I have been going to this pharmacy for a year. In the beginning, things were fine. I didn't go to the pharmacy often. I used the drive thru at this time. Then, suddenly the drive thru was closed for months. When you went inside, there would be lines wrapped around aisles. The staff seemed miserable. At that time I was going into the pharmacy fairly frequently. I swear every week I went in, there were brand new employees. I went to the pharmacy yesterday and the store itself was closed and sectioned completely off. Drive thru was open, but I went inside. I wanted to use my Good RX coupon and I was told I can only do it inside. I always get nervous asking if I can use my coupon, because every time I had in the past, I was met with attitude and I end up saying "nevermind". Yesterday was the first and only time I was helped with kindness and patience at this location. I am very thankful for the two ladies that helped me yesterday. I can no longer trust the 3737 Roxboro St. CVS pharmacy after their mishandling of my prescription, which could have been life-threatening for others and caused me significant discomfort. The pharmacy remained open with extremely limited hours while the store itself was closed due to construction, which made no sense. It would have been better if they had just shut down completely. I had a prescription sent here for a painful rash, but when I arrived, the store was closed with a sign saying they were shut down by the fire marshal. No guidance was provided on what to do next, and my prescriptions were still listed as "in process" online. I tried to transfer my prescriptions to another CVS but encountered endless red tape, so I had to get my doctor to send them to a different pharmacy. By the time I received my medication, it was too late to help. Unexpected events happen, but leaving prescriptions in limbo without any communication or a plan in place is unacceptable for a pharmacy. Even after they reopen, I will never return and recommend anyone in the area go to Walgreens or the independent pharmacy, Josef's, down the road instead. read more

This place is an actual hot mess. This is how it looks. Always. At least for the last several months. The beauty aisle is always the worst but in many of the other aisles, the shelves are either empty or there are misplaced items strewn about. It's very disappointing because I enjoy shopping at CVS, this location is close to where I work but I just can't go there anymore. read more

Stay away from CVS store# 4444 ROXBORO Rd and Carver: pharmacy' assistant is as Nasty as can be without reason she takes it on customers ! She got on my case for asking how many insulin pens in the bag for $700?? She refused to tell me and threatened me to ban me from the store if I continue to ask questions ( a favor to ban me!) asked yo have my RX transferred to Walgreens instead . Do the same , thus sore is dirty and employees don't act normal , May be they taste the meds they sell affecting their brain cells and make them act like bitches on heat! read more

I never had a bad experience here, but today I am truly upset. Trudy, the worker in the register had the ugliest attitude with the person in-front of me! It was a nice lady who did not speak English, so she couldn't understand what Trudy was saying. Trudy needs to fix her attitude! Nothing can justify her taking advantage of the situation to talk about the customer in a language they can't defend themselves!! I have to use CVS to get my meds each month. I call in, get switched to the pharmacy and then I sit and wait, and wait, and wait, all the time hoping upon hope that someone will answer the phone. Then I call the manager and see if he can help, and guess what, I can't get him on the phone either. Last month the same thing, but I finally got the manager and he then connected me to the pharmacy, and it rang and rang and rang. Do you get the picture? I have CVS insurance so I have to get my meds there, but this is absolutely horrible. STAY AWAY if you can. read more

This pharmacy is terrible! They cannot keep good workers, very busy so I finally decided to take my prescriptions and go somewhere else. Unbelievable! Totally unprofessional. My daughters pediatrician has sent perscriptions here on accident several times and they never cease to amaze me with their poor customer service and attitudes. I understand that pharmacies get busy and it takes awhile sometimes for prescriptions to be filled, but this place is famous for saying '10 to 15' minutes and then you sit for 45. I could have used that time and come back. Never again. read more

I've had multiple issues with this store and came to Yelp looking for a better option. Despite this being the closest option for me, I will go elsewhere from now on. I believe that the crew is poorly managed and can't handle the work. Issue 1 (Four months ago): Filled my prescription under another persons name. Likely clerical. Issue 2 (Two months ago): Had me wait one hour past promised delivery time for prescription. They did this while taking the time to walk others prescriptions through. Issue 3: (Just today) Because of issue 2, I decided to give the automated system a try and order prescription 4 hours in advance specifying a pickup within an hour and a half. When I arrived four hours after the order was placed, I was told it was picked but not labeled. Forty minutes later, still not done. Basically, there was no communication to person labeling to get prescription out. I have had other issues in the past with them and given the benefit of the doubt. Now there is no doubt. The management is incompetent. As stated elsewhere, I will not return to the store. read more

I am a visitor to the area. Yesterday morning my Dr. from NYC faxed in a prescription. Yesterday evening I came to pick it up and was told it had not been pré approved by my insurance. I said I would pay cash. They said it was not in stock and the pharmacist assured me it would be in this evening after 5 pm. I arrived at 7 pm and was given the runaround being informed that it was not here!!! I was then informed it had not been ordered by cut off time of 6:30 pm yesterday. I had been told it was ordered. Today being here at 7pm after cutoff time I am not sure how she can reassure me it will be here tomorrow. I have been to many CVS's and never had such poor service read more

Worst Pharmacy ever. I went today, March 11th around 3 o'clock in the afternoon with my grandmother. The lady was very rude to my grandmother bc she pulled into the wrong lane bc she was referring to the sign above the drive thru, not the covid sign on the ground. The prescription we were picking up was for me, so i gave her my information and she kept saying she couldn't hear me so i started yelling my info and asked her to stop speaking to me so rudely. She said she was being rude bc I yelled at her and I should have just raised my voice when she said she couldn't hear me. (I yelled bc i was in passenger side) She asked me the name of my medication and i didn't remember it so she told me repeatedly she couldn't help me bc i had "Like, 10 pages worth of prescriptions" (i've only gotten two prescriptions in the past year) even tho i was trying to describe the medicine to her and explain no one else has ever had a problem helping me. she kept cutting me off saying she couldn't help me so i left. I've used CVS exclusively for years and this experience convinced me to use Walgreens instead. read more
