Lots has changed, but not this place. When I was in college Kwik Fill had did a complete rebuild to make it look like it does today. Since the rebuild, does not look like much has changed. Maybe the building aged a bit, but that's about all. It is the only gas station in town. Also one of the few places to get items that are convenient. Hot food is also available if you are up for some gas station fare. Back in the day I remember coming here for some chicken strips and fries. Typical items you would find in a gas station convenience store. Typical service as well. Attentive as expected, but it seems like a bit of a joking atmosphere. Lots of joking between employees, and some of the regulars that stop in here. It appears to be a frequent spot for local authorities. You have to give it to them. It is a needed place in town and it has served its purpose all those years.

Upon pulling up to the next pump ahead, the transaction machine indicated that the pump does not take card, which required entering the store to pay in cash. I'd rather drive out of the area to a gas station with more accessible gas pumps, and better customer service during times of inconvenience.

During the transaction the cashier was polite and continued to talk with me. However I was unable to see the cigarettes that she rang up behind my other items. Otherwise I would've noticed and said something right away as I always check to make sure I'm getting the right thing. I did not fully see them before she placed everything into a bag. So once my card went through and I started to walk out, I realized she gave me kings. So I turned around and said excuse me I wanted 100's. The lady then proceeded to say that she didn't hear that, that I only said Newport soft pack.. Which I know that is not true bc I only smoke 100's. Also if that's all I said then why didn't she ask if I wanted kings or 100s to make sure? It would've also been nice if I could've seen that they were kings before the transaction was completed. Because when all was said and done she would not exchange them even though I did not leave the store and clearly stated that I wanted 100's. So it would be nice if the cashier would double check with the person on the kind and size asked for especially if they're not willing to exchange even when you haven't left the store. So I had to buy two more packs of cigarettes because someone else did not hear me correctly. And now I have two packs of cigarettes that I do not smoke and frankly can't afford to have because of someone else's mistake. Now I will say the cashier was polite and said that she was sorry afterwards. However I still feel that was very unfair that she did not clarify the size I asked for and the fact that I did not leave the store and had no way of tampering with them that she wouldn't exchange them. She was also claiming that her eyes would not stay open, covering them and squinting the entire time. So maybe it wasn't that she didn't hear me and she just happened to grab the wrong size? But instead of admitting to making a possible mistake she blamed me saying that I did not say 100's. When I know without a shadow of a doubt that I did say 100's. I do not order any king cigarettes ever so I know that is not possible.. Just very frustrating.

On a second occasion, my drinks were made incorrectly with the wrong flavors, AGAIN! I definitely started notice a pattern rather than bad luck, so I went back to the store to get it corrected. What really stood out wasn't just the mistake itself, but how it was handled. It's one thing to make an error, but it's another when someone is literally looking at you and laughing about it as if wasting someone's time and money is funny, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I did speak with a manager, she took responsibility for the situation but didn't actually handle or resolve it. Honestly felt like she was trying to brush the issue off and move past it as if it never really happened and to me that really shows that customer service at this store doesn't seem like a priority. If you don't like your job, then QUIT, because bringing that kind of negative energy into customer interactions isn't fair to people who are paying for a service.
