I found George via Yelp quote. We had a broken recessed kitchen CFL light and he replaced six of my CFL lights with new recessed LED lights. His quote was the best amongst the different Yelp quotes we received, and his work was very quick and efficient. He finished the work in an hour, and it looked very good. He also arrived on time, which we are very grateful for because we usually have to deal with late service providers. Thank you very much, George, we will be a repeat customer and will refer you to our friends and neighbors! read more

George was absolutely fantastic and I can't recommend him enough. He's hard working and finished the job within the time and price quoted. Painting was not included but this is easy to finish on my own and was discussed ahead of time. He underbid several other electricians by a significant amount which more than made up for the paint. Two thumbs up. 10/10. 100% recommend! read more

George responded promptly to my inquiry, reviewed the job info, and provided a quote. He answered my questions, talked me through the installation options, and did the generator hookup (inlet, switch) the way I had envisioned. Other contractors wanted to do a more complex and expensive job instead of the more straight-forward and better solution. George did the work quickly and well. He explained the process and we tested the various circuits that I wanted to power with the portable generator. Everything worked as it should, and we now have backup power in case of earthquake or a PG&E outage. read more

George was fantastic. Just one day before the power outage he hooked up my generator and manual transfer switch which connected to my main sub panel in the house. When the blackout hit at 11pm I fired up the generator, threw the switch and my entire house was powered. I was able to cook, relax, watch the Warriors on my satellite tv, and stay comfortable while everyone else was dealing with no power. George did a great job, installation was clean and his price was extremely reasonable. Thanks George for a great install! read more

I contacted GTcomman on Monday, 1/30/23 and he came the next morning 5 minutes early (today) to take care of a dishwasher outlet issue, which apparently wasn't an issue. He checked everything out for me and basically just moved a circuit breaker so there wouldn't be further issues. I appreciate his honesty/promptness and also his price was very reasonable. I will use George's services again in the future I highly recommend his services. read more

Are you looking for an electrician? Someone knowledgeable? Reasonable? Legit? George is your guy! Seriously some of the other quotes I received on yelp were beyond crazy! They seem to just be preying on people. Stop wasting time, send George a message on Yelp, he will get back to you right away with a very competitive quote! Seriously, I have been having some electrical issue since we moved into the house, I have an EE background, but I am not an electrician by trade. I thought it was something with the main breaker coming into the house, thought it was something with the thermals and the hotter it got the less current it could handle the breaker was also not the right breaker for the panel. But Instead I'd just taking my money and just popping in a new breaker and be gone. George took the time to troubleshoot the electrical system. He went through each circuit one by one. He found two circuits with "shorts" but the shorts do not have a good enough connection to trip the breakers they are on, but summed up it was causing the issue. The one that really scares me is the oven! Since that is a high current circuit, so now I need to find an appliance repair man. The other was the doorbell transformer. George was really straight forward, answered all my questions to me (I am one of those people who want to know how everything works; I am sure it could also be very annoying) But George was a really big help, now everything seems fine. Also after everything was said and done he charged me less than quoted since there where no parts needing to be changed......well most likely the heating element in my electric oven. But I need to find an appliance repair person for that. Thanks again George! TLDR: This guy is legit, stop wasting your time, reach out get a quote. George is the real deal! read more

Electrician Excellence! This is my 3rd review for GT Comman. He has installed several recessed lights, several light dimmer switches, a new ceiling lamp, bathroom fans with lights, and most recently - a heat detector in my garage (for solar power wall install prep in my garage) with a new electrical panel switch for the heat detector. Why do I keep returning to GT Comman? Because he does a fabulous job at a very reasonable price, & is very customer service oriented. He educates me about the pros and cons of different options, helping me to make the best decisions regarding quality and price. After working with GT Comman, I keep returning to him because he has earned my trust. Electrician work is a service that if it's not done right, can cause huge problems. I don't want headaches. I don't want an electrician that will nickel & dime me. I want an electrician who knows his stuff, guides me to the most cost efficient options, and does his job consistently well. That's GT Comman! If you want the same, just give GT Comman a call. I know I will call on him again when me and my family need electrical work!!! read more

My request for an electrician was placed about mid-afternoon. George responded to my request within a matter of minutes. We set a time for him to stop by a couple of hours later (end of the day). He arrived on time and VERY quickly began assessing the problem. As it turned out, he identified 2 problems. Parts were required to resolve my issues and he said he would come back around 2PM the next day to complete the repairs. George arrived again on time and once more quickly made the repairs and cleaned up after his work. While all of this was very satisfying to me, the best news was that it was completed at a very reasonable rate. George was very professional and concerned with doing a good job and took the time to explain in layman's terms what were the issues and the steps he was taking to resolve them. I recommend this business and George without any reservations and will call upon him to assist on future electrical projects. read more

Thank you George for coming to fix the electrical in my mom's HVAC on a very short notice during the hottest day of the year. It was 110 degrees and the house was turning into an oven due to the HVAC circuit breaker tripping all the time. George fixed the issue and brought much needed comfort and relief to an elderly person. Thank you again, you saved the day! read more

Wasn't the experience I was looking for. I was given a quote before he came out, but when he came out and saw what he was in for, he tried to upcharge me for his service. Hell to the NO. His "attitude" lasted most of the day, and he seemed hesitant to do the work. He didn't come prepared, in the middle of job, told me "I have to go to Homedepot". WTF! 2 hours later, he returns, and seems to have everything he needs. After 6 hours of work, he seemed hesitant to CLEAN UP his mess - I was forced to tell him otherwise. Upon payment, his Credit Card machine was not working properly, and wanted Cash or Check - its not my problem your machine is not working. Finally, he got it to work, payment made, and he was on his way. No goodbye's or thank you's - unreal. Thanks for the low price, but not the crumby service. read more

George did a great job he was reliable on time and very professional I highly recommend him

George came to install track & pendant lights and did a fantastic job, he worked quickly but paid attention to detail and did a clean job! George did an excellent job hooking up a 240v EV Charger. This required work on our main panel, the addition of a new sub-panel and installing a 50A NEMA outlet. We did get multiple estimates for the work from different electricians and while his estimate was not the lowest, it was competitive and we decided to go with George since he came across as very professional and creative (in case the work does not go as planned) as well as trustworthy. The job took longer than originally expected and George stood behind his estimate and completed the work without compromising on quality. Will defiantly work with them in the future in case we'll need electrical work. read more
