Instead, I experienced poor communication, inconsistent information, and a lack of follow-through on important parts of my case. There were also serious issues with attendance and case handling. My understanding is that he did not appear at arraignment in my matter, and after I terminated the representation, a motion was filed that delayed proceedings, but he then did not appear for the related hearing. That added even more frustration and confusion to an already difficult situation. Another major issue has been the fee dispute. The written fee agreement described one arrangement, a payment receipt I received described a different refund calculation, and later correspondence referenced yet another hourly rate. After I terminated the representation on March 24, 2026, I repeatedly requested a full accounting of services and return of any unearned fees. Despite multiple requests and assurances that an accounting would be provided, I did not receive the full accounting I asked for. I also felt that the amount of work being claimed did not match my actual experience.
