They don't call me, I have to call them. Every month... and when I call it goes to a call center and they say it looks fine on there end and should be ready. I started calling through the provider line. I literally ended up super sick because of it this last time so I pulled all my scripts from them and sent to Walmart in Mebane. Miraculously it was filled there in a couple hours and the pharmacist was amazing! If it was a one time issue ok they're bad... but it's every month. Thats why they suggested automatic refill. That should trigger their system to order the stock so it's not on back order every month. It's freaking insulin, not some rare drug. And they're a pharmacy...come on. My daughter is also type 1 diabetic so I will be pulling hers as well.

When I called to address the issue, the pharmacist was nonchalant and did not treat the situation with the seriousness it deserves. Patients should be able to trust that their medications are filled accurately and safely every time. If there is a lack of attention to detail or a dismissive attitude toward patient safety, this is not the right field to be in. The level of unprofessionalism was unacceptable, and it felt as though situations like this may not be uncommon.

I complained about the difficulty of understanding the person at the call center, and the pharmacy manager called me "prejudiced." My question was answered--complete with calling me names! This is what we should expect when big companies buy out all the local competition. Customers have nowhere else to take their business, so the company has no incentive to serve their customers properly.
