For years, I was searching for a salon that made me feel comfortable. As a girl with extremely curly hair, I've experienced a ton of discrimination and have been turned away at the door by stylist who don't want to bother with my hair texture. I found Elite Beauty Lounge through a Groupon for a haircut and blow dry with a Junior Stylist. I fully expected this to be a one and done visit, as so many times before, however, I was wrong. I've now been coming to Elite Beauty Lounge for 3 years now. Kylie is a superstar stylist and I don't know what I would do without her! She always makes my hair look fabulous and has actually helped me get out of my comfort zone to try new styles and hair colors. I always look forward to coming into her salon, even if it's just for a trim.
I cannot say enough positive things about Kylie! She's been doing my hair for a couple years now and I'm not going to stop anytime soon. Not only is she a talented stylist but she has the most cheerful personality. Every time I come in for a cut and balayage, the hours spent feels like I'm hanging out with a friend. She has taken my very dark hair to all sort of shades and lengths - short, long, blondes, browns, brondes to black and back to blonde again yet my hair is still in great condition. I love the fact the she gives her professional opinion so that there are no surprises in the end. Unless you ask for it! Book her! I purchased a Groupon to have a Haircut with Deep-Conditioning Treatment, Blowout, and Full Highlights or Balayage with Juli. I took a gamble getting a Groupon but I don't regret it one bit- it's such a steal! It's been over a month and I still get compliments on my hair. I reached out via Instagram and was easily able to book my appointment. Definitely give it a try, and don't forget, hair grows back if not :)
I just got balayage for the first time and I absolutely love the way it came out. I used a groupon with the stylist, Maureen. She cut, colored and blew out my hair exactly how I had envisioned. She was detail oriented and took her time to make sure the color was natural. The whole process did take a long time. But it was 100% worth the wait. The salon was clean, sanitary, and stylish. They offered me water, coffee and snacks. The stylists wore face shields and I wore a mask due to covid. I would definitely come back for my next appointment and have already told all my friends about the awesome salon!
Kylie did an amazing job with an even lighter balayage this time. I'm so prone to orange that I was really nervous but I'm so happy with it!!
Hands down the best salon in Bergen County, if not all of NJ. Kylie, the owner, is phenomenal with color/balayage. She also is great at cuts/layers. I've been coming to Kylie for three years and wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. The salon also offers makeup, blow outs and men's services. Parking is easy, right in front or nearby and free on weekends. Booking appointments is fast and seamless. Highly recommend!
I asked one of my friends for recommendations for a stylist who can do balayage and she referred me to Kylie (the owner). It's been 4 years and multiple stylists and I never get the balayage the color I wanted it until I met Kylie. She's so sweet and personable but still did an amazing job. I absolutely LOVE my hair. So happy I finally found someone I can keep coming too!

I've been going to Kylie for 8+ years and just forgot to ever write a review. There's a reason I've followed her everywhere she's gone. I don't trust anyone else with my hair. She does my color and extensions and somehow nails it every single time. I get compliments constantly and people are always asking who does my hair. My natural hair is black and she got me this blonde (see photo) while keeping my hair healthy, which says everything about her skill. She's incredibly knowledgeable and, more importantly, honest. I always check with her before doing anything to my hair because I know she'll give me real advice, not just say yes to everything. She also does my 11 year old daughter's hair and is so patient and sweet with her, which means a lot to me. You can tell she really cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. If you're looking for someone you can trust long term, Kylie is it. I can't recommend her enough. read more

I've been seeing Kylie for the past 3 years (finally remembered to leave a review). I first met her when I had a Groupon for the previous salon she worked at. When she mentioned she was starting her own salon I immediately said I would follow her. Over the years I've had so many different hair colors via balayage and glazes. I've been light brown, dark blond and black/my natural color. She does it all and my hair always comes out beautiful! She gives amazing haircuts and blowouts and my hair looks great when she curls it. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and I always look forward to hanging out with her. I will continue to see Kylie forever. I have not had my hair done by Juli, the other stylist, but I've seen photos of her amazing work. I cannot talk more highly of this salon. If you need you hair done, you definitely need to check out Elite Beauty Lounge! read more

I went in with no idea what I wanted to do with my hair but I knew I needed a change. The stylist Maureen not only washed my hair thoroughly but she gave me the prettiest balayage. I can't wait to see what she will do for my hair next. I highly recommend her. She has a good eye for color and is very detailed oriented while providing proficient customer service!
