Super happy with GTS Charter - the drive around Sierra Madre for the wisteria festival was efficient and the bus was well cared for.... but I was super bummed when I returned home and realized somewhere in the day I had lost my wallet.  However, someone found it during the bus cleaning and turned it over to management, who found my business card, called me, and then mailed me my wallet (since I live out of town).  I had more than $200 in there and was happy to see it was still there. We had a VIP event on campus where we wanted to shuttle guests from the nearby hotel to campus, then from campus to events around town. I'd requested a few quotes from various charter companies and chose GTS a) The quote seemed inline with the other companies (those that actually answered) and because my co-worker has used GTS Charter for a few student events. I always prefer a tried and true testimonial when venturing into things I haven't dealt with before. Overall, the experience was positive and I'd probably use them again. We had a little bit of a rocky start but then ended on a high note. The best part about this company was that their customer service is available at all times and really fast to respond. All of the drivers were great about communicating through their cell phones (which you receive the night before) so even when there were small issues, they were instantly available to assure me and resolve the issue. For example, on one morning, we had rain which as you know causes CA drivers to go insane and traffic becomes a bear to get through. So the shuttle was late and stuck in some major traffic (possibly even behind an accident) in addition to morning rush hour. We wound up having to improvise ubering people to campus. I talked to the company and before our guests had arrived to campus, GTS already refunded our money for that run and to be extra sure, they corrected and reassured me by having the next shuttles arrive 30-45 minutes earlier than our call time for the rest of the day and the next day. The rest of our 3-day event went smoothly. All of the drivers were professional and drove safely. if we had slightly different tips for how to get to a location - they were flexible. The service that GTS provided was perfect. We had a large group attending my daughter's college graduation. We were all picked up at my home. This took away all of the work and worry of driving heavy Los Angeles traffic. We were able to relax, conversate and catch up with loved ones. I chartered a mini bus to take our group of 22 (mainly 10 year olds) to celebrate my daughter's birthday party at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on 10/21/17. David was our driver and he was punctual, friendly, and professional. He was a joy. He let our kids blast their music on the ride all the way there and back and encouraged their singing. I was given a 34 passenger bus and it showed up clean and on time. It was comfortable seating, roomy, and fit all of our party perfectly. Stay away! If I could rate them at 0 stars I would! Their service is unprofessional and unreliable. They single handedly caused our wedding to run 45 mins late and were the laughingstock of all the guests due to their unprofessional nature. Just some of the issues we encountered with their service: 1. Drivers asking passengers to use their GPS to get them to the location (which they knew ahead of time) 2. Drivers driving with the door open, only closing when the passenger alerted them to 3. Drivers making lewd comments/jokes to the passengers 4. Drivers have no idea where other shuttles contacted in the fleet were at any given time - and no help from dispatch 5. Drivers telling guests other shuttles were on their way, when they were NOT. This, plus not checking that the guests on the shuttle were part of the correct party caused major delays in the event read more

I am writing this letter about my experience with this transportation service I used for my wedding rehearsal 7/3/2014 and my wedding day 7/5/2014. NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY! The following is what I wrote my cc to get my money back (I won, btw) Wedding Rehearsal 7/3/2014 The shuttle that showed up was NOT a 32-passenger shuttle, which I paid for and was confirmed that I would be receiving for this day. I ordered and paid for the 32-passenger shuttle to fit everyone in my wedding party in the same vehicle. My (now) husband and I treated everyone to dinner and drinks so I wanted to make sure we had a shuttle. The shuttle that showed up was a 25-passenger shuttle which forced me to kick 7 of my guests off the shuttle and drive themselves to the restaurant location. They were not able to participate in the drinks since they had to drink. I paid $100 per person at the restaurant and they were not able to take advantage of the drinks. I would have never ordered a shuttle if I couldn't have all my guests together. Wedding Day 7/5/2014 I had certain instructions to get my guests to my venue. The second stop - pick up guests at the Hampton Inn. This stop NEVER happened which forced guests to jump in their cars last minute and drive to the venue themselves. This defeated the purpose of having a shuttle and made my guests panic and almost miss me walking down the aisle at my wedding. 7/7/14 - I called and explained both situations to Simon, the manager of the company. He beyond apologized and assured me that this has never happened in the past, which is incorrect considering yelp reviews I have read. He told me he would call the dispatcher about 7/3 to verify they did send out the wrong size shuttle. He said he would track the GPS and confirm the driver never went to the second hotel, Hampton Inn on 7/5/2014. He said after looking into both issues he would call me back. 7/9/2014 - I tried calling Simon to follow up. Left message with employee, no call back ever happened. 7/10/2014 - I called the company, Simon wasn't at his desk. Left message with employee, never called back. 7/11/2014 - 12pm I called again, Simon was available to talk. I had to re-go over everything with him since he forgot about this. He said would call me back. 7/11/2014 - 4pm I called Simon again to follow up. He said he would refund me the money for 7/03/14 and it would take a few days. 7/12-7/20 I was on my honeymoon and didn't reach out 7/21/14 - Got back from my honeymoon and still no refund. I called and Simon wasn't available however Jeanette in accounting took the call. She explained they would never refund me for entire day of service. Simon wasn't there and she said there was nothing she could do. She suggested I should have had the driver make multiple rounds to the restaurant on 7/3 instead of telling some of my family members to take their own cars. Considering Jeannette did not know the schedule of the day I thought it was very unnecessary for her to make a comment like that. It would've set my event back by at least an hour or so and the whole event was only a few hours long to begin with. I told her I needed Simon to call me back first thing in the morning. 7/22/2014 - No word from Simon nor did he answer when I called 7/23/2014 - I called again to get a hold of Simon. He wasn't available and only Jeanette was who couldn't help me from the beginning. 7/24/2014 - Simon took my call and said he never promised me a refund of the full day. This was extremely frustrating since he was the one that came up with the refund amount. He said he would talk to the owner and get back to me about this however the owner was overseas and couldn't speak to me directly. 7/25/2014 No Communication from Simon or the owner. I tried calling however there was no answer. 7/28/2014 - I called to speak with Simon however he wasn't available. 7/29/2014 - I called and Jeanette answered. I asked her what the status was and she said I needed to speak with Simon and she didn't know the answer. However there was not way for me to get a hold of him 7/30/2014 - I called again (no one ever returned my call) and they said the refund was in the mail. I should have asked the amount. The next day I received a check for $30. I don't have any idea how they came up with that number. I still haven't cashed it since I am now going this route. 7/30/2014 - Simon answered my phone and said the owner approved the original amount that was promised back $456 and that they would put it in the mail that day. 8/7/2014 - I called to follow up with where the check is. Jeannette said it's still there since THEY DON'T HAVE A STAMP TO SEND THE CHECK. This was the last I had heard for them and when I contacted my cc about this. What an awful experience. I went through the whole process of getting a quote, giving them my full itinerary and contact information. Everything seemed great. After a full day of exchanging emails and thinking everything was taken care of, I got an email from someone who I hadn't spoken to before saying "Sorry, we are all booked for your date." Our chartered bus driver was very inappropriate and unprofessional for our business charter. He spoke about how he was poorly paid, how he did not claim his tips (and how he hoped no one on the bus worked for the IRS). He went onto complain about poltics and shared how his children were punished. Nonstop, he talked the whole way from Downtown LA to the LAX Airport. I wouldn't even give this place one star, however it wouldn't let me leave this blank. This company is the most unprofessional company I have ever come across. We used their shuttle service for our 4th of July wedding. It was a military wedding. The driver of the bus ( a short Hispanic man) was tipped by several people all night long by guests. At the end of the night the driver told my husband and I that he wanted more of a tip because he took his holiday off to drive us. Of course me being in my wedding dress and my husband in his military uniform we didn't have cash on us. He followed us in the hotel to get a $50 tip from my inlaws. A week later I noticed a charge on my card which I called about and was told a "tip". Wait, this man not only collected from people all night but also follows us into the Hyatt in Westlake to get even more of a tip and I have to pay him more?! I checked my contract and there was nothing on there that said this would happen. Simon the manager did nothing for me, swore he was refunding me the money in that moment and still two weeks later I've received nothing. I had to then call the credit card company to get my money back and they finally then sent me an invoice that they would refund it. I know my bank will take care of this but this company is not only scandalous but disgraceful. Any respectable company would refund the tip and even take care of some more of what you paid for the terrible experience. No one responds to calls or e mails here. Jeanette was always rude on the phone and never helped with anything. Save the headache and go somewhere else. Rant end. read more

Do NOT use them. We hired GTS to shuttle our wedding guests from the hotels they were staying at to our wedding venue. One of the minibuses didn't show up until about 45 minutes after it was supposed to and nearly caused a group of our guests to miss the ceremony (not to mention the fact that it was supposed to have made 3 roundtrips in the time before the wedding). After all that, they overcharged us for the services they provided. After calling to complain about the overcharge, the people I spoke to told me that their accountant was out of the office and that we would have to wait 2 weeks until that person returned in order to have the refund processed (this was already 2.5 weeks after the charge had been put on the credit card). And to top it all off, they were very rude on the phone, as if I were the one being ridiculous for asking that they refund the money they overcharged us before a whole month had passed since they made the mistake.
