I tried a number of OTC applications that were ineffective and was unable to take NSAIDs. Unable to drive I phoned in a request for a prescription to help me and was very pleased by the quick response I received by Dr. Pendyal. The weekend was fast approaching and the pain was constant, so I was concerned about getting the help I needed. The quick response was much appreciated giving me validation I had a good and caring primary care physician.

This review is for the LAB office next to the elevator in Chesterfield Family Practice suite 201…read more I came in for labs a couple of days ago and got bruised up as a result. I had labs done over two dozen times and have NEVER been bruised like this. The needle went in so hard, it shocked me a bit. Be mindful where you go to get your blood drawn is all I'm saying. Choose wisely.

Dr. Lim is fantastic. My 4 y.o. son had a hearing screen at school that raised some red flags. When…read morewe took him to Dr. Lim, he examined his ears, along with having someone do a hearing test. My son's tests were borderline, probably due to having a cold. He suggested we come back to see if things cleared up on their own. We went in for a second visit, which unfortunately was scheduled after my son had yet another cold. He discussed the possibility of ear tubes, but didn't want to needlessly do the surgery if, in fact, my son's hearing issues were due to colds/allergies. Today was our third (and final!) visit with Dr. Lim. Everything checked out okay with my son's ears. I'm glad that Dr. Lim didn't rush to judgement and tell us that he had to have tubes. He let things clear up on their own. He was wonderful at making my child feel comfortable. We never felt like he was rushing to get to his next appt. He answered all our questions and made us feel at ease, too.

From signing in to taking a seat to being called to register, taking vitals and having an x-ray, I interacted with five professionals. Every one of them had an attitude... A great attitude! This place was like an ant farm with every room taken. I continue to be very appreciative of every one of them that chose this profession. I wish people would take a little bit of time and be thankful for what these folks have trained and studied and practiced to do what they do... Help you get better!

Dr. Lorena Harvey, wife of retired Dr. Kevin Harvey, has always been a very cautious and caring…read moredoctor. Doctors Lorena and Kevin Harvey opened Physicians of Family Medicine over twenty years ago, at their Oxbridge office. I do not know the exact year, but I have been a very satisfied patient for over twenty years. I have been extremely happy with her husband (Dr. Kevin) as my primary care provider for most of those years. When he retired, I was worried about getting another primary care physician and tried his replacement, Dr. Marshall. I was not happy with him and was told I might like Dr. Lorena better. The office staff was correct and I have been very happy with Dr. Lorena Harvey. She has seen me through many rough times and I have a great respect for her. I have a hard time scheduling appointments around my work schedule and they are always willing to work around my schedule to be sure I get the great service I desire and need. She works out of their Cloverhill office located at 13861 Hull Street Road, Midlothian VA. 23112. It is not exactly on Hull Street Road so I do not know how they got this exact address, but it is across from Food Lion and Burger King just off of Hull street next to Outback Steakhouse. Also, a quick note that if she does not have an appointment available when you need one, there are a number of other doctors in the office that may be able to fir you in their schedules, and their Oxbridge office is open on Saturdays for walk-ins, no appointment necessary. Again, I am extremely fortunate to have her as my Primary Care Physician. Steven "Randy" Brooks

I have no complaints with my doctor, or the care I have been given, but the billing department this time changed the coding and now I am being charged for my procedure (not covered fully by insurance). Same procedure I have had every time, but this time coded differently. I was not informed in any way prior to my procedure that there would be charges involved due to different bill coding. I really think when you are going to be charged $1000 plus, you should be informed prior! So, be prepared, their billing department is there to find a way around insurance to get $$$$$ out of your pocket!!!

She kept talking in circles, repeating the same sentence 3-4 times, kept saying "uh huh" real fast in the rude and annoyed way, and would not stop talking and making remarks long enough to allow me to ask my questions. I had to sit in silence to wait for her to finish her wildly unprofessional rambling. I asked her at least twice to please treat me with kindness and that I was a customer/client. I ended up in tears, feeling worthless. l've never been treated in such a way. No respect or care. I love my doctor there and the front desk has always been nice. Billing department needs intensive training in customer service and soft skills. Not everyone understands billing, they should be able to help customers understand and not get upset so easily. I am still in complete shock over that call.
