Y'all I see the good reviews, but they're from over four years ago and I am telling you not to go…read morehere!!! I normally go to Pinch a Penny but Leslie's was closer to me at this time, and they seem to have slightly better prices so I gave them a try. Worst pool store experience I have had yet. There was an old gentleman there that was cranky, and slow, and didn't seem to care about what I personally wanted . I went in to get specific items and had them test My Water and all he did was try to sell me on several different things I know I didn't need. Plus, they didn't have the item that I actually needed . I left and went back to pinch a Penny and told them some of the information the guy had told me and they said that was completely wrong and that it should be illegal to give out bad information They have someone working at Pinch Penny that came from Leslie's and he vouched that they were only told to upsell, And had very little training . I will happily spend a little more money to have knowledgeable and friendly service .

Ask for Tammy, she is outstanding! We even bought our salt water system from her when we moved here 3 years ago; she use to work at the SW Cape Coral location. Now we call to see where she is and drive extra to get her professional advice. Thanks Tammy!

BEWARE of this location of Pinch A Penny. We hired them to service our pool. They did not perform…read moreservices they were hired to do. In fact, couldn't tell me the last time the salt cell was cleaned. My husband cancelled service the last week of May 2026. Since they bill in advance, we should not have been charged for June 2026. Which we were. I have called to speak with the owner/manager 3 times. He is never there and will not return my calls...or issue my credit.

I am surprised the location on the parkway in Cape Coral by the UPS store is still in business. I…read morehave dealt with unprofessional people in my life but the lackadaisical attitude of this employee just blew me away. I will keep this short. I use their liquid chlorine jug program and have never had any issues until the last trip. I routinely get 4 jugs refilled, store them in the garage. I got home, unloaded them onto the floor, later that night I was in the garage and smelled a "clean" smell. I didn't pay attention; my wife uses bleach on the whites when she washes. The next morning, I was back in the garage and as I started walking towards the jugs the smell got stronger. I looked down and saw that the jug had slowly leaked onto the floor. I took it and placed it on a concrete bench out by the pool. That jug was the first jug I started using, it also leaked onto the bench. Today, 7/9 I took only 3 jugs to get refilled. I had purposely written with marker, "hole in jug" to make sure I didn't get the same jug. The black-haired employee after I told him what transpired with the hole in the jug and wanting to exchange the defective jug with a "new" one, I would have to pay 10 dollars for a "new" jug. I explained the situation again and his was response was the same thing. I will NEVER use that business again, I should have looked at the reviews and gone elsewhere for my business. I just filled my 2 jugs, paid and walked away. As I was reading some of the comments the only replies Pinch A Penny sends are on reviews that are positive. I wonder why....

This was an amazing company to work with, very professional. Usually when renovating the experience…read moreis very stressful but not with them. They had one team do it all I didn't even have to worry about permitting. 10/10 would do it again if i didnt already get my dream pool from them lol!

We hired BXPOKE LLC to build our inground pool, and unfortunately the experience was extremely…read moredisappointing. Communication was poor, deadlines were repeatedly missed, and several items remained unfinished even after we were told the project was complete. The pavers that had to be removed to repair a pipe that we believe was damaged by their team--and for which they never accepted responsibility--were never properly restored. Polymeric sand was not installed, some pavers outside the cage were left unfinished, one of the pool jets still doesn't work, and the suction pipe cover is missing. To be fair, Mai did eventually come out and show us how to operate the pool equipment after our repeated requests. However, the pool lights are still not working. We were told someone would come out to fix them, but it has now been over two more weeks with no communication and no one has shown up. To make matters worse, we were later presented with additional charges that we never agreed to, and some of our payments were not properly credited until we provided the exact dates and amounts ourselves. That should never be the customer's responsibility. We gave the company multiple opportunities to make things right, but the follow-through was consistently lacking. Spending this much money on a pool should be an exciting experience--not months of chasing unfinished work and unresolved issues. I hope this review helps other homeowners make an informed decision. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! My pool was completed exactly 13 months ago. About a month ago I…read morenoticed my pool kept losing water after I filled it up completely. I called proline pools about my problem because it was still under warranty, and the lady told me that they were under new management and they could not fix my pool. She said she'd speak with the previous owner Robert. Ok, after a lot of back & forth bullshit, I could not get a hold of Robert, the new owner would not fix my pool, so I called in a pool tech from Red Rhino, and within an hour he located the leak. It came from the pipe connected to one of my circulators. They came out within 2 days and fixed the leak, he even showed me the busted pipe, and where he dug it out. Red Rhino is a great company, but this was an expensive repair because mind you my pool was sitting dormant for about a month and green algae had taken over, so even after the leak I had Red Rhino to give me a quote on the algae removal (which was $400) because I could not get a hold of anyone from proline pools. Overall, I had to foot a tab of $2,500. Even after I sent them the damn repair bill, I haven't heard a single peep from anyone at proline pools. I was thinking about filing a lawsuit, but I won't be petty about how they were to me. A $90,000 custom pool had a $2500 leak nearly one year after being built, & no one there would honor their workmanship after I contacted them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, AND IF YOU DO DECIDE TO CHOOSE THIS COMPANY, GOD HELP YOU IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR POOL!
