I take all my wheel aligments for my repair shop here. They always do a great job. Would not take any of my customer's cars anywhere else.

This shop charges you top dollar on parts and labor, however if you have an issue good luck. I had a product with lifetime warranty on a product with a street value of $60 (double of course through them) and got a song and dance for a week after dropping thousands of dollars there, and walked away having to go elsewhere. Their labor is good, I've never had an issue with the work performed, but do expect them to stand up and do the right thing if an issue occurs. Which they did not. no loyalty. Bottom line: not worth the upcharge. go someplace where your business is appreciated. read more

I'm not sure where negative reviews come from aside from bringing your own parts, Lifetime Guarantees. Am worst kind of customer for John as do lot of own work on my cars however, never criticized for that either directly or, by inference. Have been in auto repair business one way or another for over 50 years and learned that one, don't know as much as think do, only get what you pay for. Bringing own parts creates lot of issues not least o which is it right one? Secondly, shop has to guarantee work so only comfortable with sourcing, installing known products, etc. Really, bring own tea bag too diner and ask for free cup of hot water? Life time guarantees don't exist; if you check all are prorated, etc, Kinda' silly to expect any significant Life Time anything, is self-explanatory come on. Guarantor figures statics show item will replaced, sold, junked way before show up with Model A for new muffler after 100 years!? Bottom line is been going to John sporadically for more than 30 years, never an issue, what is dependable is honesty, integrity that cannot be bought! I called for an estimate on the replacement of a pitman arm. I had the brand new part already (a good quality Moog piece), but couldn't take another day off of work or get the chance to replace it myself as I was going on vacation in the next 3 days. After spending 10 minutes on hold Guelfi gets on and I explain what I needed done. As soon as he heard that I already had the part, he shouts "Forget it! I'm not interested in that.." and hangs up on me. I was referred to John Geullfi by a co-worker who said his shop did decent work. But, his severe lack of business and interpersonal skills more than cancels out any potential benefit in that area. Like the last guy said, go someplace where your business is appreciated. Lord knows there are plenty of shops out there that are willing to treat you like a human being! read more
