Our rooms were ready upon checking in and it was an easy process. When first walking in the lobby I loved the chandeliers and luxury feel of the hotel. They have valet service which they're all extremely nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was equipped with a kitchen/sink/fridge/and dishwasher which was nice on nights we wanted to eat in. The beds were my favorite as the sheets are very comfy. The view is stellar over looking the marina with boats docked. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the sunset. I also think the highlight of this hotel is the service. Our rooms were cleaned every day, even when we were in our rooms late afternoon and needed the room cleaned later on in the day without having to ask to come back later for cleaning. Also, the pools, hot tub, and lazy river are so fun and beautifully kept. There is also an adult only section of the pool with a lap pool , regular pool, and hot tub which was nice. However, the club where the pools are are a little far and the hotel staff transport you to and from the pools back to the hotel. Some times it takes five minutes but when they're busy you might wait 10-20 minutes for a shuttle which can sometimes be hard to wait with small children. Also, if you want a shuttle to the beach it's great because they give you towels, umbrellas, and chairs. The downside is we had to wait almost 30 minutes for the shuttle back to the hotel. The same gentlemen that valet the cars are the ones that shuttle guests around. When they're busy valeting, shuttle services get backed up. I do think they should have more shuttles, but other than that it was a wonderful experience. Lastly, Larry was one of the best shuttle staff. He was personable, helpful, and always had a smile. Overall, we enjoyed our time here.

Caper Beach Club  Unit C311…read more Dear Owners of C311, Your condo is spacious, comfortable, clean, functional, and lovely.  We regret staying at The Caper Beach Club 3/22-3/29/25.  According to Diana (front desk employee) my family and I are, 'bad customers'. We're bad customers because our 5 & 6 year old boys were playing basketball with a floating toy we brought from home. See picture. Diana told us that the toy violated a pool rule, but suggested our children and their new friends should play with that toy on the small grass area next to the standing water and service street. (By the way, it's gross to walk around standing water to enter/exit the pool area.) Here are the pool rules that are most challenging for families: -No inflatables -No flotations -No ball playing Seriously, at a pool?? What if your kid can't swim? Who wrote and approved these? The same people who collect 20% of all rental income for the building? Yep, those grumpy anti-kid patrol curmudgeons who complain to the front desk. They're unliked by the rest of the property owners, and obviously us renters who selected this location because it seemed like a good place for families. On 3/27 the whole building was displaced due to no electricity and no water. Unbelievable. They hung these notes on our doors. We understand that sometimes unfortunate things can occur. When we asked Diana about compensation, or discounted options for us to have lunch, etc. they told us they were not responsible and would doing anything for renters.  Diana told us we could use the pool during that time- BUT the condo owners we met at the pool told us the pool's electric filtration system will not work and to stay out of the pool. (The same outage situation occurred a just before our arrival.) Thanks to the folks at Pink Shell for giving my family a discounted rate for a day pass. We appreciate the Fort Myers Beach hospitality.  We support Fort Myers Beach. We were excited to visit again after a couple of missed years. Our favorite places are Bay to Beach, Salty Sam's Pirate Cruise, Nervous Nellie's, Junkaroo on the Beach and so many more.  We'll be back to Fort Myers Beach, but will not stay at Caper Beach Club again.

SANDALFOOT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY AND VIOLATES THE ADA…read more My family and I stayed here for the last 4 days. I am elderly and recovering from a recent hip operation. On the second day, we were informed that the elevator was broken and they didn't know when it would be fixed, which is an ADA violation. Then they told us it was fixed and safe to use, only to then reveal (after we and others had been using it) that it wasn't actually fixed and could "stop at any time". Our rooms were on the third floor and they didn't not offer us a room on the first floor until we brought up the fact that it is incredibly dangerous for me to be using stairs (and also an ADA violation), and when they did, it was only for me so I was separated from my family which is dangerous if I fell. My family had to help me down 3 flights of stairs, which was incredibly stressful. We received no empathy from staff. It is illegal to not provide safe exit routes for ALL tenants. The fact that we had to tell them that in order for them to begrudgingly offer us a room on the first floor is ridiculous and disappointing. The incompetent support team was very dismissive and disrespectful to my granddaughter. They even suggested that she sign a waiver saying that SHE would be personally responsible if anyone was trapped or injured in the elevator. That would not hold up in any court and is an absolutely despicable thing to suggest. They acted like I was an inconvenience. It put a huge damper on what should have been a lovely family vacation. Aside from the very illegal waiver they asked us to sign, undignified disrespect and general incompetence (their customer service is outsourced and does not communicate with hotel staff), they locked us out of our rooms before check-out time and didn't offer any kind of compensation for their carelessness. They also gave us a whole list of chores to complete before leaving which wasn't explained to us upon arrival. Their site should be more transparent about them expecting tenants to perform their own housekeeping. The condos are fully furnished and equipped with all your needs. They even had beach chairs, beach towels and coolers available. The bathrooms were a bit grungy and outdated. But overall the condos are kept pretty clean. We had unit 3D3 and it was super spacious. Parking was right out front. There are several local markets in the area to stock up on food,albeit a bit pricey. I recommend you stop at publix before entering island. If ever in Sanibel again, I will definitely book my stay here.

At one point the price was raised because I asked to change the reservation to be in a larger space (cottage 4, with two rooms). But when I arrived I went into a tiny cabin for two nights. Then when my family arrived instead of being in the larger accommodation that I had booked, we were put in a beach cabin with -only one bedroom- (for 4 adults!). Please explain how we could end up being charged even more. And none of this even accounts for the fact that when I arrived, not only was there no key waiting for me, they didn't even realize I was arriving though I had communicated with them five days before -and- during working hours --on the day of my arrival. I was incredibly kind about all of this. (I even notified them that your washing machine was broken and helped move the waterlogged things to the machine that was working.) And what did I get? An -additional- charge despite my cockroach housemates (that I sent them photos of and to their credit, for which they brought in an exterminator the following day to deal with) and the weary old old mattress with two body sags on either side for my first two nights stay. The space with the broken window slats that passerbys can see right in at night. They made none of this right.

With that said, the Caesar salad is large and presented beautifully with an oversized Parmesan crisp on top. The shrimp curry was flavorful and not too spicy. The chocolate decadence dessert was not what I expected. It's a deconstructed version (which I'm not a fan of) of chocolate cake. Nonetheless, it tasted great. As for the expense, well, it IS the Four Seasons...in Naples. You have to expect it to be expensive.

They have rubber bracelets that you use to unlock the door! They have coffee and donuts on Tuesdays in the owners lounge (hangout) and bingo with Ice cream sundaes and root beer floats on Wednesdays. Condo is right on the beach so all you do is walk down and they even have cabana dan services. Don't you just hate when hotels have carpeted floors? These have tiled/wood floors that feel great on your feet. This hotel is amazing and I recommend it!
