The workers in here are super helpful. This is the best place to get your prescription for as low as possible! They tend to take around 20 minutes to fill your prescription so you might wanna call ahead of time! Great if you were trying to save some money while also getting yourself out of pain/ getting yourself your medicine They have a wide selection of different types of medicines. I come here for dental prescriptions, hospital, prescriptions, and mental health prescriptions. They have it all they also have over-the-counter medicines and food candy and even a little refrigerator filled with drinks you can buy just in case you need to take your medicine right there! If I had it my way, they wouldn't even get that. I called a day ahead of time to have my prescription delivered in the morning. It's after 1:05 pm and I have yet to receive my prescription. The nicest people ever I would not say I called today about getting my medicine cause I'm out I need this medicine they sat there in would not let me get one word in over the phone when I tried to explain my side I really do not know the rules I'm not a pharmacist but they was really rude to me and I have mental issues I don't see why they would treat someone who is mentally disabled like that it's not even about the medicine toe anymore it's about how rude everyone I spoke to was to me today. I called to the store to see if they had supplies for my CPAP machine. I later went to the store purchase the supplies. I brought my supplies in to make sure they were matched. I was told that the water tank they had should work for my machine although I brought mine in and it was a different shape and size. I needed to purchase the supplies so I could use my machine. Well, the water tank did not work and I can't return it. I called back to the store and told them that I was advised wrong to purchase the water tank and that it should work on my machine and they were not interested in listening nor was apologetic. read more

My experiences with Gurley's thus far have made me really miss & appreciate my old Pharmacy where we used to live. Let me preface this review by saying I'm aware that I'm writing this review during an extremely hard time for businesses (covid-19 outbreak) however I have been using Gurley's as a Pharmacy for almost a year now so my review isn't based solely on recent experiences but rather a long history of bad experiences. I have had so many experiences where I speak to someone about a prescription the day previous (usually confirming they have it in their system, asking them to fill it and deliver it the next day) only to not receive my prescription the next day. So you call, wait on hold (usually for quite awhile), hopefully you reach someone competent, and you ask where is my prescription? Usually only to be told either: A. It was never filled and they have no record of our conversation. B. It was filled but they failed to schedule it for delivery (& even though there is still time for them to deliver it they won't even though they were the ones who made the mistake). C. It wasn't filled and they are out of stock so now they can't fill it for a few days. D. They filled only some of the perscriptions accidentally and scheduled it as pickup. Option B is what happened to me today and what happens to me 75% of the time. I've gotten in the habit of having my husband listen to me do the fill & delivery request so I know I'm not crazy when they try to act like I never had the conversation. It's such horrible customer service and such incompetence! I've also dragged myself down to pickup said prescriptions that didn't get delivered several times, picked up what they promise is everything only to get home to find out things are missing which results in me having to call, be placed on hold, track things down and go back AGAIN! I've gotten in the habit of trying to remember to open the bag there so I can forego the extra trip back. This also happened today. I also get different information from different employees. They never seem to be able to get their stories straight. I could go on and on but the bottom line is I really wanted to like this pharmacy. It's relatively close to me, delivers perscriptions (when they are professional enough to remember to schedule it which isn't often), and isn't a big chain. I've kept giving them chance after chance. I loved the delivery service from my last pharmacy and they never had these issues. They need to seriously reevaluate their hiring standards, do some major employee training, and learn the meaning of customer service and follow-thru. They have no sense of respect or customer service. Here is why. I came in today and there were at least 12 workers in there, 2 people in the area with the robot and the others behind the main counter. My son and I walked in and stood at the drop off window for quite a few minutes with no one acknowledging my presence. They never spoke or anything. One guy was eating pizza at the island behind the counter, about 3 people were at the front counter area, and the rest closer to the back possibly filling prescriptions. Multiple people looked at me and walked past the drop off area and front counter. I then got a drink and went to the register closest to the area where the robot looks to be packaging pills. Shortly after someone came to the drop off window and said I can help who is next, but I was at the register already and someone stepped up to the drop off window. Still no one spoke or acknowledged me. I stood there a few more minutes and then put the soda back and told my son that I would buy him one elsewhere. So I brought him one from the poke restaurant next door. A place that can't even say hello we will assist you in a moment, or acknowledge clientele does not need my money. I am very satisfied with this pharmacy the employees are always willing to help you if you have a question about anything. The only thing that I would like is if they were open until 8pm. Because sometimes I just can't get there before 5.30pm. Other than that. It is a great place to get your medication and some other things. Keep up the great work. Thanks for your services. I switched to this pharmacy because I wanted to support local businesses. After my doctor sent over a prescription, this was my experience. I called, and was on hold over 10 minutes. Then, when I got through to a very apathetic=sounding employee, he told me they were out of my (very common) prescription. After I complained, they all of a sudden were able to find it. They said my cost was $20. I went to pick it up that afternoon, and then they said the cost was $1, but I wish they had gotten it right in the first place. Then, when I got home, I discovered they had left off half the prescription. I called this morning and asked to speak to management. I was transferred, and as I started explaining my story to the pharmacist - Elizabeth - she interrupted me, asking my name. I gave it, and went on, and then she interrupted me again, asking my date of birth. I said to her, can you just let me finish my story? I'll give you all this information at the end. She hung up on me. Suffice it to say that Gurley's will NOT be my pharmacy in the future. read more

I have been receiving my prescriptions and my childrens' at Gurley's Pharmacy for years now. When Mr Gurley sold his pharmacy to Vip, I was happy that he did because I had known him for a long time.
