I hired Guadagno Law, PLLC during a very serious and stressful time in my life, and my experience was deeply disappointing. I paid a substantial fee based on the expectation that I would receive diligent, informed, and reliable representation. Instead, I experienced poor communication, inconsistent information, and a lack of follow-through on important parts of my case. Throughout the representation, I was often told that evidence was being pursued from the city, but from my perspective that never actually resulted in meaningful progress. There were also serious issues with attendance and case handling. My understanding is that he did not appear at arraignment in my matter, and after I terminated the representation, a motion was filed that delayed proceedings, but he then did not appear for the related hearing. That added even more frustration and confusion to an already difficult situation. Another major issue has been the fee dispute. The written fee agreement described one arrangement, a payment receipt I received described a different refund calculation, and later correspondence referenced yet another hourly rate. After I terminated the representation on March 24, 2026, I repeatedly requested a full accounting of services and return of any unearned fees. Despite multiple requests and assurances that an accounting would be provided, I did not receive the full accounting I asked for. I also felt that the amount of work being claimed did not match my actual experience. Meetings were generally short, sometimes rescheduled, and overall I did not feel the level of service reflected the amount of money paid. Hiring a lawyer requires trust, responsiveness, and clarity. In my experience, those things were missing here. I am leaving this review because I do not want someone else to go through the same experience I did. My advice to anyone considering this firm is to get every fee term in writing, keep detailed records of all communication, and ask hard questions early. read more

Mr guadagno is very knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. He's very easy to understand. I wasn't able to hire him for what I needed because he doesn't do that but he had all the information that I needed and that most attorneys wouldn't even give to you freely. I was served with a civil action the day after Christmas, which created an extremely short and stressful timeline with two holiday weekends before having to appear in court. This was the first time I had ever been served with anything, and it came out of the blue following the end of a very short personal relationship. I had never been involved in anything like this before, so I took the matter extremely seriously and had a lot of anxiety about what to expect. Even before I formally hired him, Albert spent a great deal of time over Christmas weekend talking through my situation, helping me understand what was happening, and walking me through my potential options. That early time and attention made a real impression and helped me feel confident that he was the right person to help me navigate what was ahead. Once we moved forward, Albert helped me stay focused, understand the process, and advocate for myself during a very compressed and high-pressure period. He takes advantage and takes your money, but doesn't take your case. This lawyer appears to have received his Bar Card from a Cracker Jack Box. Talking like he knows the law, but in no real way taking the time to practice it. And if practice makes perfect, he certainly has a way to go to even attempt to seem like he is putting in any effort. Mr. G does not advocate for his client. He never met me in person to develop a relationship of raport or to better understand. He blows up quickly, becoming frustrated when you ask him to listen to understand your personal situation. Never once during a hearing did he come prepared with any notes or documents, hemming and hawing on the Zoom meetings, stumbling and paraphrasing while misspeaking and confusing the details of my case and what I put in much effort to be very clear. No real assessment of my case. He texted me about 10 minutes before each hearing to gather info and bumbled his way through off an inadequate memory. I'm floored by this lack of due diligence. His failure to submit any evidence on my behalf that easily would have vindicated me absolutely infuriates me. The ball he dropped, landed me in jail for things that I did not do and had an organized binder full of documents to prove myself innocent. Furthermore, while I was in custody I met another one of his clients who told me the same story of this lawyer simply ignoring evidence, video evidence that would exonerate him of all charges. Instead Mr. G decided to 'wing-it' again failing to present an actual defense, another lack of due diligence. A simple presenting of all the facts and documents to the court, as well as a quick verifying email or phone call would have saved me from sanctions and jail time, months of trauma producing stress and months of lost time with my child. I was instructed by new attorney friend of mine to file a bar complaint and seek further action. Per our contract he is still technically my lawyer. We both received an email from the Bar today. Mr. G wrote to me this... (attached as a picture) It was the only way to get his attention. I simply wanted him to shape up and do the job he was paid and contracted to do. There's no conflict of interest on my end. He is a lawyer and I expect him to do what lawyers do. Defend their client and consider all the facts and evidence and present it to the court on their client's behalf. Nope. Not this lawyer. Being it was a probation court and not a new criminal matter perhaps this lawyer set his expectations for effort low as he claims to know the judge personally, claiming he wrote the judge's recommendation letter for her to take the bench. He claimed he was working in the same court years prior and knew the system. An advantage he said. Dropping the ball every step of the way, cutting corners and playing with my life and livelihood.
