This CVS has always been helpful! I am a former pharmacy tech and know the struggles of working retail and they have been very easy and nice to work with. The automatic refill process makes everything super easy and if there is ever an issue with getting a refill they call me to inform me to contact my provider. The store itself has also been well organized to find things and there is general staff around to help find something if I cannot. I do like the coupons you get and like I have the option to not get the very long receipt and just utilize those discounts with the app! read more

This CVS is horrible and has no customer service of value. The phone system (recently changed once again) goes thru cycles and does not allow for easy requests for prescription refills. The store phone for the pharmacy will only take messages if and when you finally get thru to them. Going to the store to pick up prescriptions is always a nightmare and more often than not, you have to wait, because they have not filled it. Also it is impossible to talk to a pharmacist unless you go there in person. Our company has an arrangement with CVS or I would NEVER USE THEM. What a shame...... read more

There is an awful woman who works in the pharmacy named "Doris" although she is probably lying about her name because she was so rude and awful I hope she gets fired soon I just asked for my prescription that was just sent from Urgent Care and she literally just walked away and said only antibiotics! What an idiot she should NOT BE IN ANY MEDICAL OR PEOPLE FIELD. I went to the Urgent Care because it was an emergency for an SSRI and she just ignored me, the patient. Please take disciplinary action on this excuse for a human. SSRI's are just as important and she is putting my life in danger. Please fire her immediately. read more

CVS Pharmacy this location has terrible service. pharmacist manager and team don't know how to treat customer. I wanted to transfer from Walgreen to CVS due to insurance change and I stopped by they wrote down everything and said we will call Walgreen and transfer and we will call you. I waited 2 weeks and called again so after long loop on phone finally girl answered who originally took my info and said we can't get thru Walgreen so can't do it. I asked why no one call me i need my medication so answer was oh it's your medication so you should be calling us and I said then don't tell me that we will call you! I asked for manager and he was very rude and worse experience to talking to him. this is CVS's customer service at this century!! I had great experience with Walgreen. I will be calling head quatre of CVS. read more

Dr. called in my prescription but when I come to pick it up I was told that they didn't have it in stock that they would get it for me and have it the following day. I come to pick it up the following day and was first told that they didn't have it. I said I was here yesterday to get it and was told you would have it for me the following day and I got a text saying it was ready. After looking around they found it and that's when they told me to give them 15 minutes. I got the text telling me that my prescription was ready for pick up so I come to get it hours after I got the text because I was at work and was going to pick it up on my way home. After sitting in the drive through for over 20 minutes I was told that it wasn't ready. I was told to give them 15 minutes. So I parked and waited 15 minutes just to get in line and wait another 15 minutes. I understand that you're busy but don't tell me that my prescription is ready if it isn't. read more

They have the worst customer service and protocols. I've been going there for 12 years but it's gotten so much worse. I don't know what has happened but they never ever have it together at the pharmacy. EVER. It's also never something they've done. It's you, the doctor, the other CVS. It's ridiculous. This place has the most incompetent, slow, frustrating pharmacy staff I've met. If this wasn't the closest place to my house I'd never come here. If they tell you that they'll page you when your order is complete they will not. You have to just keep harassing them or you could sit there for hours waiting for medicine that's ready. Do not use the pharmacy at the CVS at 5311 N Roxboro Rd. They are slow and can not get the prescription out for the patients that need them. Was prescribed a antibiotics for a severe case of diverticulitis the prescription was called in at 5:00 pm. They did not get it ready before they closed. When I called at 8:30 pm before they closed I was on hold for 20 min. When I did reach someone at the front desk. She said the pharmacy was now closed and hung up on me. I will be pulling all my prescription away from this and all CVS which I have been a customer for over 15 years. Great job losers read more

Everytime I get a prescription renewed it is Hosed up--they lose it and I have to get a prescription from my Dr and take it to them or call them and call the doctor to send another. This place and many CVS Pharmacies are a total mess. I have to go to CVS due to medco or express scripts requirement. read more

Great difficulty obtaining RX after surgery. Promised wait of 15 minutes was greater than 1 1/4 hours. Even worse when I tried to pick up a new RX a week later that had been faxed in the day before. I was told it had not been filled, nor had they called me. I insisted they contact my Surgeon as I could not go through the weekend without pain medication. She (Pharmacist) said the insurance company would not authorize the RX and they (CVS) would look into it Monday. I offered to pay without insurance and was told no. After they contacted my Surgeon, the RX was ready in an hour. Why did the Surgeon who wrote the RX have to be bothered on a weekend? Why did CVS not contact me the day there was an issue. I will never use CVS again. read more

If you are military and have Tricare as insurance you do not want to use this store. I was told after being charged double and paying for medication that they no longer take Tricare. I did not find out until my spouse went to pay for medication and was told they no longer accept Tricare. She looked at the bill and there was some other company listed on there to give a discount for the medication. She told them she did not want the medication and would go somewhere else. I was charged $13.76 at CVS at 5311 Roxboro Rd for the same medication I paid $6:10 at Walgreens who do take Tricare. I went in and spoke with the pharmacist and she told me it was Tricare's responsibility to notify me. I ask if they ask the customer if they had insurance and she told me they do if the bill is high like $500. I told her it was not right to just not tell the customer and just use some type of internal discount with out giving the customer the choice to go somewhere else. They know by looking in the computer whether the person has insurance or not and could clearly see I had Tricare on file since back in 2005. They chose not to tell me and just charge me their version of a discount verses using honesty so that I could go somewhere that would take Tricare. The people in the pharmacy department should be honest with customers. They put false information in the computer of some generic insurance to change the price for charging people then act like they were doing us a favor with the discount. When in turn their discount is double what I had to pay for the refill at another pharmacy. I called in the complaint to the CVS customer service department 1-800-746-7287. read more

I've been using this CVS since 2003 and for the most part been pretty good. The only problems I've had was a period when I think one of the pharmacy staff was shorting my meds. I complained after it happened a few times and it's never happened since. They have filled a ton of my family prescriptions with no other problems. The store managers there are super friendly but their part timers can sometimes be slow and impatient - but that is true anywhere lately. read more

Probably the worst pharmacy I have ever used. The pharmacy techs are rude and super slow. After rudely asking if I had any insurance, they then said they had my insurance information stored in the computer and I didn't need to show my card. Then, when I went to pick up the prescription, after waiting a good 25 minutes for someone to help me, they asked for my insurance card as if they had no idea what they said before. Then, they said it wasn't covered by insurance. Also, I asked if they could tell me the price of the medicine beforehand so I knew how much it was compared to Walmart, and they said they couldn't tell me until it was filled. When they told me it was going to be $38, compared to $28 at Walmart, I said I didn't want it, and they were really rude then. I explained that that was why I has asked the price beforehand, so they wouldn't have to go through the trouble of filling it. I have had other pharmacies be able to tell me the price of the medicine, so I don't know why they couldn't. Another woman in line said, "this is the last time I ever use this pharmacy", and I ditto those remarks. What ever happened to customer service? read more
