Groceries are pricey here, but the breakfast special is not! Breakfast is available 7am-10am. I usually get the Breakfast Sandwich (bacon or sausage, egg, and cheese) on a bagel, croissant, or biscuit, which is only $2.49. If you add orange juice, it's only $2.99 for the combo! Quick, cheap, and delicious. Try a cinnamon roll too while you're at it!

This is a mango I just bought from HT yesterday. Pick your produce carefully

Overall their produce and selection are better than food lion. But make sure you check the expiration of the yogurt! Stuff that expired 1 week ago was still being sold on the shelves!

They have 2 locations- Raleigh and Durham. The entire store is filled with wines from all over the world. The best part? None of them are from big companies. Every single one of them are from local/ small businesses (You can see some of the business owners photos by the wines!). The owner/ founder of Wine Authorities has been working with a lot of the wineries for many years. They taste every new batch they purchase to ensure quality. Although they have many businesses they've been working with for a long time, they go to wine shows and events in Europe to discover new ones! I like my wine very sweet but there were so many choices that I was a bit overwhelmed. I asked the nice lady at the register to give me recommendations and I loved the wine she recommended. If you are a bit overwhelmed with all the choices, just ask for help. They are very informative and helpful! Aside from their amazing wine, they also have beer, cider, sake, hot sauce, honey, meats, and etc. You will find at least one thing you will love. On Saturdays, they have free wine tastings from 12-3pm! If you cannot make it there on time, you can always buy a bottle or two. They will give you glasses to drink in the back or outside if the weather is nice outside! You can also buy snacks or cheese to go with your wines. Also, if you are a little hungry, you can buy a bottle from Wine Authorities and head to Thai Cafe next door and they will let you drink there without extra charge!

If you would enjoy buying 50 and 75+ $$ bottles you can find excellent selections but if your budget is more modest and you are looking for $15-25$ selections, you can buy with confidence as well. Have been buying from them for years.. highly recommend. Love this purveyor.

Based on my single visit to this location, it seems bigger and a little bit nicer than the Harris Teeter we normally go to. It also seems better stocked. We picked up a 10-oz box of Fresh Express 50/50 Mix of spring mix and spinach ($4.99) and a 48-oz container of Harris-Teeter-cut watermelon chunks ($5.00). It rang up to $10.19 after tax and using my wife's Kroger Plus membership (VIC customer), she got double fuel points for the month. The store was clean and on a Wednesday evening around 7:30pm, most of the clientele appeared to be Duke students. Not surprising considering Duke East Campus is just two blocks away. This Harris Teeter has both a Starbucks and a pharmacy inside. This is Harris Teeter store #394 and you can find it at the Shops at Erwin Mill at the corner of Hillsborough Rd and 9th St in Old West Durham. This is a relatively busy area.

What I recommend: Avoid ordering cakes from this location…read more We ordered a sheet cake from the Harris Teeter bakery for a veterans dinner this past weekend to celebrate and honor those who served. Unfortunately, what we received was extremely disappointing. The cake was poorly decorated and looked like very little effort or care went into it. When we brought it up to the baker, she brushed us off and said we could request a refund if we wanted, but that she wouldn't do anything to fix it. The event was only two hours away, and thankfully, the amazing staff at the Whole Foods bakery stepped in and helped us get cakes for 67 people with just an hour's notice. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend this Harris Teeter location for cakes, especially if you need something that looks even halfway presentable.

NEVER use Walgreens for prescriptions -- you will be sorry. In FIVE years they never ONCE got my…read moreorder right, even though their app sent me messages again and again assuring me the entire order was ready. Not a single month went by when I did not not have to return twice, or even three times, to get all of my medications filled. I am not convinced that this is the fault of the store empoyees at all -- it is their absolutely AWFUL app that continuously gives you inaccurate infomation on your order status or simply fails to send the order through. Their app is notorious and, if this chain goes down, that app will probably be the reason why. However, instead of acknowledging the problem with the app and prescription processing, the in-store staff will simply shrug and say, "Well, we're not the app." No, you aren't: but you work for the same company and you ARE responsible for how it performs. Instead of making excuses, work from within to get headquarters to either fix the app ir pull it down entirely. I finally have given up on Walgreens and moved my prescriptions elsewhere. Save yourself a lot of frustration and find another pharmacy that has its act together.

(This only took thirty minutes…read moreand two tries, because they sent you what looks like a confirmation screen, but you have to scroll down and confirm before you actually have an appointment.) I arrived on time and, by some miracle, there was no one at the pharmacy. I stated that I had an appointment at 5:15, and was immediately called a liar by the pharmacist. I showed confirmation text and the other pharmacy worker was able, with the help of my insurance card, Medicare card, and my COVID vax card finally get me a shot. All the while, the pharmacist buzzed around like an angry bee, constantly asking her snippy questions while she and I had reached an understanding that we were going to work through this, despite the website "allowing" me this "unoffered" time slot. I filled in the paper version of the form I had filled in online "to save you time when you come in for your vaccination", and in about five minutes a nice nurse came and gave me the injection and I was done. I feel sorry for the two ladies I worked with, if what I saw was an indication of what they have to deal with on a daily basis. You shouldn't be in a helping profession if all you want to do is prove someone wrong. They both had great patience and people skills. Sadly, they are not rubbing off on their boss.
