A couple months ago he diagnosed a heart murmur, ordered testing right away which resulted in me having an aortic valve replacement and as a result I am no longer short of breath and have way more energy than I've had in quite some time! I am extremely grateful to Dr Harrison for taking such expert care of me as well as friends whom I have recommended him to. He is thorough, conservative in treatment, does not push meds, he listens, is attentive, takes at least 1/2 hr or more with his patients, very knowledgeable, explains blood-work as well as anything else I may have questions about. Also, his staff is wonderful and they even answer the phone!!!! I'm very blessed to call Dr Harrison my doctor.

The physician assistants were unknowledgeable and very unprofessional and disrespectful to patients. The office was small but tidy.

Leaving us patients very little time to find replacement pcp's (doctors)and then a lot of us have to find pain doctors on top of this is outlandish. I knew it was going downhill when my doctor said he could no longer prescribe me my benzodiazepines or the company was going to fine him. That's really messed up. I had been on Xanax for years. It took me almost 4 months to find a psychiatrist to prescribe them for me. This company brought in very unknowledgeable PA's who didn't know how to do prior authorizations. As a former registered nurse I wouldn't take my animal to these people.

It's hard to verbalize, but you'll know exactly what I mean if you choose to see her. That's exactly how my experience was--people told me about her and I couldn't understand what they meant, but when I saw her the first time, it all made sense. Her nurses are downright rude to top off her complete lack of emotion or genuineness. I've heard that, despite the negatives I mentioned, she knows her stuff, but she's not what I'm looking for. She's a bit too cold for me.

I have several chronic medical conditions and have been going to Patient First which isn't the best for someone like me. I was looking for someone who could give me all my prescriptions etc. Dr. Cella spent about an hour with me - she talked to me, took a full history, and I got a physical with lots of extra bloodwork because she wanted to test my vitamin d levels as well as screen me for celiac disease based on what my symptoms are. She was really nice and I walked out with 2 prescriptions for my insomnia and my anxiety disorder, as well as 2 referrals for an allergist and a dermatologist. Her office even made the appt for me for the dermatologist before I left. I'm excited to find a good PCP. The office is located behind JW hospital in the medical office park.

I will have to take it for pretty much FOREVER to regulate a blood pressure issue (vasovagal syncope). Asked to schedule the appt w the FNP. Turns out she left the practice last December. Ok, that's fine.. whoever is available as this should be a simple check up. I was told that I had not been seen since last June, and that my rx should have been denied after the FNP left the practice. Well, I haven't been sick enough to need a doctor (I'm self pay, so unless I'm on my death bed, I'll figure it out), and CVS had the rx for a year and there hasn't been an issue. I was told that the current Drs of the practice weren't accepting new patients at this time. I asked how that information applied to me as I have been going there for 8 years Basically, no one will accept an appt to see me there and I have about a week to figure it out before the medication runs out So today, on my one day this week to rest, I get to go up to urgent care and explain all of this.. HOPEFULLY, they can look back into their records and see I have listed this medication every time I've been there in the past and prescribe a month's worth until I find a new doctor. I'm completely blown away that this is an ok thing to do... not once was I notified my prescribing Dr had left, that I needed to schedule an appt with someone still IN the practice, or that I needed to begin looking for a new Dr. And the woman on the phone asked if I was calling about ADDERALL (with annoyance in her voice). No, ma'am.. it's ATENOLOL, and if I go without it long enough maybe one time I won't wake up after a fainting episode I'd say "DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE", but they wont actually see you anyway, so... ‍
