This service call was a waste of time and money when Kristen took apart my washer she didn't put it back together properly. Now claims that it was already about to go out when I called them back to come fix it. I continued to get the run around and they weren't gonna come look at it because of her claim that it was going out. My nephew came and took a look at it and fixed the problem easily. So I took it out and simply put it back together! Don't know why it didn't work other that the thing probably just needed to be adjusted! Called verbal ass chewing! I bought a used GE fridge from these folks years ago. Suddenly the water line froze, and my home warranty company said it was a manufacturer defect and wouldn't do anything about it. I called Guaranteed (knowing that I was well out of their warranty period) and Kristen immediately identified it as a simple fix with a part I could come by and pick up and install myself for just a few bucks. It worked a treat for a couple more years, and I reluctantly called yet again. Once again, the owner did not give up and said she'd give me the same part again free as long as I promised to update them on whether it was successful or not. I ultimately (after experimentation) found that the freezer was just set a little too cold and that has mitigated the iced water line, so I returned the part to them unused. Needless to say, I've run out of stars to compliment them. I will purchase again without hesitation knowing that they will stand by their appliances, and charge reasonable rates to fix them if they have issues. read more

I called Guaranteed Appliances looking for a Speed Queen washer & dryer set. I talked to Beth & Kristin for several days trying to decide the exact model Speed Queen set that would work best for me. Wanting to be sure, I contacted Speed Queen and told them the same thing I told Guaranteed Appliance. Low and behold they recommended the SAME washer/dryer set. I decided on the Speed Queen TR5 that Guaranteed Appliances recommended. I wasn't sure I had made the right decision between the TR5 and the TC5 until I did the first couple of loads of clothes I washed! I have to say I LOVE this washer and dryer set. Beth and Kristin know what they are talking about, you can't go wrong with these girls. Their installer was AMAZINGLY professional, neat, and knew what he was doing! Paid $460 for a fridge less than a year ago only to have the fridge crap out. They diagnosed over the phone and said they would come 'look' at it for $100+ service charge. I asked them to work with me which they refused. I sent pictures to the owner via text message as requested to see if she would buy the appliance back. She asked me how much I wanted and I told her that I would like $300. I asked her to do right by her customer and she refused. Very disappointed that this bussiness operates this way. Someone mentioned them in a recommendation post and it reminded me of the horrible experience that happened with this lady. I'm surprised anyone would give this place more than one star. Bought a freezer. Thought it was a bit pricy, but was in a pinch. It came with a thirty day warrantee. It crapped out less than a week after the warrantee expired. Their policy is to charge $45 just to look at it and to then charge more to work on it. I opened the back, took a look and did some research online. The unit was clearly in no shape to have been sold to me in the first place. It was either the start or overload relay. I was able to get it running with a Supco part, which replaces all of the relays. I got it through Amazon, for less than $15 and was done with the repair in less than 10 minutes. Point is: don't buy anything here unless you're mechanically inclined, or you only need the appliance to run as long as the warrantee. read more

Do not go here! The owners are very unprofessional and extremely rude! Well, we purchased a washer and dryer from this place and 3 days afterwards the washer stopped working on me so we called them and let them know what was going on. Then they told us that they couldn't come look at it since they didn't deliver it. We would have to take them there to be inspected. After arguing with them for a bit they finally agreed to come take a look at it but if they didn't find anything wrong with it we would have to pay them $50. Wtttfff. -_- Then the lady arrives with a scowl on her face, slamming her tools around. Then she goes on to tell me, ''It's probably broken because you have way too much clothes in here!'' She starts grabbing all of my soaking garments and tosses them on the counter, splashing water EVERYWHERE. Including on my face and its running all down the counter onto the floor. She never asked if I had a basket to put them in or even bothered putting them in the dryer!! I tried to tell her that it was an appropriate amount of clothes for a 'heavy duty' washer. Then she starts asking me if I'M CRAZY. That made me so mad so we started arguing. My boyfriend tried being nice and apologized to her about it all and she started talking bad about me outside when she thought I wasn't listening. When she came back inside she proceded to yell at me and scold me as if I had broken the machine! Not only that but when we told her that we wanted our money back she told, ''You are NOT getting your money back!'' Then she tells us that its fixed and leaves. I started it up and IT FLOODED OUR KITCHEN. We had to call the landlord and I took pictures too. Ugh! Almost $400 &didn't even work. Awful, awful, rude owners. read more

Called these guys when we were in a bind... Our refridgerator freezer compressor went out, and I was home sick unable to do much... Called these guys, an Gabriel did a great job with me over the phone. The got me a fridge, reasonable price, delivered, installed within about 3 hours. Fridge has a six month warranty as well... I bought a refrigerator, washer, and dryer for a rent house about five months back, all with a six month parts-and-labor in-house warranty. Still no problems with the washer and dryer, but the fridge began icing up just at the start of a three day weekend. By Wednesday the owner of the business herself was out to make the needed repair, and at no charge because of the warranty. Bought a washer and dryer from them a couple years ago. Had a problem with the washer recently and called them for a in home repair. I would agree that it is a little pricey but also very convenient. Kristen arrived with a smile on her face and was very friendly. She quickly found the problem and repaired it, telling me the price of the item she would be replacing. Excellent service. I took my Kenmore washing machine in for a repair. There was an electrical issue, plus the hot/cold water wouldn't come out when the proper setting was selected. I took it in at 9am Monday morning and was contacted by 11am. It turned out to be my timer. They replaced the part and checked everything before contacting me on Wednesday. Pretty good turn-around. One drawback: it could have been a little cheaper. $45 just to look at it, then another $45 for the actual labor, plus the cost of the part. A little pricey. But overall a great experience with great service. read more

I have waited months to get a problem settled and they WILL NOT ADDRESS the problem that the owner/technician started working on my oven WITHOUT cutting power. She had been here 10 days preciously and cut power. I was told it was a simple fuse that needed to be ordered. When she returned she didn't bother to check power source OR notice the light was on in the oven thus blowing the entire panel out!! I have had it looked at and there is no way to repair it and an entire NEW oven is my only recourse. THEY REFUSE to return my calls or even discuss this. In talking about this incident with others I now hear many stories of very unhappy clients they have. I will continue to tell everyone I know about this situation. NEVER DEALING WITH THEM AGAIN AND TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW WITH EVERY CONNECTION I HAVE THE STORY. read more

Experience with this company was horrible. Called and explained problem with refrigerator. Diagnosed problem over the phone and had to order part. Said it would take a couple of days. A week went by and never heard anything. Called them to learn part should arrive tomorrow, sure enough it did, hmmmmm. Charged us $109 just to come to the house (service charge). Scheduled with Jay service time slot of 3 - 5 pm for a Friday evening. 3:30 no show, no call, or anything. Called Jay, he was rude to point of threatening to cancel service call. Later apologized for behavior stating he had been having a rough day. Kristen (owner) arrived at 4:15 pm. Upon removing door to replace seal, she stated it appears the cam may be worn out. I expressed concern of ordering seal (additional $135) when it may not be the problem. She agreed with my concern but replaced seal anyway. She needed to use our bath towels to keep door from scratching counter, our hair dryer to help seal conform and still wound up paying over $360 for 30 minutes work. Jury is still out whether problem has been resolved, waiting for "seal to set." Will not be calling them back, ever! read more
