Just had my brakes flushed at Gunninks and they were great. Den in service is professional, knowledgeable, and you can tell, loves Harleys. They were able to get me in on short notice, which worked out great. I was able to sit out at their outdoor seating area, which was great because some of their staff comes out and likes to chat it up. Also other fellow motorcycle riders hang out there and we all talked shop. My opinion this is one of the coolest Harley dealers around northern Cali. read more

My female friend and I pulled up to the Ukiah dealership, excited to see all of the bikes on offer! What we immediately saw were several rotund gentlemen in Harley-Davidson gear loitering near the entrance and at nearby picnic tables. We had planned on shopping for my friend's first bike to celebrate after a tough divorce, unfortunately, she felt intimidated by the quantity of unfriendly-looking faces congregated outside the store. We discussed our options, looked online, and made the decision to head to another dealership in Santa Rosa. read more

I usually visit there in person and have decent service this time I called for a check valve for my Electra Glide the guy told me it was Obsolete and on back order he'd call me back in an hour or so for alternative part! it's been about a week now I won't go to gunninks ever again!!! read more

Every time we have been there the people were friendly and nice. Always have everything I need

From my first contact june of 25 to currently July of 26 this harley dealership has made me feel welcomed and like family. Some staff has recently changed but they still are very helpful and friendly. If your in the market to get a harley. I recommend them. If you need parts I would recommend them. If you need your harley serviced I definitely recommend them. Also dont forget to browse the appeal and clothing section as well. read more

Still worth the run up to Ukiah for all your Harley needs. Got there early for an opening time service appointment, they were open and ready to go 20 minutes before posted hours. Service done and no list of must have urgent extra stuff! Definitely old school customer service, and quality work. 5 stars! read more

So upset. Terrible experience pretty much from the get-go. I had my bike towed in on Saturday. Spewing oil everywhere. They said they would look at it Tuesday and call me. Tuesday rolls around, nothing. I called them Wednesday morning. He said he had it up on the rack looking at it and would call me right back. Nothing. So I called again on Thursday. He was full of excuses right off the bat and had to have somebody call me back. Finally, they called me back and tell me nothing was wrong with my bike, basically. So I am ecstatic and pick it up today, Friday. On the way home it died on me twice, and the lights stopped working, and the tachometer. I would say they didn't fix anything. While I was there, he told me he had washed the bike, which was obvious because it was covered in oil when I brought it in. There was a big dusty, dirty handprint on the back of my seat. I kinda wiped it off before I took the bike. When I got home, I wiped the seat off better and there's a hole in my seat. I called and ended up talking with the manager, Laith. Terrible terrible terrible customer service. He immediately denied it and said it was impossible that they could've done that to the seat. I could go on and on about what a terrible conversation that was and what terrible Customerservice I received from there supposed manager. He has no idea how to handle customers. I literally started out nice and just wanted him to take responsibility for it but he just denied it completely. He wouldn't even consider that it was a possibility that they did the damage when I had all the evidence. Why not just admit it? So lame. The whole experience was absolutely awful. And believe it or not, I am really not one to complain. read more

Stopped by this HD for some roadside assistance.... I needed help adjusting a part installed at Sacramento Harley. I was helped quickly and professionally. Levi! Levi was fantastic. Out riding NorCal w my buddy visiting from Denmark. His rental bike started leaking front brake fluid after he had to drop the bike in a hairpin turn. He was fine (not a scratch) but the bike wasn't as lucky. It lost a sidelight and got a bit banged up with a bent brake lever and half a ton of dirt. We had just passed a tow truck and the driver - who's name we didn't get - stopped and provided cover for us on the narrow road, and helped us righting the bike - super cool guy. Anyway, we limped down to Willits and Started called around and luckily found Gunnink's in Ukiah. Who offered to look at the problem and assist as best they could. We gunned it down 101. Leif and the crew were fantastic! They fixed the leak on the spot and even cleaned up the bike from grass and dirt and had my buddy back on the road in no time. The guys were awesome and refused payment. Luckily we could offer Leif a modern day Viking "helmet" in honor of his Viking namesake: Leif Erikson (also spelled Leif Eriksson, Old Norse Leifr Eiríksson), nicknamed Leif 'the Lucky', was a Norse Viking who is best known for arguably being the first European to have set foot on North American soil along with his crew c. 1000 CE. We were the lucky ones! Thanks guys!! read more

When I originally reached out to Gunninks HD about a bike they had posted on there website, I was skeptical, (I've had a pretty bad experience buying a bike from A DIFFERENT dealership in the past) Brian reached back out to me about the bike and seemed pretty laid back, so I figured I'd make the trip up to ukiah and check the shop out there. Not only did the shop have a great inventory of different bikes, the bike I had reached out about was in great shape for a good price! While I was there I dealt with Brian, Emily and Tara and Scott. All three of which were great people to deal with, they were professional, personable and made me feel comfortable and confident through the whole process. I didn't feel like I was just another number to them, they all took time to hear me out at different points of the day, it didn't go un noticed! Now as for the bike? Where do I even start...I've had an 23 fxlrs for about 4 days now, Holy smokes game changer , by far the best bike I've ever owned, if you're thinking about picking one of these up head over to gunninks and talk to em about it. It's worth it! read more

A solid Harley-Davidson shop, family owned and operated. They're service department is top notch and the guys who worked on my bike on my most recent trip through the area were very easy to talk to and knowledgeable about my needed repair. They had me back on the road in just a couple hours. During my service, I walked through the showroom to look at and drool on the new bikes. The sales staff were all friendly and cordial and the shop has a cool small hometown feel to it, very comfortable. It's nice knowing there's a great bike shop on a route I travel often, good people and quality work. 4 Stars a solid service department. 00539 read more

The best place to buy a Harley! Amazing customer service and unmatched attention to detail. My Husband was on the market for a brand new Road Glide Ultra. We heard that Gunnink's was the place to buy. At first the distance sounded daunting but the drive was worth it!!! My Husband had a vision of what he wanted the bike to look like. Lots of customization! The General Manager, Emily Gunnink, bent over backwards to make sure the bike was everything he dreamed of. She got the bike, switched out parts, and sent photos until they got the perfect combo! She was helpful, accommodating, and had a great eye. Emily was like a personal shopper for my Husband's Harley! Even once they had settled on the right parts, Emily sent updates and was proactive about keeping in touch. When we went to pick up the completed bike the staff all did an amazing job showing us all the bells and whistles. Jim Gunnink, Leif, Nathan, and the rest of the service staff were all excited and proud of the work they had done. As they should be, because the bike turned out phenomenal! Plus, they gave us a cool T-Shirt, 1 year HOG membership, and some discount perks! We could not have asked for a better experience! Also, their retail store has a really great selection of accessories, gear, gifts, and very knowledgeable staff. read more

I moved back to the Ukiah area a year ago. I had just bought a new bike a few months prior and needed to get it serviced. I went in to Gunnink's and had the bike serviced. I was treated as though I had bought the bike from them rather than a first time customer. Since that time, I've been in several times buying parts or having the bike serviced and have been treated more like a friend than a customer. My only regret with Gunnink's is that I bought my bike prior to moving back, I would rather that they have gotten the sale. Oh well, I'm sure that when I am ready for my next bike Gunnink's will be there. It is nice to be able to deal with a dealership that has integrity, obviously it is not all about the sale at this dealership. read more

Best experience I've ever had of buying a vehicle Michael Paul Warren is the best in the business if you need a Harley go ask Him.

I had been thinking about trading in my bike for a new touring model, and had visited the dealership in the Bay Area where I had first purchased from to see what the numbers looked like. I have never gotten a welcome feel there, even when dropping $20K on my first bike, and was always keenly aware of the fact that I was only a customer, and my money was what they were most concerned with. I decided on a whim on my way home to stop at Gunnink's to see what they had in their inventory, and met the Sales Manager Dan and Jim Gunnink, the owner. The dealership is run by the Gunnink family and is a family affair, and it truly shows. I had been shopping around at two other dealerships, but I knew right away that I was much more comfortable purchasing from Gunnink's than I was anywhere else. When discussing numbers on the deal, I never felt any pressure to buy, and everything was above board. Dan made the purchase process incredibly smooth. I was able to get the exact bike that I wanted, and a great deal made even better by the financing special that Harley was running to clear out the 2016 models. I just dropped it off this morning for the 1000 miles service, and Phyllis and Leif are both wonderful to deal with in the Service Department. I don't see any reason why I'd ever need to take my business anywhere else. There is something very different about shopping at a family owned business, and being greeted by name when I walk in the door is a very nice change of pace from what you might expect from a dealership. The Gunnink family is doing a great job here, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy my next bike from them. Stop on by and see them if you're in the market for a new motorcycle, or if you're just riding through Ukiah and need service or a place to stretch your legs. Either way, you'll be welcomed with open arms. read more

I need to let everyone know that my husband got a call this afternoon from Emily at Gunnink and I must say that I feel horrible about the review it gave a month ago, but I believe if I hadn't of vented, no one would of called, no one wound have cared, no one would have known, so it kind of all balanced out . Emily and the Gunnink family are pretty cool, & we are looking forward to doing business with them again in the near future. read more

We took a ride to Ukiah Harley Davidson last year to check out the shop. What a great Harley Shop. The place has great customer service and they are very knowledgeable and ready to help you out. They have old bikes throughout the shop that give the place a shit ton of character. The clothing department is pretty big and has some cool stuff to choose from. I met one of the owners, Jim and his daughter who also runs the show and she definitely knows her stuff when it come to bikes . I felt at ease here at the Ukiah Harley, (Gunnink's Harley) They are a bunch of down to earth straight shootin bunch. We been back a few times to buy jackets, boots, clothes etc. I am still interested in the 2018 Sport Glide and plan on purchasing a vivid black with accessories in the near future. I am a sport bike owner and rider and because of the new 2018 Harley models which are bad ass, I had to test ride a few, 2018 Fat Bob 114 and the 2018 Sport Glide 107, and the Sport Glide ended up #1 for me. What a nice bike and ride, plenty of power and style and coolness. I did check out the Sonoma County Harley in Cotati and test rode the two said bikes, cool shop also. I will see on my few more stops in both places who is consistent with customer service and the deal I will end up getting. It's not just who offers a lower price of which definitely is part of the new bike purchase deal but who do I feel confident and comfortable in servicing my new bike. So I have some research to do still and a few more visits to both shops and that means I will also be doing some shopping in each Harley Shop until I get my answer, well of course the out the door price also. I'm a big fan of all motorcycles and love the open road...Safe travels to all and see you guys and girls soon. read more

November 2017 I stopped in to test ride 2018 Heritage Softail. I was offered FXBB to ride. I was told engine and transmission are the same. Test ride was fine but, I didn't like the bike at all. Note: There were two Heritage Softails on the showroom floor. If I had taken the Heritage Softail for a test ride, I most likely would have bought it on the spot. Maybe not. The 114 Heritage denim paint job makes me want to vomit. Salesman also seemed a little off on the engine facts by saying the Heritage is "Twin Cooled". I went south, test rode the Heritage, bought the God awful denim 114. The dealership made me a deal and repainted the bike. The Heritage was a easy sell but, you have to get off your ass and hustle to sell. The shop and employees seemed nice enough and I give credit for that. read more

I had just bought a pre-owned Harley from this shop but opted out of the optional warranty. Less than 24 hours later I ran into an issue. Well "F Me" is what I thought. Not so fast says the owner of the shop. Not only did he right away offer to help me out with discounted work, he called me back a few hours later and did one even better. I can't say enough about what that means to me as a customer/business owner. I think I could learn a little bit about customer service from these guys. I am a proud owner of a Harley Davidson Road Glide Ultra. I have been looking for another Harley for some time now. Dan at Gunnicks has been such a wealth of knowledge taking the time to educate me on the different models and what might interest me. After my test ride I was sold on my Road Glide. I knew I had to bring it home. In my experience there was no pressure to buy anything and I liked that. When I came to purchase my bike Dan showed me everything about the bike and was very professional. Emily was wonderful. She helped me with the paperwork and we were done quickly. I went into Gunnink's Harley Davidson in Ukiah only to be greeted with he upmost kindness and respect, not just from the sales floor but also from the parts department, motor clothes department and even in repair. The store is beautiful and it is set up like a showroom with a collection of vintage bikes, etc. They have a great selection in stock of many things and if they don't they can order it and have it to you by the next day. I ordered a bike from them and they were the most competitive and fair. I called around and could not get a bike from anywhere near the price they gave it to me for.
