5 stars for Kristy and H.A.R.D…read more 0 star for Mega Math. They are a scam. We signed up for the EV3 robotics with embedded programming camp this week, the instructor 's name is Megha Salpekar. She is unprofessional and no manner. The class was unstructured and was not teaching in a classroom setting. She just put the Lego and laptops on the floor so the kids will have to work independently. However, no scope of project or theme was given. It's all free build. My son has never taken any programming class so he doesn't know anything about it. So he keeps asking the teacher questions about how it works. After "too many" questions asked, she scream at him and told him to go back to his seat and do his own stuff. He got frustrated because the teacher was not helpful and not provide any guidance, so he play video games for 3 hours. He said the teacher said it's okay to play video games because it's summer time. After learning the situation on the first day, I talked to Kristy trying to find a solution and then I also went to talk to the teacher on the second day. She was showing me the program that they use on the laptop. After asked my second question trying to find out how the class was structured, she started to get mad and yell at me. She seems to get annoyed pretty easily and have no patience with kids or parents. She's already not teaching and when you ask "too many" question, she will yell at you. Please avoid at all times. Most of their classes in H.A.R.D were cancelled. Now I know why. So their class was just to provide the laptop, software and Legos. Then she gets angry if you ask question. For $330, why don't I just get the stuff at home and we can play it for longer than a month! We have spike prime at home and my son enjoys it too and do not need to get yelled at.

I am very dismayed because this specific rock formation is the best one on the trail. I hope the camp people stop having painting activities for the children outdoors because the picnic tables, the new bridge foundation and now "painted rock" look terrible.

Really nice campus with lots of play area and greenery right next to a church and Montessori. It is secluded and safe. Always felt safe sending our child here. When they resumed activities after being shutdown during the height of Covid, they maintained strict mask mandates, sanitization habits and social distancing. This was actually quite effective and is evidenced by the fact that their first Covid outbreak happened within a month of getting rid of the mask mandate, which was few months after kids vaccines were available. All staff are kind, nurturing and respectful. There was a change of ownership in mid 2022 and the new owner Seema is very enthusiastic and is determined to ensure the school performs at its best in all aspects. They are open to feedback and constant improvement. We also like the mix of kids from a variety of ethnicities giving our daughter a chance to develop friendships beyond racial and cultural differences. We have seen a lot of teacher churn over the 2 yrs but luckily all replacements have been able to maintain the quality. We wish the allergy standards are more strictly enforced in potlucks or parent sponsored birthday foods. All major holidays are celebrated well, so there is good community building and the weekly newsletter and updates on ProCare app are great. We will miss sending our daughter here. A great place for anyone looking to kickstart their kids education.

Like LOVED IT. I am writing this at the end of the week because my son was demanding I cancel next week's camp somewhere else so he can go back to Cometa. They have great hours, well-planned days with lots of opportunities to learn and practice Spanish, daily outings using their vans (the outings were very fun for our kiddo), and home cooked meals and snacks. Our kid did the "cooking" week and he was truly transformed by it. I think the staff did a great job choosing simple recipes that were delicious too and were very patient and caring during the lesson. Everyday they made something new and that was super fun. We are so happy with the staff, they were very professional and child-centered, and exuded warmth and a sense of belonging for the little ones. We plan to come back next summer and for other camps during the school year. They do aftercare too, but we're based in San Leandro so that doesn't work for us. Nevertheless, their afterschool program sounds really wonderful too.

We speak both English and Spanish at home, but my kid wasn't really picking up much Spanish until she joined. Since then, her Spanish vocabulary has grown tremendously. She really loves going and always looks forward to it. Plus, the school pick-up has been super easy with no problems at all. We also participated in their summer program and loved that the kids were getting exposed to different settings like a ranch and my child loved seeing chickens and horses. I'd definitely recommend this program to other families!

For after school, our child loves it. They don't usually want to go when we pick them up. They play with the other kids indoors and outdoors and do arts and crafts . There is a time where they can do their homework. The staff is all very caring and helpful. And the pricing seems very reasonable and it includes afternoon snacks. Summer camp was also great. Snacks were included, but lunch was not. There is an option to pay for hot lunches once or twice a week. Our first year, it was a little confusing how to get in touch with them by their website. But once we connected, things were then fine. They have updated their internet presence and have their payment system. With these things on top of them just being very well run makes them a great place to send out child.

I think my kids would rather spend their whole day here instead of going to class! They provide exactly what we need for our before and after school care needs. They even provide breakfast and snacks. They have a designated homework time after school too. My son has had a more difficult transition with starting Kinder, and Kidscare has been great about communicating how his days or mornings were, and they've worked with his teacher to help with the morning transitions. It's become a lot easier, and I'm thankful for their support. One of the most important things to me though was knowing my kiddos can be there and get a hug if needed. It's more important for me that my children have a warm and comfortable environment for their care above all else. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the tuition rate isn't very clear online and it's a bit high for the hourly with two kids, but you do what you gotta do to make it happen!!! They've been very accommodating with our whacky schedule and they're great with communicating on their end.
