Our server was absent, she showed up and got our drinks then disappeared? It was another ten minutes or better before returning. She seemed to be preoccupied, one of the other servers actually helped us with a couple things because ours was nowhere to be found. Fried green tomatoes to start. They were good, well prepared and nicely seasoned. Red snapper grilled with a loaded baked potato, pinto beans, and hush puppies for my dinner. It was okay, the fish was overcooked a little. The spud was baked hours well ahead of service and was hard in spots. The pintos and puppies were okay and pretty decent flavor wise. It was an okay meal, not great not bad. Okay. Coconut shrimp, as an add to our meal, we ordered half a dozen. They were also okay. 3 Stars it served its purpose 01280

Everything we were served was dripping in grease. It's so dark, you can't see the dirt. When you go to the bathroom, there's a sign that says outhouse, you don't go through those doors, you turn at the sign. There was a hole in the floor that I think was supposed to be covered. But wasn't. There's a changing table that looks like it's never been cleaned and honestly I wouldn't put my baby on. The bathroom is dirty, it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. I have no idea how people eat in the place. I will never go back. I paid $50 for 2 meals, an appetizer and 2 teas, FOR LUNCH.

The cook will come check on you to make sure everything was spot on. The salad bar has a bunch of scratch made items like carrot salad, pea salad, fresh pickles. It's served warm, with vanilla cake doughnut pieces with meringue on top..... it's a whole experience in itself. The homemade honey bun cake tastes like what you wish your packaged honey buns tasted like. On Saturdays they serve a coconut sour cream cake that sells out instantly so you either have to call in to reserve a slice like I did or get there right at 3:30. Everything in this is place is clean, very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and feels like a Sunday after church or date night place for how good the service is. I pass by this place occasionally and have always wondered what was going on in there. Was hungry…read moreand the right place and the right time to stop in and give them a try today. It went great. To start, the place is huge. Tons of seating including lots of outdoor tables overlooking some water, and a big open dining room with a full bar indoors. About that, the whole place is very open-air. It's got beach vibes and with the way it's set up, even if you're inside, you're gonna get some warm summer air, so be ready for that. Was met at the host stand by happy and lively people who took me straight to a table and someone came along immediately to take my order. So the service was top notch. It took me a minute to decide what to order because the menu has a little bit of everything. Oysters, snow cones, burgers, wings, various types of seafood, pizza, and a full coffee menu with lattes etc. So no matter what you're looking for they've got it. I kept it simple and got a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The fries were crisp, the burger was fresh and had a homemade vibe to it that kind of pushed it over the edge. Really good. Pretty sure I kind of inhaled it in record time. Would order again. Long story short this place kind of has it all. A broad menu, a laid back vibe, seating with a view, solid execution from the kitchen, and a super friendly staff. Don't think twice, if you're in the area, this is the spot. 5 stars.

A bar food menu, we started off with the chips and salsa. The chips were out of a bag and the salsa from a jar. It was okay but nothing special. Basically what you would do at home. I opted for their Pontoon Nachos, a huge serving of the same chips, with a little chili beans, some queso, a little diced tomato and jalepenos with sour cream and red salsa on the side. Again, they were okay nothing great, I make better at home. Had a cold Stella in the bottle with my snack. It was good. Husband ordered the special- ribs with sides of baked beans, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and banana pudding. I had the hamburger steak loaded baked potato. Both were delicious. I then had the chocolate lava cake and it was truly amazing. The decor is clean and minimalistic which gives modern air but also comforting. Definitely a mix of country charm and city chic.

My favorite thing i love to do is praise those with outstanding cheese steaks this place is 8.9 out of 10. From my point of view there is nothing close in this area for good cheese steaks. The spice was almost perfect, just a bit too much salt, defiantly not a deal breaker. The steak was tender and perfectly prepared. The onions and peppers are well cook just the right firmness.
