**Dog owners beware.** If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked an appointment via text after calling the number listed on Google. The appointment was confirmed for April 17 at 12:30 PM for both of my dogs. When I arrived on time, there was no receptionist or staff to greet me--just an unorganized front area. After waiting a few minutes, a man came out and asked if he could help me. I explained that I had an appointment, and he questioned whether I was at the right place. After confirming the address, he told me they were fully booked for the day and had no record of my appointment. He offered no apology, no empathy--just told me to come back another day. I had driven over 30 minutes to get there, and the entire experience was disappointing. The business appeared disorganized and unprofessional. Upon picking up my dog for a standard groom, she had these burns/bruises on her lower belly/legs. I've had dogs get a very slight razor burn before, but nothing ever this extreme - this is ridiculous. They are not paying attention to how close they are shaving, or the heat levels, or the blade is dull - or whatever the reason. This is negligence. My poor dog was traumatized. She was very quiet and withdrawn the rest of the night. Whether or not you think this was done on purpose or accident - I have owned enough dogs and been to enough groomers to where I have never seen the likes of this. And yes I spoke to them and was told they didn't see this, and sometimes "it happens" awhile after their groom. Again, owned multiple dogs and this is a first. Take your pet elsewhere for not only better care but also peace of mind. read more

They requested the necessary information to have a good understanding of my pet. They asked if they could put doggie cologne on my dog instead of just assuming I wanted it. Please educate yourself on CAGE DRYERS before sending your loved pup to this terrifying place who will lock your dog in a cage with a shop vac attached to it. You don't get fast, inexpensive AND decent results ethically. Cage dryers are dangerous and can be traumatizing to dogs. This place absolutely traumatized my pup. Decided to write this review after one month ... I was recommended this place from clerk at Albertsons... Walked in made appointment, place was busy , but didn't feel this place was that friendly, took my name , gave me appointment card ,everyone seemed rushed, and the reason I walked in to make appointment is because they don't answer the phone !, tried two days , no answer. So when I finally took my little dog ( mixed/chihuahua) and got him back , wasn't too happy with what they did for the price. $50 !... I told them I wanted his hair trimmed short but not to the point that he be cold being outside. He said he keep his face full round, ask if I wanted feet trimmed, said yes . I do have to say that they did a great job on his feet ! Never had someone do his feet so trimmed ... But that was as good as it got. Face ? didn't get his eye gunk off , didn't trim inside his ears , didn't trim under his belly, male parts , besides his feet ,looked like a total rush job!.... didn't even smell fresh . This is the most I paid for a haircut and you think you get more quality the price . Definitely will look for another groomer ! It's been 3 months later since this place butchered my poor little Emmie I often wonder if she will ever have hair on her tail again with the winter here in Boise she has to always wear sweaters iam takeing her to a Vet. To make sure her chest is clear. Guchi Pooch has said my dog was matted that is untrue before I moved here she was groomed every 3 weeks. I'm so relieved that Justin decided to take up the mantle and purchase Gucci Pooch. We've tried many places with less than stellar and/or upsetting experiences. Justin makes our not so purebred Shih tzu look cute/smell great (temporarily). I appreciate that he gets him done in a short period of time, as it is less stressful for our pup. read more

I have start with the unfortunate fact that I was told I would have to wait another hour after Being told I could pick her up followed by being hung up on by the owner , after questioning the status of the dog I was to pick up that very hour. With that being said , I have so many questions ; starting with how this is an acceptable business model ? When I went in to pick up my employers dog , was told I would have to wait yet another 20 minutes ! After nearly 4 HOURS of being there , The dog had immediately relieved herself on the floor from holding it in for so long , had bloodshot eyes , ( why We have no idea ? Maybe from the Shampoo ? ) and she could not drink enough water . These are not only important causes of concern considering she has an autoimmune issue but she clearly was NOT properly cared for . It seems beyond unprofessional to charge someone full price after not giving them a reason as to why it had not only taken so long , but why she was left in the condition she was . This is Someone's baby who was previously trusted under the care of this place . Very disappointed and wondering why anyone would bring their beloved animals here to be so called cared for after this encounter. read more

We found Gucci Pooch last year, and are thrilled that Justin is continuing to offer the great service he provides at the new location. They are so caring and loving at Gucci Pooch... the dogs LOVE going there every two weeks, and the pricing is amazingly reasonable. We have two toy poodles, and a Shizu-poodle, and they always look and smell amazing when we pick them up. I HIGHLY recommend this excellent groomer. read more

I brought my 6-mo.-old husky-poo in for a haircut, and they did a terrible job! There were still at least 3 clumps of matted fur, tufts of longer hair sticking up on one side of his head and on various places on his body, and they'd shaved around his eyes but left his nose long but with no transition. They also charged me $10 more than the price posted on the website. I called the next day to speak with Justin and he acknowledged that dogs under 50 pounds cost $55, and when I told him my dog weighed 43 pounds but I'd been charged $65, he said, "Well that is a large dog, and should cost $65, so we'll have to change the pricing on the website." He agreed to refund that amount and to let me bring my dog back to get cleaned up by another groomer. However, when I brought my dog back, they did a MUCH better job grooming him, but handed me his $25 leash (telling me my dog had chewed it in half while unattended in their care) in 2 pieces and didn't refund the $10. I sent an email a couple of days later asking for reimbursement for the leash I'd have to buy to replace that one (a very nice bungee leash from Zamzows), and for the $10. At that time I was told I was mistaken about the pricing and they wouldn't refund that. They did agree to reimburse me for the leash I bought, but refused to mail it and said I'd have to come into the shop. Best of all, they told me that my dog was not welcome to come back for haircuts with them! Wow. I suffer from anxiety and live 35 miles away, so at that point I got fed up and told them they could keep their money and I'd just let people know how little they value their customers. Bottom line is that my dog got a crappy haircut that wound up costing (including tip and replacing my leash) $98. These guys know nothing about customer service, and little more about dog grooming. read more

So incredibly disappointed with our experience here. We brought our dogs in for a full service grooming with the understanding that included a bath, grooming, nail trim, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, finishing cologne, and a cute bow/bandana to top it off. So cute! At first glance, our doggos looked adorable! Their cuts suited them well and the groomers listened to all requests made. They didn't come out with bows/bandanas or smelling fresh from the use of cologne but I figured I'd just let that slide. However, once we got home, I noticed our little dog still had mats under his legs and in his tail and some long hairs that didn't get trimmed around his face (we took care of these at home). In addition, our big dog clearly didn't get her nails trimmed or ears cleaned. I called the office and they graciously made an appointment for us the next day to bring the dogs in. This appointment was quick and the dogs left with a complete grooming or so we thought. About three days later, my boyfriend and I were cuddle up with the dogs watching TV when suddenly we smelled something foul. I sat up quickly which disturbed the dogs and where our big dog sat previously, was a small wet spot. One of her anal glands had expressed naturally onto our bed sheets meaning that had also not been taken care of at her FULL SERVICE grooming appointment. Needless to say, my dogs will never receive another less than mediocre grooming from Gucci Pooch again. read more
