship. I explained to him that maybe one of the reasons my order was declined is because there were 3 other charges to Fleet Farm that day, including one that was for the exact same amount as the one that was declined. I told him that while I was on hold, I checked and they still had that boot in stock, and actually now had it in stock at my local store. He told me that I can then go buy it at my local store. I told him that I could, but wouldn't get it at the price I ordered it for. He told me that I was right but that there was nothing he could do to help me. I then explained to him how much money I spend with Fleet Farm and that Runnings, TSC, Farm & Fleet all have much better customer service than Fleet Farm. I also explained to him that I have been in customer service for over 35 years and this must be how customer service is with big companies like Fleet Farm who only are about numbers and the bottom line. He said he would check and see if there is anything he could do and call me back tomorrow. Tomorrow has come and gone and I still have not receive a call from Charlie as was told I would. After talking to Charlie I decided to call Citibank to see why they denied the charge. After talking to Citibank, I was told that there was no denials on my account for that merchant, and that I had no denied or rejected charges on my card in the last 30 days. The Citibank guy I talked to said that it was more than like an issue on the merchant (Fleet Farm) side since they did not even receive the transaction. Fleet Farm says they are "Committed to honesty, integrity, and value since 1955". I think they need to change that to Committed to bait & switch, excuses, and bottom line since 1955. Their customer service is some of the worst I have experienced. I would suggest Runnings, TSC, Farl & Fleet, or most any place other than Fleet Farm. read more

Ordered a slip and slide for my kids online. My girlfriend went to pick it up and was told it wasn't there. So I called and then they confirmed it was, so I had to drive back and get it. Get to order pick up garage #3 and wait for 20 min, just to be told that I need to go to door #4 because they have it. I have been standing here for an additional 30 min now while workers just ignore me. All this is happening while I have two 4 year old kids in the car. Place is ridiculously horrible, never go here, go to the west side location! read more

They put a new bearing and ball joints on my Chevrolet S10. They tucked all my hoses for the transmission under the truck. It ended up plugging and cracking the lines. It cost me $400 to fix by a transmission specialist. There was no reason for them to even touch the hoses. The guy said that he couldn't imagine why any of his guys would do such a thing. They took no responsibility for the damage they caused. I will never return there. The manager Mike had me make a special trip to the Fleet Farm Automotive and wasted my time. I believe nothing was done because I am a middle aged female. Even calling there to make an appointment, they are rude, and that's if they even answer the phone. I bought a bottle jack for my car and figured it would fit under my car since there is a picture of a typical car being jacked up on the package. When I was going to use the jack I found out it doesn't fit so I went to try to return it and they said the item was used and could not refund my money. The box and jack were still in the condition I bought them in though. If they can sell it to me in that condition they should be able to take it back in the same condition. This was the THIRD time that Fleet Farm East, in Green Bay has published a scam ad in the newspaper. My husband is Irate, to say the least. He went into the store the very next day after a newspaper ad was published, only to find that they were "SOLD OUT" ? Obviously they don't prepare adequately for their "sales"...... One time could be understandable....but all THREE times? How could they possibly run out of items that they advertised , by the very next morning after the ad was made public? What do they do, stock the shelves with only five of the items , so people come into the store? That doesn't seem like a very good business practice. In fact, it seems more like a scam , to bring people in. That is just absolutely NOT fair play to the customers. Today, when we went into the store to purchase a coupon item ( Powerade, limit 2 ) we were told by the woman who was working in the aisle , that they were "out of" them, but they were giving "rain checks" for them. We waited in line to get to the service desk, at which time we were advised that there were no rain checks for them. Again, we were disappointed in the practices there. We have shopped at Fleet Farm for many years and never had as many of these problems before. If these practices continue, not only will we not shop there, but we will share our bad luck (with Fleet Farm....) with our many country farm folks, who also use Fleet Farm's services. As good patron's of this store in the past , we feel that it's only right that we and all their other customers , not be scammed by them. read more
