My son had been going here since November of 2024 and we have had incident after incident. He was 2 when he enrolled and full of energy. There would incidents of him coming all covered in dirt and wet pull ups by the time I picked him. I addressed it the owner would say it would be addressed and it would for a few weeks then back to the same thing. Then, he came home with bumps and cuts that would not get reported to me. Had meetings and the owner finally moved him from the care of one of her older workers. But, the last straw was when one of the workers changed my son in front of the door where the parents pick up for anyone to see and on top of that his brand new shirt was ripped that same day like an animal attacked him without a report. read more

It's crazy to me that many preschools in the San Leandro area have no reviews. But Bubbly Tots definitely gets 5 stars! My son started in July 2024. Unfortunately, we made left in November 2024 because I got a new job in the ECE field and was able to take my son with me. Long story short, it did not work out for my son, so I brought him back to Bubbly Tots in August 2025. It's almost been 3 months since he's returned and he has had so much success thanks to the wonderful staff and the amazing structure and activities they provide for the children. I cannot thank Ms. Soni and her ENTIRE team for welcoming us back with open arms! My son shows an increased interest in writing, coloring, and loves going to school. He even looks forward to doing his homework! When we were gone for almost 8 months, he would still ask for his Bubbly Tot teachers (especially Ms. Maria). They have truly made him feel loved and cared for. On the weekends he asks me if he is going to school because he misses it. That alone tells me that they have made a huge positive impact on my son. His current teacher, Ms. Carolyn is amazing with my son has taught him humility, kindness, and instilling confidence in him. Words alone cannot express how grateful I am for Bubbly Tots. The area is so convenient, policies are very straight forward, they care about their children and families, and I always feel super comfortable dropping off my son to school, which is sadly rare to find in preschools and schools nowadays. Nothing could have prepared my wife and I for the sheer level of incompetence from Bubbly Tots. We placed our daughter here because of the lower price and less demanding expectations of a Montessori we checked out before we moved to the Bay Area from San Diego. That was a mistake. Perhaps our expectations were too high after experiencing a daycare that was communicative, caring, fun, full of varying activities, and allowed our daughter to thrive. That's not too much ask, especially when this daycare far less kids to watch over. From day one, there were problems. I don't pay a second rent for my three year-old to watch Cocomelon while waiting for breakfast. The workers never got my daughter's name correct. Whether I dropped her off or my wife picked her up, someone was pronouncing her name incorrectly until the day we took her out. I dropped her off one day and sometimes my daughter has a bit of trouble separating, so she wanted a second set of hugs and kisses and when my daughter expressed that, the worker visibly and audibly sighed in frustration. I was boiling inside when I saw that. Every worker there except one of the morning shift staff looked like they wanted to be anywhere else. They barked orders at the kids standing in one spot in the room like they were drill sergeants. What's the difference between a diaper and pull-up? They should know, but multiple times my daughter, who doesn't wear diapers, was found in someone else's diaper, and even more extraordinary, she sometimes had someone else's diaper AND her undies over that diaper. Also, my daughter verbally expressed her displeasure to me one morning on the way to daycare by simply saying, unprompted, "I don't like this school." The only reason I'll give Bubbly Tots one star is because of the daily videos and pictures they uploaded to the Procare app. Otherwise, this "daycare" isn't worthy of any stars. read more

Our son has been attending Bubbly Tots Learning Center for 1.5 years and it has been an amazing experience. We felt so welcomed from taking our first tour of the school and meeting the teachers to our final days. He was 2.5 yrs old, shy and reserved, and the teachers worked with him to make him feel comfortable and happy in the school environment. We noticed a big difference in his development, becoming more outgoing, talking more, and coming home with multiple new skills each and every week. He learned his ABC's, shapes, color, and numbers. My son absolutely loves this daycare. He's 3 years old. He's learning a lot and is being social. All last week he kept saying his numbers 1-10. He knows his numbers, colors, and abc's thanks to the lovely teachers here. He leaves with a smile everyday. As a single parent that shares 50/50 custody it was a relief finding a daycare during the pandemic that would take my child part time so I could work. Everyone communicates and if I have any concerns or questions they make sure to provide answers. Recently they had a Christmas performance and it was wonderful. I've been holding on writing this review because Ms. Soni is alright, and the only reason for a second star but the school itself is awful. We only had our daughter there for a short time as it was our only option. Here are a few of our issues (regarding an 18mth to 2yr old): 1. Really bad rashes, do not change diapers on a regular basis and when they do - they do it very haphazardly to the point where they would give her hot spots from the diaper rubbing oddly. We had one rash that was so bad we had to get an antibiotic to heal it. 2. They will not let you into the school to see what is going on, despite this being the law. I specifically mentioned this to one of the teachers and she still would not let me in to see my child. 3. My daughter was sobbing at drop off one day, I saw her through the window - she was alone in a room for several minutes before a teacher came in, at which point the teacher looked directly at me and closed the blinds on me. 4. They do not remove the kids coats and let them sweat in them all day - despite asking them to remove the jacket. 5. There is literally no visibility into what is going on during the day, no end of day reports, nothing. 6. Language skills in the teachers are lacking - not many fluent English speakers. 7. I am pretty certain they were letting the kids watch TV during the day, for example - Cocomelon is banned in our house, yet my daughter kept asking for it. She hasn't since we left the daycare. 8. I picked her up most days at around 4pm, she was coming home starving as soon as we'd get in the car she would ask for a snack. It doesn't seem like they were feeding her enough, she hasn't asked for a snack after daycare since she moved. 9. My kiddo is incredibly social, and at the beginning she was asking to see the kids and was excited to be dropped off...after a couple of weeks she would scream and cry when we had to go to daycare. 10. They have a nice outdoor playground, but would report that the kids were only outside for 10 minutes a day, if at all. (I threw a fit and started getting daily reports - at least most of the time.) 11. The teachers DO NOT engage with you, you knock on a door - they open and take the child inside or give her to you outside and close the door again, rarely even getting a hello. Except for Ms. Soni, I don't even know any of their names. 12. Finally, they do not check ID or anything when someone picks up a child. They just gave our daughter to her father when he asked for her by name. Could have been anyone saying "I'm here to pick up..." and they just hand the child over. Sorry for the long post, this is just a very concerning daycare. Since we pulled her, her language skills have flourished, she's not had any rashes, and she is happy to go. read more

Bubbly Tots Learning Center has been the best school for my 4 year old son. We moved here from San Diego last year and I was so nervous about him having to adjust to a new school. We felt so welcomed during our tour and my son right away started making friends and playing on the play structure, it made me feel so relieved that he was so comfortable before even enrolling. We have been at Bubbly Tots almost a year now, and he has grown so much! He is talking more clearly and have learned so much in this year at Bubbly Tots. It's a good preschool. Definitely not the best but they are flexible which I really like. My son didn't like it at first but now he really enjoys going to it. The kids there seem nice and my son likes them. They are much more reasonably priced than other school. They are a bit disorganized. Over the past several years, our children, who range in age, have attended Bubbly Tots Learning Center. As parents, we value the education of our little ones, and we are very appreciative that their experience at Bubbly Tots has helped to solidify their educational and social foundation. During the pandemic, we unenrolled them due to our own precautionary measures, but after about one year, we sent them back, and it was the best decision we could have made! Upon their return, on a weekly basis, they would tell us how much they LOVE their preschool. Literally every week. Upon asking them how their day went, it was regular to hear, "Great," and, "Excellent," in response. This is such a joyful thing for a parent to hear from their child!!! Every day they were excited to go to preschool, where they learned new things, and engaged socially with their classmates. They participated in arts and crafts activities (which are sent home for parents to see), story time, and learned new songs to sing. Additionally, in the older classroom, the children are often sent home with homework packets, which, in my opinion, helps to prepare them for kindergarten. With the support of Bubbly Tots, and support at home, all of our children were reading and writing before entering kindergarten. In conclusion, the pandemic has taken a toll on childhood education, and we are very grateful that Bubbly Tots Learning Center kept their doors open for parents who wanted to maintain the consistency of educating and socially engaging their children. The years our children have spent a Bubbly Tots will forever be cherished and appreciated in our family!!! And last but not least, the director, Mrs. Soni is such a pleasant human being to work with. So, let me just start off by saying that selecting a preschool for your little one can be a challenging decision. We initially started our two-year-old off at a different preschool, and had a so-so experience. The facility was not as clean as we would have liked it to have been, and they didn't serve food. Also, we don't feel they were assisting our little one with trying to use the potty, although they said they would, and she remained dependent on her pull-ups. Fast-forwarding to our experience at Bubbly Tots... overall, definitely a much better experience. Our daughter was still 2 when she began attending this preschool / Learning Center. They assisted her with potty training and she is no longer in pull ups during the day... but of course, sometimes accidents do happen, and they are very understanding about that. Our little one is very active and very hands-on. This Learning Center keeps her engaged with activities throughout the day. She always has activities, that she has worked on in class, to bring home, such as traced letters, hand drawn pictures, and art projects. Considering that she is there for most of the day, it is good to know that she is involved in enrichment activities for her development. We are very pleased with this Learning Center. The facility is clean and they serve the children healthy meals and snacks throughout the day, which is included in the tuition. We are very satisfied with our experience at Bubbly Tots Learning Center and know that we have made a great investment in our little one's early education experience. read more

My children have been attending this daycare since December 2011. The owner has been great in her dealings with our family. When we initially found this daycare we were relocating. She worked with my schedule to make sure she could accommodate me for a visit. Any issues I have had, I was able to address with her to remedy the situation. In reference to the below comment on the food they serve I have never encountered any problems. When signing up I was given an USDA qualified food calender. In addition, I check in with my children everyday to find out what they had for lunch and it is always something we would allow in our own home. My child just graduated and had attended for a year. What a gem of a place. Ms. Soni, the director, is extremely pleasant to deal with. She truly has compassion with what she does and what Bubbly Tots stands for. Ms. Soni has a wonderful staff that cares about each and every child...and it shows. As a parent, I put my child first and I want the best for my child while I'm away. Bubbly Tots was the perfect answer. For me, being a good parent means taking the time daily to help your child grow, learn and help them achieve to their highest ability. In my mind, a child should always come first. Bubbly Tots follows this foundation and builds on it. The few issues I have had, I was easily able to address them with Ms. Soni. I felt she had listened to my concerns and addressed the issues that needed attention. She also provided me with feedback afterwards. The staff here is nice, the place is clean and there is a very large, nice outdoor play area. They feed fresh meals daily AND it is secure. You have to be let in to pick up your kids. The owner is personable, responsive and professional. I found their prices to be fair and the best part is that their hours are convenient for working parents. My son started bubbly tots when he was 3 years old. He is now 5 and will be starting kinder in the fall. I'm very satisfied with the facility. They potty trained him, taught him Spanish and prepared him for Kinder. He successfully tested into the the school we wanted with flying colors! He became very enamored with some of teachers (Ms. Rajima!) and made lots of friends. They were also very indulgent with his hearty appetite. We love Bubbly Tots! They offer great, affordable care for extended hours (7 am - 6 pm) which is exactly what I needed as a busy mom with a full-time job. My daughter has been going to Bubbly Tots for the past year and half, she is actually graduating this June; I wanted to share with others the great experience she has had there. Ariyana started when she was 3.5 years old, shortly after she started she learned how to write her first name and soon after her last name. My initial intention for Bubbly Tots was for my daughter to develop her socialization skills and some structure but the teachers there really have a special skill to work with students and help them learn so quickly. Not only did my daughter develop strong social skills she learned all her ABC, Counting to 100 and learning to make presentations. We advised of all of our rates and they contested and only paid 25% of the bill and now will not return e-mails or phone calls. My daughter started in the young 3's class with Ms. Sophia and Ms. Zuhal (whom I love) and now she's is in the advanced 3's with Ms. Rahima and Ms. Maria. My daughter and I love this school it's such a positive environment and my daughter is learning so much. My 4-year-old son is getting ready to graduate this May. He's been here since he was 2 years old, and we've loved it from day one! The teachers are so attentive to their needs. They do all sorts of fun and creative artwork and schoolwork. They have also implemented a lunch program, so for busy parents, rest assured your children are being fed healthy snacks and lunch. Ms. Soni, the school director, has been more than gracious enough to accomodate my ever-changing schedule between work and school over the years. They have a wonderfully structured curriculum , and my son goes home telling me what he's learned and all the fun things he and his friends have done. I feel that my son is now well-prepared for his upcoming Kindergarten school year. The hours are so helpful because they run from early morning to the early evening (6PM) which fits so many peoples' busy schedule. They also have different program events during Halloween, Christmas, and Pre-K Graduation. Maybe we've been spoiled with my daughters current school. Maybe my expectations were too high? But again I think everything I asked for was pretty standard. Toured the school today, and I'm hoping parents of these little ones should show up on a Friday and check out the school. When I came with my daughter around 10:30, the school was filled with this wonderful smell from the kitchen. Immediately, brownie point! I was hungry lol. Everything just kinda went downhill from that point. The school is located in a strip mall, in the corner next to a Vietnamese restaurant. Hmmm.. ok. Inside was nice, clean, but again, nothing can really impress me, my daughter has been going to Building Kids in Concord, nothing in this neighborhood including Castro Valley can compare to her current school. The positive: the rooms are separated. Not just by bookshelf or toy shelf, legit rooms. And that's about it! When I walked into the 3-4 years old room, it was pitch dark, I'm like wth? Then I saw a lady sitting all the way in the back of the class and another one next to the small 32 inch TV. They're were the teachers. Ohhh... the kids all gathered around the small 32 inch tv watching a movie. Teacher immediately came and talked to me, explained that they only do that on Fridays. Friday's are chill day/fun day so kids watch tv and do whatever they want... hmmm ok... there's no student art work in the class. No painting or art project... just a small area with students writing of their names... hmmmm ok.... so you don't teach art and music. Ok got it! Went to the older classroom, 4-5 years old, a little better, 44 inch tv? Lol no seriously same structure, 20 kids sitting on the floor in front of the tv, and I'm talking about REALLY CLOSE to the tv, watching a movie... hmmmm... red flag! Went outside and checked out the playground, wasn't impressed. So on my way out, I asked about if there are extra curricular classes? Yes, but parents have to pay extra for all of them (science, gymnastic and soccer) hmmm ok, that's cool, at least you offer it... Asked when can I start my daughter? Was told as early as Monday, I said ok let's wait til may since I already paid her current school tuition this month. Ok no problem. The teacher gave me an enrollment package, ok cool, then she said "Oh you owe me $100!" Huh? I was confused.... she said in order for me to get the paper work, I have to pay her $100 immediately... hmmmm ok... how should I pay? Check or cash... hmmm... ok I'm fine with that. So I flipped through the enrollment package, looking for a schedule, every school I toured so far, no matter big or small, all have a schedule of some sort for the class. She told me they don't have those but it's in the classroom I can check it out when I drop off my daughter in May... what? First movie and do whatever they want all day, now not even able to give me a schedule print out? Hmmm. No thank you. So I told her I will talk to my husband about it before I pay. She said fine, and took back the enrollment forms. Hmmm... 10 pages of black and white copies doesn't cost $100. Just saying... read more

Our 4 year old son has been attending school here since he was 20 months old. We enroll him for extended care hours (7am - 6pm) which makes it very convenient, as both my husband and i both commute into work. The staff has always been attentive, caring and communicative about my son's development. Ms. Soni, the school's director, is genuinely invested in each of the children's development. I know I can reach out at any time and she would offer insightful feedback and observations on how my son has been progressing. Together with Bubbly Tots, we've seen him through potty training, learning the alphabet/ shapes/numbers, and developing early-reading skills. The curriculum is a great - I'm continually impressed on what a solid foundation they offer in preparation for Kindergarden. From the first conversation with Mrs. Soni and after the tour of the facility, I knew that Bubbly Tots was the best place for my then 23mo old son. I was pleased that they had cameras, offered breakfast, lunch and snacks. The curriculum that was taught over the past 2- 3 years has given him a great foundation and preparation for kindergarten. My son was always happy and school he really liked his teachers, especially Mrs. Raheema. The bond that they formed while in her class will last a lifetime. I was pleased with the fast response from Mrs. Soni and staff when ever there was a issue or situation. Ms. Laura and Ms. Caroline taught my son Spanish and yoga. We were blessed to find this center and so very thankful for the positive experience and I would definitely recommend this center to others (in fact I have already). My baby came to Bubbly Tots right when he turned two. He was shy (didn't talk much) and not yet potty trained. The teachers at Bubbly Tots executed their well-documented process to a 100% success. My son, whose arrival came seven weeks early, was potty trained and was able to speak his mind came at lightning speed successfully. With continuous work, and the help from Bubbly Tots, my son now is par with his group and can do all his letters and numbers, interact, sing songs, and keep up with other friends in different preschools throughout our area. My name is Kristina. My daughter has been attending Bubbly tots for 9 months now. She began part time, 2 days a week. I choose this pre school for many reasons, first, I logged on to yelp to read the reviews. This is why I am writing mine. I called and spoke to the Owner, Ms. Soni. She made me feel very welcoming. I made an appointment with my daughter and husban to come to the facility during business hours to see how things are ran during the school time. I was able to meet all the teachers and see the play ground and all the class rooms. I felt as if I was the only parent there and was able to ask questions. Most importantly, my daughter LOVES going to school. She sings constantly. With in about a months time, she was able to count to 12, and sing her ABC's. She knows all her colors and shapes. My daughter is 2! She has never complained about the other kids or problems. She is already potty trained and loves where her big girl pants. The teachers are very prompt of letting you know what is going on, parties, picture days, tumbling, need ot wipes etc. The fact that my daughter asks me if she can go to school today is all the satisfaction I need to know that I can feel comfortable leaving her there while my husband and I are at work. Other plus' of Bubbly Tots: 1. Price is amazing compared to other pre-schools 2. They serve food and snacks, do you do not have to pack your own 3. They potty Train 4. The ratio of children to teachers is great 5. The door is locked so you have to ring the door bell to get into the facility 6. The play yard is fenced in with minimal view from the outside to see in 7. The acts and crafts my daughter brings home 8. The flexibility of the owners with your hours. I was recommended to Bubbly Tots by a former student at the College I work for. My first impression was that the website was very informative & answered many of my initial questions. I emailed the director with further questions & to set up a visit. She responded very quickly & was very helpful! My 4 year old has been attending since Winter of 2012 & I couldn't be happier! We were nervous about what the transition for him would be like as he had only been in the care of grandparents until that point. I enrolled my son in this wonderful school when he was just becoming a toddler. The school was able to potty train my son, teach him about sharing with others, he learned his colors, days of the week ect. I am very pleased with the programs that have been put in place & I feel that this was the best learning environment a parent could ask for. My daughter is very happy here. She has been going here for a couple of years now and we recently pulled her out to go to summer camp. Although she enjoys summer camp, she asks every so often, when she can go back to school (Bubbly Tots). I love their staff and how they take care of the kids. They are firm when they need to be and loving as well. Also love their structure and schedule, which the kids need! When it was time for my daughter to be potty trained, it took Ms. Fabiola all of a couple of weeks for her to get it. So thankful! Ms. Soni is also very accommodating. Whenever I have an issue, she gets back to me right away or if I am simply running a little late, she tells me not to worry about it and to drive safe. I'm grateful for this pre-school and the staff. After having our girls age 2 and 4 cared for by my mother (who was previously a daycare director), finding a daycare that I felt comfortable with was a difficult task. The teachers at Bubbly Tots are great, and their program is well balanced and structured. I was worried as to how my girls would adjust having always been cared for in our home. They loved it and I could not be happier! In the 7 months that they have been there they have learned so much its amazing, and they are ALWAYS singing songs. I am so glad I found Bubbly Tots! My 4 year old son is currently enrolled at Bubbly Tots and we love it. He has been here for almost a year and has learned so much. They taught him how to write his name and worked on a different letter and number each week. He now knows how to read and write quite a few short words. Everyday he brings home class work or arts and crafts and is always excited to show it to us. He loves that Bubbly Tots has holiday and birthday celebrations and they make it so fun for the kids. My daughter has been attending Bubbly Tots for the last 2 years. As she is on her way to kindergarten, I am confident in her academic success thanks to the staff at Bubbly Tots. She not only communicates clearly, but she has learned Spanish, counting, and can write her name as well as simple words. I was so impressed with the care provided I enrolled my son at 20 months old. Within the few months he's been there he has become more vocal and interactive. Both of my children have built strong relationships with the staff and made their own friendships. I have always been able to address any of my concerns and feel comfortable in doing so.
