A good pick for anyone looking for a place to eat along Historic Downtown Newmarket. Made in Mexico…read morehas that homey, rustic charm that is sure to welcome anyone who comes inside. Parking is surprisingly abundant at the back of the establishment. The lady and guy server who attended to us were both pleasant. The food preparation time was also not that long for our order of fish tacos and a holiday special. Food was scrumptious and cooked really well. I also enjoyed the soup that came with our full meal. The restaurant is larger than it seems. Downstairs where the washrooms are, there is ample room which I believe can be used for functions or whatever else. Overall, this place is a gem which I would recommend to anyone visiting downtown Newmarket.

There's some on street but there's a large lot down some stairs behind the restaurant The place: They moved a unit or two away from their old location. So they're in the same area just not the same spot. It looks more like a restaurant now less like an office that serves food. Menu: Mexican stuff of course. Food's good there's a reason why it was featured on you got to eat here. I like the guacamole and the tacos. I always get the tacos when I come. Service: The waitstaff are always so nice and honestly will answer the stupidest questions with a straight face which makes me like them even more!! I'll be back this is a place that we go a lot with work folks

Made In Mexico - Flautas - the sauce on these was crazy good, but the dish was cold & soggy. Only the ends had a slight crisp. ($16.95)

This place is really great…read more Location: On main Street Markham but at the other end from where everything is. Almost at the corner of Davis drive Parking: There is on street parking. Parking on side streets and across the street there's a lot. The inside: It's small inside but comfortable. There's also a pretty cute balcony out back. Is a bar and they have some pretty interesting drinks and flights that you can get. There's also a kitchen that they rent out that you most definitely need to try.

The Sticks is a BIPOC and LGBTQ2S-owned craft beer brewery bar with a curated craft beer selection…read moreand small food menu. Located in downtown Newmarket, it's easily accessible by public transit (3-minute walk from a YRT Viva bus station) and there is parking right across the street. The interior is small and cozy. They also have a small patio at the back. The craft beer selection here is great. The "Fairweather" (contains Agua Fresca flower sour) has a pretty pinkish / light orange colour, and tastes a bit sour. "Bellwoods" (Mexican lager) has a bit of a honey aftertaste. "Halo" is good if you like pale ale. For those who want to try a bit of everything, they offer craft beer flight of 4 for $12 (good way to mix and match!). There is also Soju Bomb on the menu, for those who want something other than beer. Non-alcholic options include Shirley Temple, oat milk chai latte (cold), juices, and soft drinks. Water is free and self-serve at the back. Food-wise, they offer bar finger foods and snacks such as nachos, chips and dips (with guacamole), gyoza, spring rolls, and edamame. When we went, they had a special South Asian fusion menu (in collaboration with an Indian chef) that wasn't posted online. I believe this was limited time special menu. Selection included samosa chaat, tikki chaat, and masala which could come in a platter (with naan bread, biryani rice, and pico de gallo salad), poutine, or bowl. In both the regular and special South Asian menus, there were vegan and vegetarian options available. Great business overall - very inclusive (with gender-neutral washrooms), cozy and intimate atmosphere, and there are even board games and playing cards at the back (Codenames, UNO, regular deck of cards, etc.).
