I can't say no to Jamaican cuisine, especially jerk chicken. So when I saw this food truck at the Dream Food Festival in NJ, I didn't hesitate to hop on line. I ordered their signature jerk chicken cheesesteak sandwich ($22 including tip). I waited awhile to get my order, but figured it would be worth it. At $19, I expected the sandwich to be huge. Nope... it was on the smaller end and underwhelming to say the least. There were way too many onions and not enough of the jerk sauce. I expected more of a spicy kick, but that was also lacking. we attended the glenside food truck festival this evening and placed an order for chicken wings. It took a half hour to get our order from the truck...after waiting for 20 plus minutes i noticed that an order of wings had come out of the fryer and an order hadn't been called in over 10 minutes. I went up to the truck window to ask if our order was up and the staff member said "oh no one called out these orders?" . There was no apology or responsibility taken. Our wings were cold when we received the order and not enjoyable. There was clearly zero sense of urgency and a lack of communication among staff members. At $12 for a sandwich, it was on the pricey side for a sandwich, but I did enjoy the jerk cheesesteak and thought it was flavorful and well seasoned. Definitely say yes when the cashier asks if you'd like onions. They basically make or break the sandwich because most of the jerk flavor comes from them. The only recommendation I would have is for the chefs to balance the seasoning more because I didn't taste any jerk flavor when my bite had no onions. read more

Had no intention of checking this place out cause 1) I'm not a big cheesesteak fan, 2) jerk chicken usually doesn't impress me, and 3) prices seemed high for a food truck. But the pictures on yelp looked good so I decided to try it. The jerk chicken cheesesteak is a good sandwich. Probably among the better jerk I've had - moist, flavorful chicken with a kick, not overwhelming. Bread is soft, cheese is cheese. At $9, a bit pricey for a regular lunch, but competitive with the other cheesesteaks in the city and justifiable if you're craving one of these. A few days later, I found myself out of cash so I ended up here again cause they take credit and I really wanted to try the jerk chicken mac and cheese. Again, it was solid - not large, but just enough to get you full cause of the abundance of cheese, flavor was good. Again, $8 could be $6 or $7 for amount of chicken you get. He was taking a break and we got to talking about Jamaica and recipes for adding carrot juice and stuff to stout to make brain food. Their food is seasoned SOOOO WELL. I order from Uber eats right before they were about to close and the chef even added extra protein and sides for me. I had to thank them via IG, TWITTER and now YELP because they're so worthy. I git the Jerk Salmon, 7 cheese Mac & Cheese, Cabbage, and plantains. The seven cheese mac is very good and the jerk chicken is spicy just like it should be but the greens are fucking Glory greens that you get in the supermarket they need to make real leafy collard greens instead of being lazy and serving canned greens. Glory greens have too much juice in it just like their greens and too minced up. The rice and beans needs to have some spice added to it. it tastes too bland. if you want the rice and beans make sure you get some jerk sauce over top of it to add flavor read more

I agree, the young man who served at least makes the place warrant a 2- he had great customer service. Went to the Philly wingfest today and tried their wings for the first time. Had the Olympic torch and chicken and waffles. Hands down the best wings of the event. Perfect heat in the torch made my nose run lol and the spice did linger for a min or two but def a great flavor not just a punch of heat.
