The Grumpy Goat is a place that I've long heard about, but have yet to try until now! It's directly on Harbor View Rd with plenty of parking in front of and nearby. We went on quieter Friday night, which was actually nice as we were able to be seated right away and had our pick of a table on their outdoor patio area. As for being a local, this place hit the spot. Food options are very reasonably priced with nice delicious portions, enough to satisfy anyone's appetite. We order the guacamole and chips to start, followed by their rice bowls with shrimp and a side of their noteworthy brussels sprouts with jalapeno bacon, which I'd absolutely recommend! Service was good overall and we were happy to see they are very family and kid friendly. Pro Tip: Do yourself a favor and order a margarita as soon as you sit down, you'll be glad you did! Guten Appetit!

This was just an average experience for me. I was a bit annoyed to hear another server mention that happy hour was going on, yet our server didn't let us know. She also didn't check back very often. I did enjoy the guac and queso. The chips were also warm and fresh. The salsa and shrimp taco salad were mediocre at best. Just not a lot of flavor. My boyfriend said his tacos were good. The goat decor was cute and made me smile. I personally wouldn't go back.

Sadly disappointed with this place. The food looks better than it tastes. Had a lively bar scene and the service was excellent- but I wouldn't go back.

Blackened tuna taco was to die for - perfectly seared and flavors were on point. However despite being 1 of 2 tables in the place, our tacos took around 40 minutes to arrive. It seems they were pushing out lots of to go orders instead of the orders for customers in the restaurant. Goatarita was extremely sweet. All around good food and great prices though. Maybe we'll just order to go next time

The waitress was just okay, but the bigger issue was the quality of the dishes. We ordered calamari, fried green tomatoes, and mussels everything tasted like standard frozen, pre-prepared food. The mussels were the best of the group, mainly because of the sauce, which had decent flavor. For entrées, the redfish was overcooked and covered in a heavy sauce with no clear flavor. The fried flounder had almost no seasoning which is surprising for fried fish. The cheese grits were disappointing, with cheese that wasn't even fully melted, and the collard greens were overly heavy with pork fat. Drinks were watered down. Overall, aside from the welcoming host, the experience fell flat. I'd skip this one.

But luckily I was craving seafood when I left Hyams, so I decided to to give CudaCo a shot. As soon as you walk in the door, you can tell it's not your typical seafood market. There's a room of wines for sale, beer, and a few dining tables. Then there's the fresh catch display case... And I must say, their selection is consistently great. The quality and freshness is top notch. And they usually have some hard to find fresh catch. What makes CudaCo stand out from other markets is that you can pick your desired catch from the display case and then have them cook it to your liking. Everything that I've had was literally foot stomping good. And to add to that, they also offer frozen seafood, premade dips, and many other items in the freezer section. I'm a huge fan of CudaCo and I'm mad at myself for taking so long to give them a shot.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly. We accidentally forgot to update our reservation from 6 to 7, and the staff was incredibly patient and kind while waiting for a table that could accommodate our group. They made us feel so comfortable and even let us enjoy a drink in the waiting area while everything was sorted out. No stress at all. Once seated, our server was fantastic. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and more than happy to give recommendations, which was much needed because everything sounded amazing. They even played along with our Christmas party raffle games, which made the night extra fun. Such a cool, welcoming vibe. For appetizers, we shared the lemon ricotta dip, the Dippin' Shrimp, the spinach artichoke dip, and a spicy Caesar salad. Everything was absolutely delicious. For my main course, I ordered the pecan-crusted chicken with a side of Brussels sprouts, and wow. Phenomenal. Huge portions, incredible flavor, and we were all stuffed by the end. The cocktail menu looked exciting but we decided to skip drinks in lieu of dessert. For dinner my wife ordered the pecan fried chicken and I ordered the prime rib melt. The toasted cherry sauce was creamy and very tasty. I found the prime rib melt good. It unfortunately was a bit bland overall with the au jus being a bit too watered down. Overall though I think the food was good. For dessert we had a creme brûlée that was top notch. I'm glad we got that instead of drinks. Our server and the other service staff were attentive and quick. I drank a lot of water and didn't have to wait long for a refill. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and explore some other dishes.
