Raising 2 young kids during Covid was super stressful to say the least, but Olga went above and beyond to ensure the safety of all the kids in the daycare. She never cut corners or took the easy way out. And that's how I would summarize her attitude towards all of her work: she is very honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and caring. She genuinely delights in the kids and does her best for them. We never had to worry about our kids when they were in her care. We trust her with them even more than we trust some of our own family. It is amaze how two hours a week can make so much difference. My kids were in the Cantonese class. America Chinese school probably the only one that offers Cantonese classes in the Fremont area. The thing I like about this school is they have classes all the way to high school level and you might be able to use it for school credits. Learning Chinese is a long process and it takes time to master it over time, so it makes sense to spend few hours a week to learn it over time. Moreover, the students feel heard and understood so there isn't a lot of time wasted on misunderstandings. During the lessons, Jasmine always stays focused and gently keeps my daughter on task. While most languages can be learned through an app or book, the tonality of Cantonese is VERY important. Are you saying horse or mother, the number four or dead. Tones matter so having a teacher to give you feedback right on the spot is so valuable. I went back to school and still work my full time job so I don't get to have as many lessons as I want.
