    1st day of school
    Nate S.

My 3yr old son has been coming here since April of this yr. At first, it was emotionally, a hard transition for both us as parents and for my son, but the school is very welcoming and made it smooth and easy. Teachers here know very well how to handle kids of all ages specially teacher Zeb. She has a way... a gift... of how to calm, discipline, teach and play with them in a way that kids can easily follow and learn. My son loves going to school, he is learning a lot and blends well with the other kids. They have daily schedules whic include circle time, dance and sing, arts and craft, snacks, nap time, outside play and they even learn other basic international languages. Our plus for us is that my son is not quite potty trained yet and they help and encourage him to use the toilet to pee and . I highly recommend this school... they are safe, clean, trustworthy and effective.

Letters, Numbers, colors, shapes...that the kids are learning.

I'm a working mom, and we all know what it means to be away from our little ones . We feel fear or uncertainty when we leave our kids to somebody else. Well, Learning Clock -Montessori school, gives me the feeling that the staffs are trustworthy and kind. You can see it from those kids that goes to school there. They are happy, affectionate, and active. I highly recommend this place for your kids.

She has come home with surprises such as telling me the days of the week in Spanish and talking about rules. Most importantly she enjoys her days here and talks positively about how Ms. Estela chases her on the playground or helps her with tasks. Ms. Estela gives good feedback and works on my daughter's weak points to help her become a more well rounded person/ student. She is very accommodating and even take time out of her schedule to meet our schedule needs, which we truly appreciate Though we just started our time here, we've had a positive experience, and I'm confident in the care and education Ms. Estela and I'm sure the other teachers provide. The mom friends we made also speak highly of Ms.Guadalupe. The kids follow rules, my daughter reiterates the fact that the teachers including Ms.Karina don't allow sugary snacks as the kids will go crazy, and encourage healthy eating and orderly conduct. I honestly need a place for like this for my unruly daughter and I'm glad it's a good balance for her!

We previously withdrew our older son because we were repeatedly made to feel that he "didn't fit the mold" due to being high-energy. There were also inappropriate insinuations that he may have been on the spectrum, despite no diagnosis or professional basis for those comments. Hoping for a better experience, we considered enrolling our younger son because of how much we appreciated the teachers. Ms. Karina opened the conversation by saying, "I want to cut to the chase, is he the same as his brother?" We found this comment disrespectful, judgmental, and unprofessional. Most disappointing was that we did not feel her approach reflected the mission or values of Montessori education, which should emphasize respect for each child as an individual and support different learning styles and personalities. Every child deserves to be approached as an individual, not compared or labeled from the start.

The director, Ms. Sarah, has been so incredibly helpful and an absolute godsend. As a parent of twins, the loading and unloading assistance (from Ms. Sarah & Ms. Martha) has been extremely helpful, especially since parking can be tricky at times. My girls were also bumped up a class after the winter break , but while in room 4 Ms Howeida, Ms.Reina & Mr. Martin were all wonderful and played an instrumental role helping our girls transition from home to daycare. Their warmth and patience made all the difference, and we are so grateful for the foundation they built for our girls. Overall, I've truly seen how much my girls have grown while there. It means a lot to me that they're given opportunities to interact with other teachers and experience different classroom environments, which really helps ease transitions. I'm just so grateful for the care, structure, and support that has helped them thrive here.

Lily is ending the year with flying colors--it didn't come easy, but with the loving guidance of her teachers, she has blossomed into a confident, well-rounded, and independent student. As parents, we've never had to worry about how she's doing because we trust the strong foundation the school has built. We've seen it before with her older sister, which is exactly why we chose the same path for Lily. For families considering Montessori, it's important to understand that the learning doesn't stop at school--it continues at home. The partnership between teachers and parents makes all the difference. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Amelia and Mrs. Sarah for the 3.5 years we entrusted our last baby to you. Because of you, Lily is ready for what's next--confident, curious, and unafraid to speak up, ask questions, and think outside the box. We will truly miss all of her teachers. I'll miss the daily stories Lily would come home and share, and hearing how much she loved her teachers (especially the hugs). But I know those bonds don't just disappear--they stay with her. Montessori San Leandro will always hold a special place in our hearts. We will continue to recommend this school to our friends and even to strangers. Thank you for being such an important part of our girls' journey and for helping shape them into who they are becoming.

This is why I am so thankful to have found MBMS when I was searching for that "good school" for my kiddo. I wanted a school where there wasn't hundreds of kids where my kiddo would be just another face in the crowd. I wanted a smaller school that truly welcomed and encouraged diversity. In addition, I wanted a school that reflected a warm and home like setting with a solid educational program. I was so frustrated in my search that I was ready to just give up, quit my job, and try homeschooling (which I felt I couldn't do). Then I ran into a friend who suggested I go see this obscure little school she discovered while hiking on one of the hiking trails in the East Bay Regional Parks. This is when I took her up on her suggestion and called MBMS. After getting so many voicemails, answering machines, and no answer phone calls, I was surprised when the director actually answered. We spent the next hour or so talking about parenting, education, and life. Having a person to actually talk to me rather then trying to sell me something put me at ease with this difficult and very emotional decision regarding my child's first school. When I toured MBMS with my child, I knew I found the little "gem" my friend told me about. We found that home we were looking for. The teachers and directors are always available for short update phone chats if I have a question or need advice. I would give MBMS 10 stars if I could. Thank you so much for being there for my family.

First time we tour the school was right before COVID. We were about to enroll after touring plenty of school nearby (including the expensive one @ Alameda) and then got the stay at home notice. So we decide not to enroll. Moving few years after, I came back for a second visit to see how they handle the situation. Glad to see that the environment was very clean and health conscious, same or even better than our first tour. We like how they enforced the mask requirements, stay home if you are sick until no fever after 24 hrs, washing hands, etc. Also glad to be able to observe that all kids didn't have issue with wearing their mask (we're talking about 3 yo and could be very difficult). First day of school, my daughter was so excited that she runs to the classroom without saying goodbye to me. She was so comfortable because she made friends during our short visits prior to first day of school. School has a great balance of play time, art time, story time, and even language learning time. My daughter loves making art and bring one everyday she goes to school. Teachers are all amazing and very kind. It is nut free school and they notate all allergies that the kids have. For the last 2 weeks attending Rainbow Room (before moving to Dino Room), she was able to learn 2 words in Cantonese, which she stills remember months later. She also still remembers all the Spanish words that she learns previously. We're sad to say that my daughter will have to leave soon to attend her 2nd school, but glad to hear that some of her friends will be coming with her to their new school and continue to building their friendship. Definitely will miss OFT crews and will recommend OFT to family and friends.

My son had been going here since November of 2024 and we have had incident after incident. He was 2 when he enrolled and full of energy. There would incidents of him coming all covered in dirt and wet pull ups by the time I picked him. I addressed it the owner would say it would be addressed and it would for a few weeks then back to the same thing. Then, he came home with bumps and cuts that would not get reported to me. Had meetings and the owner finally moved him from the care of one of her older workers. Long story short, it did not work out for my son, so I brought him back to Bubbly Tots in August 2025. It's almost been 3 months since he's returned and he has had so much success thanks to the wonderful staff and the amazing structure and activities they provide for the children. I cannot thank Ms. Soni and her ENTIRE team for welcoming us back with open arms! My son shows an increased interest in writing, coloring, and loves going to school. He even looks forward to doing his homework! When we were gone for almost 8 months, he would still ask for his Bubbly Tot teachers (especially Ms. Maria). They have truly made him feel loved and cared for. On the weekends he asks me if he is going to school because he misses it. That alone tells me that they have made a huge positive impact on my son. His current teacher, Ms. Carolyn is amazing with my son has taught him humility, kindness, and instilling confidence in him. Words alone cannot express how grateful I am for Bubbly Tots. The area is so convenient, policies are very straight forward, they care about their children and families, and I always feel super comfortable dropping off my son to school, which is sadly rare to find in preschools and schools nowadays. Thirdly, the EBM team is incredibly easy to reach out to whenever we have questions about our children or the school. Ms. Sithy, the director, is also open to suggestions and always strives to improve, creating the best school and environment for the children. Lastly, we appreciate the monthly newsletter, which provides us with valuable updates from the teachers about the topics and subjects they are teaching our children that month. Our children seem to learn new things constantly, but they also maintain a healthy balance between their studies and playtime. They have developed excellent social skills and make friends easily at EBM. Both children started as timid and shy, but they have learned to overcome their shyness and make friends.
