They were left on our porch for a total of 30 seconds and they were liquid inside. completely ruined. No effort was made to have them survive the trip despite knowing where it was being sent to (a desert in the summer). It was shipped in a plain brown cardboard box and packed with standard air bags. No Styrofoam, no dry ice, nothing to prevent it from bring completely destroyed most likely way before it got to our house. If you're going to allow international shipping like you do I feel like greater care should be taken to ensure that the product will survive the trip! And we know your policy states that you aren't liable for damage due to climate but it's ridiculous to expect your customers to assume a candy shop doesn't take precautions to ensure that the chocolate won't melt in the summer! The prices can be a little high but there are often sales on at Whittard. I think I heard on the news that its one of the company's that has recently gone into administration it would be a real shame if Whittard closed down.
