    Please see photos for shoddy workmanship from this company, photos documented to show poor workmanship. ALSO please search this comapny in all review platforms such as their 2.5 star rating on BBB. Contracted Gulf Gate through my pool company for a pool cage installation, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. In hindsight, I wish we had opted to hire a different company directly. From the outset, working with Gulf Gate was problematic. On the first day, the crew damaged our fascia/soffit, exposing the plywood roof and leaving nails from shingles exposed overnight. It was evident they did not anticipate us inspecting their work. Additionally, every single beam installed was scratched, chipped and dented despite the fact that we purchased new aluminum. The crew attempted to cover up the scratches with black paint instead of bronze, making the issue even more noticeable. More concerning was their handling of structural beams. They removed these beams without providing adequate roof support, which was distressing as a homeowner. I had to intervene personally to ensure the roof was supported, a situation made more difficult by the crew's lack of English proficiency. Furthermore, there were issues with the screen door installation and damage to our fence post, which they used as a cutting surface. Despite these problems, Gulf Gate was slow to address them. After the initial installation, they were reluctant to return promptly to fix the issues, with a delay of over a month. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, Gabrielle from scheduling dismissed my concerns, stating that their work had passed inspection, showing little regard for the quality of their workmanship. When Matt, the manager, eventually contacted me, his response was inadequate. He suggested that scratches and dents were normal for outdoor structures, which was unacceptable given that we paid for new, pristine materials. Matt's demeanor during our conversation felt dismissive, and his comments about the size of the company compared to our project were unprofessional. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the incomplete work and the lack of documentation of the issues, the manager (at the office not sure of his name) responded dismissively, saying, "I'll just have my crew pack up and leave then." Matt's approach to addressing my concerns was unprofessional. He refused to acknowledge the substandard quality of the work and was dismissive of my frustration. When I pointed out that I had every right to be upset, and he won't dictate my reactions to the situation, Matt responded by stating, "Well, how about this, I'll dictate when my crew comes out to fix everything." This response was both unprofessional and unhelpful. While Gulf Gate did return to address MOST of the issues after a month, several problems, such as a large dent in a beam that was missed during our walkthroughs, remained unresolved. This experience underscores the importance of getting it right the first time. Our fence still has holes and aluminum in it/on it. Facia is still scratched and dented in a specific area. This review aims to provide an honest account of my experience with Gulf Gate. Photos documenting the issues are available for reference. Monday had a new beam installed to replaced the dented one is all scratched up. **response to owner Indeed this is exactly what this platform is used for, I've left very positive reviews on companies and negative ones, but once again it's a review platform it's being used exactly how it should be. Everything is true in this statement which I why we did photos along with every error noted. Our door was hung wrong for over a month they did not resolve it in an appropriate time frame. If me cursing at the situation NOT YOU offends you, if someone's choice of words has that effect on you, maybe you are the problem. My issues had nothing to due with diversity at work it was solely the language barrier that created issues.
