First off let me start by saying, I found this place off of google due to its reviews. I went to get an oil change somewhere else who told me I had all these issues under my hood. When I brought my car to Jaime, he literally stopped what he was doing to give it a look. I had multiple issues with my car that towards the end it almost looked impossible to fix. What I appreciate the most aside from his time and labor is he explained everything to me thoroughly. What's under my hood, how it works, and why. I'm a younger mom of two and i honestly couldn't have told you anything other than how to change my oil (at least when it comes to under my hood) and now I feel confident when I pop my hood. Considering all of the maintenance and labor, all of the work was considerably affordable and Jaime always took care of me. All the work that has been needed (thus far) has been in the span of about 3 weeks or so. Every week he has dedicated time to my car and I. After the first visit he called me to speak about my car and follow up, and I appreciate that. He's got a right hand, Patrick, who is just as prompt. I appreciate them both. Jamie was closing up on a Friday when I pulled up to his shop. Literally locking up, but he noticed I was driving towards him and still offered to check the code to detect why my engine light is on. Unfortunately he doesn't work on Volkswagens, otherwise I would have gladly given him the chance to work on my car. It needs some work! He diagnosed the problem even knowing he wouldn't do the work, just to help me out! Not many ppl are going to stay open an extra minute to do that with nothing in return. Wow what can I say? I have a road trip at the end of the month and I have the very reliable Buick. But I wanted to make sure that it was safe for my son and I to drive to LA. I knew I had to get my brakes done because I was having an issue with some noise but I also wanted to get an alignment. I called a couple places this one being one of them but all of them were closed on Mondays so I ended up going to get a Diagnostics and possibly do the work elsewhere. Completely misdiagnosed my suspension problem. Told me I needed new leaf springs and air shocks. Spent $500 on leaf springs. The air shocks blew up in 10 minutes. HE RIPS WOMEN OFF!!! I was charged twice for same diagnostic problem in 5 months! My car was overheating and coolant leak in January 2019. He claimed he diagnosed and fix the problem by replacing leaky hoses (not specifying on receipt, which hoses) and coolant flush and charged me $665. 5 months later (and only driving the car a couple of times, car stays in garage) The same problem happened Overheating and Coolant leak again? He changed some leaky hoses and this time charged me $700! When I complained...he made lots of excuses instead of making good on his services!! I got a second opinion from the dealer and they confirmed this guy RIPPED ME OFF!! BEWARE! read more

We had the misfortune of having our car break down on the way home from Tahoe late in the day. In the middle of nowhere. And Fairfield was as far as we could get with 100 mile towing. So, in our panic, we had it towed to the Chevy dealer. Naturally, they failed to tell me about their lovely $142 diagnosis fee, which did NOT go towards repairs, and I got pissed. I went on yelp and found Jaime. I called him and explained the situation. He was great, helped me get the car towed from the dealer to his shop and called me all day long to keep me apprised of what was wrong with the truck. Even went to far as to tell us some other issues too and advise if they were worth repairing. Not being from Fairfield we could've really been taken advantage of by any mechanic. But not with Jaime. He was amazing through the whole process, explaining what he was going to do, what he did, what he recommended and what he would advise for future repairs. Jaime is an excellent shop owner who represents a good old fashioned Automotive shop. He is very fair and reasonable, explains all work and even points out future repairs that may need to be made, such as belts, battery cables, hoses etc. I haven't had very positive results with many shops but here you will find quality work, guaranteed services on repairs along with warranties that even provide free towing if for any reason something would go wrong. Expect quality work if he can't squeeze you in I'd wait on the repair for him. He isn't a hustler trying to make a dollar. Good mechanics should be busy, and that only further tells you everyone goes to him for a reason.
