Among the top 3 pasta marinara dishes I have ever had!!! Number 1 is my wife's pasta marinara, 2 is Pernicanos in San Diego, this is 3.

This was a new restaurant at the resort we like to stay at. The worst fault was it was quite noisy. Not sure if it was an acoustic issue. We started off with the garlic cheesy bread. It had a slice of melted mozzarella on top and it was very yummy, especially since it had a delicious marinara dipping sauce. It could used more garlic (after all, it was garlic bread). My wife had the pasta with meat sauce, and it was just ok. I had pasta marinara with 2 meatballs, and it was EXCELLENT!! It was a wonderful sauce saturated with tomatoey flavor, and a hint of sugar. Dessert was a large scoop of chocolate Gelato, and it hit the spot!! We liked our dinner so much that we made a reservation for our last night at the resort!!

Another carb loading day before relay race. It brought me and my teammates to Gluseppes Restaurant. I believe it regional chain cause name sounds familiar and been to one before in life. It good memories of good basic Italian food. Interesting with this restaurant it sits on golf course and kind of club house for members. The outside hard to find or tell because only one sign outside. It looks more like pulling up club house or upscale golf course. The golf course makes it different views sitting outside on the patio. We did because the weather was perfect. I went with stable pasta dish like carb loading nice hearty bolognese. It was spot on. Nothing fancy but tomato sauce in point. Hearty and filling. Server was awesome. Attentive, friendly, and five stars for service.

We went to Giuseppe's with high hopes. We love Chicago deep dish pizza. The closest good deep dish near the desert is in Phoenix. The restaurant and bar was nice, loud and busy. The service was only fair, seemed like they were understaffed and the bar was slow and the drinks expensive. The biggest disappointment however, was the pizza. The cheese and crust were good but you could barely find the sausage on our pizza. Our friends went on a scavenger hunt for their pepperoni. The most prominent feature of the pizza was the tomatoes, LOTS of tomatoes. Actually too many tomatoes. We left disappointed with no plans to return.

Great food. Highly recommend the pizza and brussels sprouts! They have a daily happy hour and prefix specials. Staff was friendly and quick. What the weather close for the view from the patio is really pretty and looks out onto the golf course.

    Dessert to go at front.

This location has been open 11 weeks as of 10.21.25, according to our great server, Izzy. I was wondering why so few pictures & reviews of such an amazing location, beautiful decor and delicious food. If you're staying at the Marriott Shadow Ridge, it's a fairly easy walk from any of the buildings to the location, just to the west of the registration/lobby area, in the building with the golf shop. We knew we would enjoy one no cooking in our resort unit at least one night, so after strolling around the property to check things out, we headed to Giuseppes for a bite. Without a reservation on a Tuesday night at 7:15, we were happily offered outside patio or bar for immediate seating, or a ~10-15 mins wait for the dining room. We selected the bar area and were escorted to a high table aside the bar immediately. Hubs perused the large menu while I snapped pics all around - I already knew I was having the sole. lol Izzy came over within a couple of minutes and offered to take a drink order while we looked at the menu, but we knew what we wanted so ordered straight away. Izzy smiled and thanked us for making it so easy. Off he went and we sat back to take in the beautiful decor and expanse of this large restaurant. Our food arrived within 15 mins and was great! My sole with lemon caper sauce and side of garlic sautéed spinach was perfectly delicate and delicious. Hub's pizza was obviously hand tossed, piping hot, light and yum! The only distracting thing - a V E R Y minor point - was the music overhead. Call me old fashioned, but when you have this warm decor and well appointed furnishings with a vast Italian menu, I wanna hear Frank and Dino crooning in the background. I wasn't opposed to the 80s and modern blend, but Palm Springs Rat Pack is definitely expected 'round these parts. They also have a beautiful lounge area for 21+ to enjoy live entertainment Fri - Sun evenings. That would be worth checking out for an aprés dinner drink and wind down. We would definitely return and I would very much like to try the freshly made pasta. That's amore! Cheers! "CC"

So happy to see live music and it started early like 6:00

We stopped into Giuseppe's in Palm Desert on Saturday evening for happy hour and the place was absolutely hopping--in the best way. There were family celebrations, couples enjoying dinner, and a lively bar full of friendly people. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food came out quickly and was delicious. My Italian husband is usually a tough critic, but even he said the sauce was almost as good as his mother's! The service was fun and friendly, which added to the relaxed, festive vibe. By the time we finished dinner, there was live music starting, which of course required another glass of wine before leaving. A big thank you to Joe Funkey and Paul Goldstine for bringing the great food and fun atmosphere of Giuseppe's Palm Desert to the center of the valley. We'll definitely be back!

This is my third time here, I guess I'm a regular now :) the service is phenomenal. The food is fabulous and served 2nd to none. Very upbeat and lively. I'd like to keep it a secret, but too good not to share!

Great service, nice menu, very good food. The Caesar salad was a nice rendition, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. My wife had a "spiced" pasta with a red sauce - good, but hardly "spiced." Prices reasonable. Nice ambiance.

It ended up taking 50 minutes just to get into the rideshare drop-off area. It honestly felt like they were prioritizing VIP and self-parking over rideshare, because those lines were moving while we were stuck in stopped traffic. Getting picked up afterward was even worse--it took over two hours because our Uber driver couldn't get in. For an arena of this size that's been open for several years, I would expect a much better system and flow for rideshare. I understand parking is a big source of revenue, but if rideshare is offered as an option, it should also be managed as a priority.

My daughter and I stood at the entrance for several minutes without being greeted. During that time, the manager was visibly overwhelmed and speaking harshly to the young hostesses, who appeared uncomfortable and trying to maintain composure. Despite this, no one acknowledged us until I offered a friendly "Happy Cinco de Mayo," at which point a hostess kindly stepped in to seat us. Unfortunately, the situation escalated. Twice, as we were being seated, the manager abruptly intervened -- placing reserved signs down and yelling at the hostess, myself and daughter we could not sit there. His tone was harsh, dismissive, and unnecessarily confrontational. This happened two times at two different tables that we were escorted to by the hostess and in front of my young daughter. Needless to say it was both uncomfortable and humiliating. I have never experienced a restaurant manager behave with this level of disrespect toward a guest, especially a woman with her child. I felt embarrassed and heartbroken that my daughter had to witness this. When I calmly approached him to understand the situation, he responded by stating they had "400 reservations," followed by dismissive and aggressive body language that made it clear we were not welcome. The interaction ended with us leaving and both tears. My daughter said "I'm scared mommy, why was that man so mean". A guest from the restaurant who was dinning and witnessed the incident came out just to see if we were ok. Equally concerning was how he treated his own staff, especially female staff setting a negative and unprofessional tone throughout the front of house. As someone from a fourth-generation family in the restaurant industry, I find this especially disheartening. I would be deeply concerned if any manager in our organization treated a guest or employees this way. I understand holidays are demanding, but being busy does not excuse a lack of basic respect and professionalism. I am sharing this in hopes that upper management addresses this directly. No woman / person and her child should have to experience this kind of treatment.

The first time, I assumed it might have been specific to the artist. The second time, I gave it a pass because that performer is known for heavy bass. But at yesterday's ABBA show, the same issue happened again -- overwhelming bass with very little vocal clarity. During the ABBA performance, there was noticeable activity from the tech team on the floor, running back and forth as if adjustments were being made. The sound did improve mildly in the second half, which suggests something was being corrected, but it never fully balanced. The only moment where the vocals truly came through clearly was when the band stopped playing and the artists closed out a song unaccompanied. That contrast made the overall mixing issue even more obvious. We mentioned the problem to an usher, and she acknowledged she noticed the same issue during the first half of the show -- too much bass and not enough lyrics. On the way out, several other guests were discussing the sound as well. One person mentioned this was their second disappointing experience with audio quality at the venue. To be clear, the venue itself is great. It's easy to access, the seats are spacious and comfortable, and once you're past the casino floor, the space feels clean and well maintained. But for live music fans, sound quality is everything -- and right now, it's simply not delivering.

It felt lively, celebratory, and like exactly the kind of place you want for a wedding after party. The staff was welcoming, service was strong, and the atmosphere carried the night forward in a really fun way. We would absolutely recommend Copa for anyone looking for an upbeat Palm Springs after party venue.

I had found COPA through an online search for large groups, and to be fair, that's exactly what it is. We got the free tickets so had to arrive by 10, and it seemed like from 9-10 they had a bachelorette party focused hour where hired male dancers went around and danced with the bride to bes. We saw this from outside, and were already a little wary. Inside, the space is pretty small and the transition to multiple bridal party groups sitting down to a makeshift dance floor was pretty awkward - there were rows of seats lining the dance floor area. Once the DJ got underway and the dance floor formed, it was pretty fun! They played old school hits for the most part that we remembered from high school and college. It felt very comfortable as we were surrounded by a sea of other bach parties. It seemed like a bit of a pay-to-play situation - certain brides would get taken up on stage to dance, and it seemed like the ones who had paid for the VIP experience beforehand. We ended up heading out around midnight to see if we could find something with a bit more local ambiance and less bach parties, but appreciated the music and comfortable ambiance.
