This new hobby shop has opened where the old dollar store used to be. The store is simple with a…read morefresh coat of paint and new fixtures. A large chunk of the store is board games. You won't find Monopoly here, but you will find the popular games that many of the large toy stores don't carry like Dominion, Munchkin, Catan, etc. On the back wall there is a solid selection of Ravensberger puzzles and in the front corner of the store has a healthy comic book rack. The far side of the store contains Warhammer paraphernalia. They have three tables set up with terrain along the far wall. The majority of the Warhammer stock is 40K so if you're a base player, you'll find the selection limited. I overheard the owner talking to some customers that he likes to hear what people are talking about before he orders stock in so if you want something, ask.

Sure they have a stock program but while I was there they were talking about a customer inquiry about a certain item and 2 of the gentlemen said they didn't have it, yet 1 other gentleman said they had multiple... Personally avoid if you can, the claustrophobia and fear of getting buried alive isn't worth it. Go someplace else!

Not only are the individuals that were working there really helpful they seemed genuinely interested in what I was saying and asking. They have everything I am looking for and a few things I didn't know I was looking for. They have one of the better RC car and truck selections around as far as I can tell. They have plenty of upgrade and repair parts on hand and deal directly with a few of the larger aftermarket manufacturers. As with any hobby shop things aren't cheap but they aren't unexpectedly expensive either and again, as far as I can tell... they have some of the better prices to be found in the area. Anyways, the shop is by my office and any time I've gone in there it has been positive experience. Unless things are other than they seem or they change, I'll continue to shop there.

Whoever is doing the selection for what they carry is an obvious enthusiast. They carry all the newest and best things. They quickly restock games from the top lists of Board Game Geek. They make room for the biggest, most ridiculous games like Gloomhaven and other "big box" stuff. They're also priced extremely competitively. While they can't necessarily match Amazon for every price, they certainly do with most of their stuff. They have a lot of games Amazon Canada doesn't carry.

A Scrap Booker's Paradise!…read more I'm not a scrap book wizard by any means... but I know a one when I see one and I know the best place in Caglary to get your fix of scrap book goodies. I'm the guy with a bunch of photo albums in boxes under the stairs. I also (most of the time) custom make my greeting cards... I came here to see if I could come up with some ideas for my kids and I to do in the days ahead (they're 2 & 4 right now) The staff here are fantastic and attentive. I was a little overwhelmed the first time I went in the store (with my two little ones) but the staff took great care of us - they even had a game for my kids to play while I looked around. There's something for everyone in this store - seriously. I was amazed. Colours, textures, themes, etc... They also run workshops (haven't attended one yet but just may consider it as mother's day isn't far away). You can tell the staff really enjoy working here by the way they treat you... it was really appreciated. Lots of choices and a sure fire way to look like a hero if you were to sneak away a few nights to complete a project for that special someone. Whether you're pro and do-it-yourselfer or someone like me who would need some one-on-one guidance, this place is for you.
