Stopped by to visit them during Soda City's Winter Fest. They had 3 different sized bags of peanuts, sweet tea and a hot chocolate bar. I grabbed a medium bag of peanuts so I could share with some friends and a sweet tea. The peanuts were near perfection. Just the right amount of salt and every peanut was edible. Sometimes you get those rogue nasty peanuts when they are tiny or they've been boiled too long etc. but these were all great! Not a bad one in the bunch. The sweet tea was also perfectly sweetened and I added some fresh mint from the hot chocolate bar to special it up a bit. The hot chocolate bar looked impressive with at least 8 different add ins/toppings/mixers and there were also some impressive looking candy apples coated with a variety of sinful toppings. I didn't partake of those that day and I'm afraid that is a regret that I deal with on a daily basis... until next time, Happiness Bomb!

Sticks and Cones is a pretty straightforward truck selling ice cream and other frozen treats for a few bucks per order. The ice cream-filled Krispy Kreme doughnut was $3.25 ($3.00 + $0.25 tax). The owner had a box of raspberry and lemon-filled Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a vanilla and chocolate soft serve machine in his truck. So basically, those were the flavor combinations available. I went with a raspberry doughnut filled with vanilla ice cream. The owner split open the doughnut and piled the cold vanilla soft serve high. The high calorie concoction was served in a paper sleeve. It was hard to eat with my hands, so I grabbed a spoon to eat some of the excess ice cream first. The treat tasted exactly how you'd would expect and it's nothing you can't make at home (well, I guess you do need a soft serve machine, but regular ice cream would work just fine too). It was really messy to eat and once the ice cream started melting, it seeped through the wrap, making my hands sticky. This was kind of annoying considering there weren't any restrooms available so I could wash my hands. Overall, though, I enjoyed it and the owner was a nice guy. If I came back, I'd probably order something more "standard" and easier to eat (e.g. ice cream on a stick).

There are two trucks to Sticks and Cones - the Sticks truck, full of ice cream treats on a stick, and the Cones truck, a soft serve van of sorts. For a mere $2 and change, I scored a positively delightful and generous swirl soft serve cone rolled in sprinkles from the Cones truck. It was glorious. It was fresh. It was gorgeous, actually. And, of course, it was super delicious! The Cones trucks offers a variety of specially made ice cream treats beyond simple soft serve. You'll find a variety of creative sundaes - one called burger and fries that I'll most certainly need to try one of these days. The folks who own these trucks are just as sweet as the ice cream. And they take credit cards. Yes!

They don't have a set menu but what's available that day is posted in a couple of places, while you wait to order. They mark out things as they run out. I arrived just after 1 pm and there was already no more dessert. Not cool. Seating is odd and limited. Great for groups of 6 but horrible for 1-4 people unless you want to eat with strangers. Indoor has AC and outdoor is upstairs with narrow tables and it's stupid hot even with 2 fans. To order, you request your meat then slide down and order sides and desserts. They put it on a tray then you order drinks and pay. A tip was requested at checkout. A staff member did check on me 2 times for drink refills. Unfortunately it's clear you are to bus your table. Everything I ordered was really good and really expensive. Brace yourself...$33 for one person. I requested "a pound of ribs" which equaled to 2 ribs and was priced according to weight -$14.40. Good flavor and sauce but not very meaty. It's good that the smallest sides ARE large enough for 2 to share. There were no smaller single portion options, so I enjoyed the $6 cornbread pudding, $5 collard greens, a good sized $2 piece of cornbread - you get to choose center or side/corner - and a $3 sweet tea. Read that again: $14.40 for 2 ribs and $16 for 2 sides, bread and a drink. Overall good food but stupid expensive and unwelcome seating options. Posted hours: Saturday 12-5 and Sunday 12-3.
