This is the first school that my daughter attends after only staying home for a very long time (due to COVID and we are very cautious). First time we tour the school was right before COVID. We were about to enroll after touring plenty of school nearby (including the expensive one @ Alameda) and then got the stay at home notice. So we decide not to enroll. Moving few years after, I came back for a second visit to see how they handle the situation. Glad to see that the environment was very clean and health conscious, same or even better than our first tour. We like how they enforced the mask requirements, stay home if you are sick until no fever after 24 hrs, washing hands, etc. Also glad to be able to observe that all kids didn't have issue with wearing their mask (we're talking about 3 yo and could be very difficult). First day of school, my daughter was so excited that she runs to the classroom without saying goodbye to me. She was so comfortable because she made friends during our short visits prior to first day of school. School has a great balance of play time, art time, story time, and even language learning time. My daughter loves making art and bring one everyday she goes to school. Teachers are all amazing and very kind. It is nut free school and they notate all allergies that the kids have. For the last 2 weeks attending Rainbow Room (before moving to Dino Room), she was able to learn 2 words in Cantonese, which she stills remember months later. She also still remembers all the Spanish words that she learns previously. We're sad to say that my daughter will have to leave soon to attend her 2nd school, but glad to hear that some of her friends will be coming with her to their new school and continue to building their friendship. Our Future Tots is a caring, nurturing preschool that has helped our children thrive. A friend recommended the school to us, and from the first time we toured the school I knew we had found the perfect place for our two kids. When I toured Vicki, the director, said that they hope to instill a love of learning in their students. It has worked! Our family's experience: Our older child, who was previously enrolled elsewhere, has completely shifted his perspective on school. He is bubbling with enthusiasm for the projects he brings home, he loves his teachers and classmates, and he is feeling confident about Kindergarten. My younger is in the 2-3 year old class, and has been making strides with counting and recognizing numbers, with potty training, and fine motor skills. She has a buddy in her class who she adores, and she loves to play with her sibling on the playground. The communication from the teachers and staff is excellent. I get daily updates at pick up about what is happening with each kid. Overview: The school is play based, which means the kids learn through play. The teachers are very creative and thoughtful in coming up with fun activities to support learning. The classrooms have big windows, high ceilings, and the walls are filled with art projects. There are lots of different activities that are available to the kids, set out in different stations around the classrooms. The play yard has a huge climbing structure, lots of bikes and push cars, balls, they play with bubbles, and there's a shady spot to rest on hot days. Beyond learning through play, they also pay attention to the social and emotional needs of the children. For instance, I know my son sees his teachers as a resource in navigating problems with friends. Additional info: They have full time and half time (8-12) options. Lunch is eaten at school for half day kids, and children can even pack a breakfast snack for school. Naptime is offered after lunch for full day kids. Drop off is easy and the parking lot is safe. They're reasonable about Covid protocols (masking, hand washing, etc are encouraged), and minimize exposure by having parents wait for their kids outside the entrance. We feel so fortunate to be part of the OFT family. I have zero reservations about this school. In fact I feel lucky every day my kids walk through the front door because I know they're being supported, loved, and nurtured. The staff at Our Future Tots are not only teachers and providers, they are also family. Our two daughters have been a part of the OFT family since 2016 when our 7-year old started attending at age two. They were excited to be at the center on their first day and every day thereafter. We Love our future Tots daycare; our daughter has been going to their daycare for a year now and she loves it. They have been a blessing to us. Ms. Vicky and her staff members are awesome. They are very professional and communicate well. It's amazing how all of them know each child's parents. Even when you are wearing a face mask, they know who you are. After only a couple of months of our daughter attending their daycare, she came home singing the ABC's, another time she woke up counting. This makes us happy because our daughter is speech delayed and we have noticed that her communications skills has gotten better since she started attending their daycare. She also started potty training shortly after she joined their daycare and within 6 months, she was fully potty trained. They also provide snacks and they are a nut free day care. My son spent 3 years at Our Future Tots. He had the opportunity to be a part of each of the classrooms. He was potty trained there within weeks of starting in the Busy Bear class. The teachers there are so nurturing towards the children. This school was the start of our first preschool experience and I am so grateful we found Ms. Vicki and the teachers at OFT. Knowing that they truly care for the kids helps put my mind at ease while I am at work. My son is now in kindergarten and we recently had his first parent/teacher conference. So many things we love about Our Future Tots that it's hard to know where to begin. The teachers are all so caring and attentive. Their affection towards the kids is very genuine and we feel that our son is not only well taken care of but also very loved. He's always excited to go to school (as he calls it), and that in itself says a lot about this wonderful place. Ms. Vicki and her staff do a great job of making sure that the kids have a diverse set of activities keeping their young minds fresh and stimulated. For holidays and other special occasions, they do an amazing job making these days extra special for both kid's and parents alike. The growth and development of the kids is second to none. The entire staff is amazing with a special shout out to the Dinosaur Room teachers, Ms. Christina Marie and Ms. Celeste. Our child has attended since age two in the Busy Bear Room and has grown and learned so much. From art to letters, counting, and being in a classroom in general, they cover it all. Our child has recently graduated with the staff holding a special social distance graduation which we really appreciated. Even under the circumstances, the staff has been so wonderful and we felt safe having our child return for a little while when OFT was able to safely reopen recently. Thank you for everything you've done for our family, Ms. Vicki and the staff at OFT! We will miss you all! A side note about allergies. This a peanut/nut free school. Our child has a severe food allergy and we have never once felt unsafe here. I have sent my older daughter (Alexandria) to other daycares and home daycares but when I finally settled down on a place that made my older daughter happy it was at Our Future Tots. I have also sent my younger daughter (Maya) to Our Future Tots and she loved the teachers, the curriculum, and story time. My younger one started in the busy bear room she was allergic to eggs and Ms. Michelle and Ms. Stephanie did a great job taking care of her and her needs. We never had an issue. When we were in the rainbow room with Ms. Mari and Ms. Laura they always had a smile on there face so happy to see my little one. Ms. Mari told me when my youngest daughter was fully potty trained. It was so amazing that they helped my younger daughter become potty so quickly. When we moved into the dinosaur room with Ms. Christina and Ms. April they are amazing so patient with all the kids. They always have a art project, or science project or reading stories or singing. My younger daughter really blossomed in this class. She would always come home letting me know what they did in class. Ms. Vicki is a great director. Anytime a class need extra help she would jump right in and help out. Anytime I called or emailed she would get right back to me. I have referred so many friends to bring there children to Our Future Tots and everyone that I have referred loves them. Searching for the right preschool can be overwhelming but we were instantly put at ease when we found Our Future Tots Learning Center. We have enjoyed three years there and with kindergarten on the horizon, we are very happy with the decision we made. We feel like our child has been learning and thriving in a safe, inviting environment with great teachers and kids. Each year has been a learning block that prepared our child for the next step, and ultimately the pre-K class which does a fantastic job of preparing kids for kindergarten. It is incredible to watch the kids grow together and I love when my child shares something new that was learned during the day. There is a good balance between learning and fun, and there are events during the year that parents get to be part of and enjoy. It is a secure feeling that the same director/teachers have been there every year - they work together very well as does the entire staff. Important items are taken into consideration for families and as a parent, you will receive information to read and sign items regarding sunscreen, allergies, etc. Let me share a little bit of each stage: the first couple of weeks can be difficult when kids begin preschool, but the teachers are pros and know how to help kids through the transition. Before we knew it, our child was coming home with artwork, talking more and more, singing songs, playing contently with toys (alone and with other kids), and developing a new sense of confidence and improved social skills. During the second year at Our Future Tots, we could see language improvement, our child sharing stories about the day, more artwork that involved more skills, showing an understanding for shapes and letters/numbers, even more confidence. I was noticing that the kids are encouraged to be courteous to one another and say please and thank you, wait their turn, etc.; we practice at home, but it was wonderful to see good habits carried over at school. The pre-K class is an incredible period of growth. We see our child improving at writing letters, sounding out written words and learning about new letters/numbers each week. Also, instead of "what?" when asked a question, I get a more polite, "yes?". We see improvement with important social skills like paying attention when others speak, practicing patience and waiting in line, understanding right and wrong, expressing oneself verbally. Our Future Tots is just a wonderful place and experience for preschoolers. The rooms are clean, decorated, full of toys/activities and learning tools, and the kids share a playground. There is a balanced structure for each level that includes learning time, nap time, lunch and snack time, and play time. My daughter attended OFT for years, she started as soon as she could, when she turned 2. She went through the 3 different classrooms OFT offers. Kids move through the age appropriate programs that ultimately put them in the PreK program. Each year her growth was dramatic. The most important growth for my daughter was her socialization. She grew greatly in confidence and how to make friends. She made so many best friends that she still talks about today. The PreK program was outstanding. They worked with her and she was easily doing Kindergarten level work before graduating the PreK program (without being pushed to do so.) She loved being there every day, there were never any complaints, it's a fun, stimuating, wonderful atmosphere for kids, and the teachers have been there for years, and you can tell how much they love every single one of the kids. Ultimately, after finishing PreK, we tried to get her into the most competitive school in San LEandro, that had 2 times as many people applying as there were spaces. She got in because they tested her and saw she was more than prepared to handle the academic and social rigors of the school. I give OFT immense credit for preparing her for the next step. If you want to give your child a great start, I highly recommend OFT. When I first was looking for places, I was highly disappointed by the quality and safety of the various available programs. OFT is extremely safe and clean, and your child could truly not be in better hands when they're not in yours. read more

Our Future Tots Learning Center... Where do I begin? As a parent it is important to find a place where you feel comfortable leaving your child all day. For my family, that place was Our Future Tots. My son attended OFT from the time he was 2 1/2 to 5 1/2. He came home every day happy and proud to show us all of the beautiful things he had created in class that day. The staff will forever have a place in my heart (and my son's as well), they have given him a strong foundation to build upon in his years to come in Elementary School. The skills he learned in the Pre-K program are things that his Kindergarten teacher was amazed that he already knew. My daughter was enrolled at Our Future Tots starting at 2yrs old through PreK. Let me just tell you this is a fantastic school! Ms. Vickie has a great team of teachers that care about the kids. There are three classrooms each tailored to meet the needs of each age group. They have schedules that includes regular arts and crafts, story time, and tons of hands on activities. Update: I recently had my first Parent-Teacher meeting with my daughter's Kindergarten teacher. Not surprisingly, she is excelling in every subject. I am extremely grateful for both of our kids attending Our Future Tots. Ms. Vicki, and all the teachers are absolutely wonderful! They teach with love, guide with patience, and model kindness and grace. How I wish I was a kid attending this school! OFT feels more like an extended family, everyone is so warm, welcoming, and inclusive. They teach that everyone in the school is a friend and I love that message. Our kids are shy and quiet, and it is remarkable how they have blossomed under this nurturing setting. Our son recently performed at the graduation ceremony, dancing and twirling in an Elvis costume, and singing in front of over a hundred parents and families and he was not one bit nervous or scared! The transformation he has undergone has been remarkable! Our daughter comes home singing in Spanish, telling what her friends had for lunch, and proudly showing off her art projects. I absolutely LOVE Our Future Tots. My daughter first attended OFT as soon as she turned 2. She had no prior experience going to a daycare or even a babysitter....so the attachment issue was a major problem. She would cry and cling on to me when I would drop her off. Every time she cried it was so hard to walk away, but each and every time one of her teachers were always there to comfort her. Even after I left the room, they continued to give her attention to make sure she was okay (I was one of those moms that crept in the hallways to watch or listen if i could). The attachment issue continued for a while because she was only attending 2 full days a week. Ms. Vicki suggested that I should have my daughter attend more often to help get into the routine so we had her attend 3 full days a week instead and boy did that make an immediate difference! Her first time attending for the 3rd day that week, she wasn't crying and even waved bye to me! Im so glad Ms. Vicki suggested that and knew exactly what my daughter needed. My daughter is now on her 2nd year at OFT and has graduated to the next classroom up from the youngest class. Enrolling her at this daycare is one of the best decisions we've made her her so far. She has learned so much and is so happy to be there. Throughout the years, here are a few challenges that I had with my daughter that OFT was able to support and teach my daughter: -In the beginning, my daughter did NOT like taking naps at school: the teachers allowed her to do quiet activities during nap time. As time passed, they got her to agree to lay down for nap time until eventually she started taking naps too! -Picky eater: my daughter went through a phase where she wasn't eating all of her lunch that I packed her. She was more consumed with playing and her classmates. Her lunch was barely getting touched and when it did, she was only eating the fun stuff like her snacks. Now, she is taught to focus on her lunch during lunchtime and snacks are only allowed afterwards or at snack time. You have no idea how happy I am when she eats all of her lunch! I've also stopped by during lunch time on a few occasions and its SO ADORABLE to see how all the kids are properly sitting at the table and they're all eating their lunch. Like...actually eating and feeding themselves and talking to each other quietly. Why can't I get them to do that at home? I am not going to throw out any teachers name to tell you how AWESOME they are because I can genuinely say they are ALL SO AMAZING. Each and every one of them have shown so much patience, care, and love to not only my daughter, but to all the kids there. My heart is so full every time I see them interacting and teaching. About two years ago, I was interested in touring this place for my daughter, because we live close by. They never returned my call and I was in a hurry to find a preschool. Some might think this is a harsh review for a place I did not actually enroll in or even visit, but I was so disappointed that they did not call me back, and felt it was a sign of how they feel about their customers/business. I have 3 children, all of whom have attended or are currently attending Our Future Tots. My oldest son, who is currently 8 years old, was originally enrolled in a local Montessori preschool when he was 3 years old. My husband and I were unhappy with the teaching style and lack of socialization there and that our son was not progressing the way we hoped he would. OFT was strongly recommended to us by a friend and we transferred our son there as soon as we could and we couldn't be more grateful that we did! We immediately saw progress in our son's learning and improvements in our son's socialization skills. The teachers definitely made learning fun and our son would bring art projects home daily. Our son was more than prepared for his Kindergarten testing and immediately got into the school of our choice due to the foundation that OFT was able to provide for him. In addition, Our Future Tots always makes an effort to put on fun holiday celebrations for the kids and their families, including special visits from the Easter Bunny and Santa, as well as a pumpkin patch and Jumpy Houses on Halloween! Our Future Tots is such an amazing school...there was no question that we would enroll our future child(ren) here. Our middle son, who is now 6 years old, started in the Busy Bear Room when he was 2 years old and progressed to the Rainbow Room, and then moved onto Pre-K at his older brother's school only out of convenience...he loved his teachers and every day he spent at OFT! Our daughter who is currently 3 years old, currently attends OFT. She started in the Busy Bear Room with Ms. Michelle, who by the way, is amazing with the little ones! I truly don't know how she handles all those toddlers on a daily basis! Ms. Michelle helped to potty-train both my middle son and daughter. My daughter is currently in the Rainbow Room and looks forward to going to school. She absolutely adores her teachers, Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Mari! The Director, Ms. Vicki, as well as all the teachers at OFT are, and always have been, very accommodating, nurturing, and amazing with our children. I've recommended this preschool to many of my friends with young children, who often have been put on a waitlist because of the high demand from parents wanting to enroll their kids here. OFT is truly one the of the best, if not the BEST, preschool for your little ones. My son, now 7, attended OFT since he was 2 1/2. My daughter, now 3, attends now. Mrs. Vicki and her staff of wonderful teachers are so caring and great with the kids! It always puts my mind at ease knowing that my kids are under care with teachers who love what they do. When my kids first attended, I noticed a possitive change in just the 1st week. With all the hands on teaching and learning with the teachers and even with the director herself, I knew that this was the perfect school for my kids. OFT is very well organized too! We get a monthly calendar of different activities that the kids will be involved in. Numbers, alphabets, words, and reading are just to name a few, but they also learn about healthy eating, manners, sharing, and all sorts of fun activities that helps them become a little more independent. We are definitely blessed to have found OFT. I've visited a few places before deciding on this place and I'm glad I did. This place is safe, clean and most importantly, great staff. My first son already graduated from this place, now my second son attends here and eventually, my third son will in the next year. The staff is wonderful and they help with your child's needs. Every week, there is a theme the kids learn about and there is artwork everyday. They have a spacious yard, each age group has their own individual classroom and with age appropriate toys. Parents - if you're looking for a top quality preschool that provides a great learning environment and lots of tender loving care, look no further. Our Future Tots is a wonderful place. My oldest son started here when he was 2. He's now 4 1/2 and headed for kindergarten. He will be the youngest kid in his class, but Our Future Tots teachers made sure he was a ready as the older, more mature kids. I am starting my younger son there on his 2nd birthday. There are 3 classrooms depending on age, maturity, and if your child is potty trained or not. That's another great thing about the school. They work with you and your child to help with potty training. Very few preschools even take kids when they're still in diapers. The kids learn from the other kids and get potty trained very quickly. They just love the little toilets. They're not those plastic things we have at home. They are just shrunken down versions of a regular toilet. The teachers are firm yet loving. They make the transition from daycare or home to preschool very easy for children. The kids learn so much from the socialization aspect of being in school as well as so many of the things they are going to need to know to be successful in kindergarten. They keep the parents involved by talking to you each day about your child's day. They also have events at the school for holidays and special occasions where the parents can come and enjoy the party too. I'm very thankful for everything Ms. Vicki, Ms. Daphne, Ms. Kadam, and Ms. Crissy have done for my son and our whole family. Give them a call. Get a tour of the school. This place is great! Miss Vickie and her staff are some of the most caring and loving people we've met so far. They're great with the kids and our little Boogz always has a great time. She's grown into her own person so much more compared to another daycare she was previously at. The teachers respect your choices and requests here and are extremely understanding. They have events for the kids on holidays, which is great. My daughter has been learning fast here and I can tell that whatever curriculum/program they have or do helps kids get excited about learning. If your child has food allergies, I do not recommend Our Future Tots. Both of my children with multiple severe food allergies have had incidents at this school regarding their allergies, although the school was aware of the severity of their allergies. My oldest son, who was three-years-old at the time, had a life threatening allergic reaction while under the supervision of OFT. He went into anaphylaxis and required the use of an Epipen and ambulance services. I decided to keep my son at OFT because I believed he would be safer there versus another school since they witnessed the severity of his allergies and understand from experience how food allergies could mean life or death for a child. However, that was not the case. Two months ago, my youngest son, who is three-years-old, started school at OFT. The school hosted a Halloween party where food was being provided. I noticed that my son's allergies were still neglected from the Allergy Alert notice posted in the class, therefore putting him at risk. Families are invited to the event and thankfully I was able to attend. During the party, another parent shared that her child's allergy was listed incorrectly on the Allergy Alert notice. It's imperative that all staff is aware of all of the children's allergies, especially on days where food is being provided. I was very concerned and frustrated especially because this was the second time that my children's allergies have been neglected at OFT. I shared my concerns with the director of the school, Ms. Vicki. She shared with me that the Allergy Alert notices are her responsibility and it was her error. Although she took responsibility for her mistakes, corrected the issues, and had a plan in place, she was very unapologetic. I shared my frustrations and concern of being assured that my child will be safe when I drop him off at her school and she showed no compassion or empathy towards me, my child, and our family. Because Ms. Vicki did not even acknowledge my feelings regarding my son's safety at her school and for the fact she updated the Allergy Alert notice twice since my child enrolled in the school, neglecting him each time, I withdrew my son from the school immediately. While I love the teachers at OFT and that they provide the children with a great foundation for learning and help them build self-confidence and learn positive social skills, I must put my child's safety first. It's critical that I am able to trust whoever I leave my children with. I do not trust that Ms. Vicki genuinely cares about my child and as a result, I do not trust that she can address my child's needs adequately; Therefore, I do not recommend Our Future Tots for children with allergies. If I could give Ms. Vicki zero stars, I would. read more

My son attended this school for nearly two years and there isn't enough good things I can say about this school. The staff are top notch, caring, knowledgable, always striving to help improve your childs education. The facilities are kept super clean and in order. My son who graduated this year and is in kindergarter misses his old preschool so much and always wants to go back and visit. They treated him like he was one of their own, like family. My son is almost 5, and he's been attending Our Future Tots since he was 3. All the staff are wonderful! Whenever I have questions or concerns, they respond to me right away with detailed info. The director, Ms. Vicki, sometimes replies to my emails even on weekends or during her vacation. And I greatly appreciate that! The staff did a great job when my kid moved up to a different class. They were patient and tentative, and my son adjusted within a couple of weeks. He looks forward to going to school every day! read more

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Where to start?! I am a returning parent at OFT and can't thank them enough for the way they have cared and care about my children. You absolutely get way more than what you paid for. They potty trained both my son and daughter, there was a small extra charge but I didn't have to put any effort into it and was able to enroll them right at 2yo each... so very worth it!!! Nurturing environment and staff that are really caring, professional, funny, and trustworthy. They all have made lasting memories for my children and helped build their self-esteem. On the academics part, the structure definitely makes a difference in future learning, my son who's in 4th grade is at 6th grade level math, which he loves because of the games he learned at OFT pre-k program. My 3yo baby comes home spelling her name, singing songs and "reading" books to her older sibling. If you need a place where your kids will be safe, well taken care of, and start developing social and academic skills, OFT is the place to take them. read more
