Five Stars! Exceptional work from a highly professional team…read more I cannot recommend Formosa Electric highly enough! They stepped in to fix a highly problematic panel installation originally done by Tesla, and they handled the entire situation flawlessly. From start to finish, the team was incredibly knowledgeable, punctual, and professional. They took care of the entire city permit inspection process and coordinated seamlessly and efficiently with PG&E, completely taking the stress off my shoulders. Their workmanship is high-quality, precise, and clean. If you want an electrician that gets the job done right the first time, look no further than Formosa Electric!

We hired Formosa for an underground service upgrade from 100A to 200A. Before I made my payment, PG&E had already explicitly notified Formosa via email and provided an official design sketch detailing that a new utility pole would need to be installed in my backyard. Unbelievably, Formosa NEVER communicated this major change or showed me the PG&E design plan. I only found out when PG&E's construction trucks literally pulled up to my house ready to plant a utility pole in my backyard! I had no choice but to immediately cancel the entire project, resulting in thousands of dollars in non-refundable losses. Had Formosa simply passed on PG&E's notification when they received it, I would have stopped the project right then and avoided this massive financial loss. When I confronted them, Formosa claimed PG&E never informed them. However, I spoke directly with the PG&E Project Manager, who confirmed on the phone that Formosa was explicitly notified prior to my payment. When I asked Formosa to share their email correspondence with PG&E to prove their claim, they repeatedly refused. Their refusal to provide transparency speaks volumes. Furthermore, I only learned after switching to a new contractor that legitimate PG&E projects should be linked directly to the homeowner's PG&E account. Formosa never added this project to my PG&E account, intentionally or negligently keeping me completely in the dark regarding the project's true details and progress. Formosa has refused to offer any fair refund or accountability for their negligence. They hid a deal-breaking scope change, took my money, wasted thousands of my hard-earned dollars, and refused to stand by their work. Protect your home, your backyard, and your wallet--DO NOT hire Formosa Electric.

Unfortunately that did not happen, as the electrical appliances in my kitchen had no power No hot coffee for me. Enter Alley Electric. The office was closed as this happened on a week-end. Their message said that they would contact me on Monday. They did. Julio came out to the house on Monday and after checking the circuit breaker box and doing some tests on the inside outlets, quickly solved the problem. Julio was pleasant, very professional and smart. The cost of his expertise was very reasonable and he could have found ways to increase the cost but he did not. Needless to say I am very impressed with Alley Electric and I do not impress easily. Alina, the woman who with whom I spoke, was as nice as she could be, and I appreciate this attitude, especially in today's world. Alley Electric is an independently owned business, and I firmly believe that we should support these businesses if they deserve to be supported, and this business definitely deserves it. They have glowing reviews from others too. Phone: 510-573-0427 Email: Alleyelectric@comcast.net
