Whenever I have an appointment, I don't wait more than 10 minutes to be called in. The people who do the bloodwork here are incredible. No fishing around for veins, they know exactly what they're doing. I've never had an issue until my last visit where they forgot to test for one panel I had asked for. While I was annoyed about this (they blamed it on being short staffed), I decided it could wait for another 6 months before my next panel. I would recommend this office!

To get an appointment, I was directed to call the number I just dialed, or schedule something for MARCH 2024. So I re-dialed again at 4:08 p.m. and an automated service told me the switchboards were closed until tomorrow. I have no experience with the doctors, so I cannot comment on that aspect of the practice. But if you are looking for a practice that has easy accessibily - DO NOT choose this one.

My son's tests were borderline, probably due to having a cold. He suggested we come back to see if things cleared up on their own. We went in for a second visit, which unfortunately was scheduled after my son had yet another cold. He discussed the possibility of ear tubes, but didn't want to needlessly do the surgery if, in fact, my son's hearing issues were due to colds/allergies. Today was our third (and final!) visit with Dr. Lim. Everything checked out okay with my son's ears. I'm glad that Dr. Lim didn't rush to judgement and tell us that he had to have tubes. He let things clear up on their own. He was wonderful at making my child feel comfortable. We never felt like he was rushing to get to his next appt. He answered all our questions and made us feel at ease, too.

Doctors Lorena and Kevin Harvey opened Physicians of Family Medicine over twenty years ago, at their Oxbridge office. I do not know the exact year, but I have been a very satisfied patient for over twenty years. I have been extremely happy with her husband (Dr. Kevin) as my primary care provider for most of those years. When he retired, I was worried about getting another primary care physician and tried his replacement, Dr. Marshall. I was not happy with him and was told I might like Dr. Lorena better. The office staff was correct and I have been very happy with Dr. Lorena Harvey. She has seen me through many rough times and I have a great respect for her. I have a hard time scheduling appointments around my work schedule and they are always willing to work around my schedule to be sure I get the great service I desire and need. She works out of their Cloverhill office located at 13861 Hull Street Road, Midlothian VA. 23112. It is not exactly on Hull Street Road so I do not know how they got this exact address, but it is across from Food Lion and Burger King just off of Hull street next to Outback Steakhouse. Also, a quick note that if she does not have an appointment available when you need one, there are a number of other doctors in the office that may be able to fir you in their schedules, and their Oxbridge office is open on Saturdays for walk-ins, no appointment necessary. She kept talking in circles, repeating the same sentence 3-4 times, kept saying "uh huh" real fast in the rude and annoyed way, and would not stop talking and making remarks long enough to allow me to ask my questions. I had to sit in silence to wait for her to finish her wildly unprofessional rambling. I asked her at least twice to please treat me with kindness and that I was a customer/client. I ended up in tears, feeling worthless. l've never been treated in such a way. No respect or care. I love my doctor there and the front desk has always been nice. Billing department needs intensive training in customer service and soft skills. Not everyone understands billing, they should be able to help customers understand and not get upset so easily. I am still in complete shock over that call.

Maybe the other offices are better than this one, but you've been warned. To be fair I don't have any issue with Dr. Simmelink, unfortunately for him however he is responsible for his nursing staff.
