How to begin?... Guci Image is a place not just unlike anywhere I've been before, but a place I didnt know could exist. Growing up I had particularly thick, long hair. However, after receiving a double lung transplant at the age of 23, I lost more than half of my hair, and what remained was thin, jagged and short. I started saving up money however I could and investigating hair salons when I came across Guci Image on Google. I sent Guci Image an email, expressing both my needs and concerns. Within days I heard back, but unlike many salons, Guci Image didn't give me an electronic response, or a run around email. In fact, the owner himself, Joe, contacted me directly. We then spoke via phone conversation and I came to find that hair extensions at Guci were more than I could currently afford. Joe told me to come in with whatever I had and we'd talk. When I got to Guci Image, I was greeted and treated like a celebrity. Debbie gave me such a warm and smiling welcome, making me feel immediately at ease. Joe discussed the hair extension process details with me and then went on to tell me he would like to gift me hair extensions. I was ecstatic!! Again, unlike other hair salons, and trust me, I have been to tons trying to remedy my hair situation before finally arriving at Guci, Joe understood the deeper meaning behind why I wanted long hair, and not only that, Joe doesn't look at clients and see a walking money sign, but instead see's clients for who they are; people. We scheduled a date and the dream started becoming reality. Judy was more than kind enough to volunteer to put my extensions in, and with such a sweetheart, the time flew by as we chatted. I can honestly say, I felt like I was living a movie. The suite that I had my hair done in had a couch, a large screen TV, and even a coffee maker! Although, I have to admit I could hardly focus on any of those things knowing I would soon have beautiful hair again! Once the extensions were in, Sandi came in to cut and style my hair -- and boy, did she! My hair came out looking and feeling incredible!! I was completely overwhelmed. See, for my entire life I had tons of people taking care of my health, watching every level, treating every symptom, doing whatever was necessary to keep me alive. But now... now I AM healthy... but I didn't look it. I never realized how looking and feeling beautiful can have such an effect on a person. Joe understood this aspect about me before I did. Guci Image took care of a part of my life that doctors and nurses couldn't. After receiving my extensions from Guci Image -- I finally looked as healthy as I felt. Now I know a lot of you are probably wanting a review of the actual hair and what not so here it is. The procedure to put them in is painless, easy and doesn't damage your existing hair, as is the procedure to take them out. The hair isn't difficult to work with, and is 100% virgin human hair. Maintenance is just as if you had long hair of your own - proper brushing and washing. I have not seen quality like this ANY where else in ALL the places that I have searched. I've been seeing reviews on here with.. let's just say, a less than thrilled consensus and I honestly have no clue what any of those people are talking about. Too many times people write reviews to hurt someone's reputation and tell others about a negative experience, however some reviews are fabricated and not even true. My experience is such that I feel compelled to say thank you to Guci image and there staff in this way. I was losing hair at a rapid rate and was afraid that within six months I would be bald. I went to numerous doctors and received different recommendations and remedies for my hair loss. No one could give me straight answers on why I was losing hair. I tried injections, topical solutions, supplements and even Prp. Up until now, nothing seemed to work. About 2 1/2 months ago a friend of mine recommended Guci Image and said I should call them and ask to speak with Joe, he's the owner and hair loss specialist. We spoke for almost an hour on the telephone expressing how devastated I was and my fear of being bald. He was absolutely amazing in making me feel confident and comfortable that he could help. I started my journey with Guci 5 years ago and it has been the best decision of my life. I started with the laser therapy for one year to prevent further hair loss/shedding. When my hair stabilized I was cleared to get the beautiful, realistic hair extensions that I've dreamed of along with laser maintenance. These hair extensions are put in strand by stand and held together by a protein keratin bond which is not damaging to the hair. Literally the best decision/experience I could do for my hair condition known as Andro-genetic Alopecia. For me, the length wasn't important, but I needed it for the density. If it weren't for Guci I would never have this beautiful, full, realistic hair. Over the years everyone has complemented it and said that they would of never known that they were extensions!!! I told the hair stylist to trim my hair. I showed her a picture of ME to show her what my hair looks like. She took the clippers and shaved me to where almost 3/4 of my head is shaved to 1/4" long!!! I even have a bald mark from where the clippers got me. I said "What are you doing?" She replied, "This is a 4, should I go shorter?" OMG...I would be bald. I feel like a UGLY WOMEN. My self-esteem is horrible right now. I'm embarrassed to be in public. I look horrible. When my hair is long enough they are to cover the expense of hair extensions, and will have to cover the expense of the upkeep until my hair is back to its original condition and length,. The day I walked into to Guci Image I was in tears with no hope that my hair would ever grow back. I had severe frontal baldness and a huge knot on the back of my head. I felt like a shell of myself. Joe made me feel at ease and for the first time in months I felt like a had a chance to get through this. I have been suffering with Alopecia Areata since I was 2 years old and throughout the years I have gone through many different stages of hair loss. sometimes losing as much as 80% of my hair while other times just losing small spots. Almost everyone in my family has thick hair while I went through a phase of countless strands of hair on my sweater, jacket, comb.. so this was kind of not normal. I tried biotin along with home remedies but it didn't do anything :-( A mix of oils made my hair less frizzy but my hair still felt so thin. A huge thanks to Joe and his staff though. The people at Guci are knowledgeable and friendly. Great customer service! This was an amazing experience to my thinning hair problem. I suffered with this for at least a year before turning to Guci for help. It took about 4-5 months but I have now seen incredible results. Joe, the owner is the most dishonest person I have EVER met in my entire life. His laser treatment was causing me excruciating pain and more hair loss, which I reportedly immediately. He accused me of lying and tried to talk me into continuing the treatment. Do not give your money to this man because he will keep it without giving any results. They doesn't have customer service, I went there two times and was good enough to don't come back no more, they treats you like you go to ask for favor or free service, it's no only that you have to wait long period of time for service, it's she's rude, it's true is a cheap place to have your hair done, but she has to care about been nice and friendly.
