I was going back to work after maternity leave and I was looking for somewhere to put my three year-old. I love the fact that Miss Erika was able to bring me into her home and give me a tour very quickly. The house is very clean and she was able to build her home into a day care setting. It is bilingual, the other language used is Spanish, which is very helpful here in the Bay Area. Kids Konnect daycare has been an excellent choice for our two toddlers over the past four years. Erika is bilingual and demonstrates exceptional care and attention, contributing significantly to my children's development and learning. We've seen our children thrive and gain confidence in their abilities, making it a rewarding choice for our family. My oldest child is excelling in TK and meeting all her goals. They even helped with potty training both of our children and the price is reasonable. The daycare has a great outdoor space and they do lots of fun activities and celebrations. I have had both my boys attend daycare with Ms. Erika since august 2022 and we have been so happy with her care of our kiddos! Both boys have done so well with her, learning their colors, shapes, numbers and letters as well as practicing writing and doing arts and crafts. Erika is very flexible and willing to help our family with potty training and accommodating the special needs of our youngest son la dr appointments and therapy. I've been taking my 6 year old daughter to Erika's for after-school care for the past few months. It's a clean and well-maintained home daycare. I've tried a different daycare before finding Erika but my daughter wasn't happy with the previous one. With Erika, my daughter is really happy and tells me that Erika is patient and nice with the kids. And that's really important factors because I found out from my daughter that the other daycare before Erika wasn't such a nice lady. Only nice in front of the parents. It's no surprise that Erika has 5 star reviews - she is absolutely amazing and we love her. My son was 2 when he started going to Erika (it was his first time) and I somehow found her in the very last minute. I immediately felt great energy and vibes from her and really felt like this is somebody I can trust my baby with! I didn't bother looking further and just enrolled him right away. It definitely says a lot when after that first month, your kid becomes happy and excited to go to daycare. As a parent, that is a huuuuge relief and adds so much ease. My son learned SO much in Erika's care. I really appreciate that she is focused and determined to not only get your child ready for school but also teaches a lot of life skills. My son enjoyed tending to her garden, dressing up for halloween, learning lots of Spanish, the super cute birthday parties that she will throw for the children, the music, reading time, yummy & healthy meals, the fun arts & craft projects, and even taking a moment to learn about your cultural or religious holiday to join in the celebration. This daycare was great for our little ones. Erika is great with the kids and you can tell they all love her. Our 1 and 3 year olds were both ahead of most of their new classmates when we had to change schools due to relocating. There are not enough great things I can say about Erika and the environment she provides for my son. He has been so quick to develop his abc's and 123's and it's because of Erika. She makes learning a lot of fun for the kids. He comes home singing songs, showing me dance moves and telling me about his friends. I ask my son everyday how his day was and he always has great stories to tell, mind you he's only 2!! She keeps them busy all day long with indoor and outdoor activities. She creates a very safe environment and I never have to worry about leaving my son with her. I toured a couple places before deciding to go with Kids Konnect, and each place I visited didn't give me the comfort I felt when I met Erika. She showed me around and talked me through things. Finding a Daycare for my infant son was not an easy task, he is my only child and I set up appointments with more than 10 places!! dragging my husband to all the appointments, but from all of those Kids Connect with Erika was the one that made me feel comfortable, don't get me wrong there are good daycares but she inspire trust and confidence. Leaving my baby was hard but seeing him happy surrounded by friends in a safe, clean environment where he is learning, its priceless. She work with my schedule and more important with my baby until he was comfortable to be with her full time. He is a sweet boy that needs a loving figure and he looks for her when we needs reassurance. When I walk to her door I could hear them singing, jumping and laughing. She runs a great daycare where you know your child will be happy not only playing but learning. My boy found friends that welcome him, scream his name when they see each other, you can tell how she teaches them to behave and care for each other and they are all little!! My son is still small but he would sit with the other boys and do homework, like in a little school. I could see the bigger kids progress learning colors, numbers, how to write. Her backyard has fruits where the little ones can collect and play. She had them make Thanksgiving, Christmas handcrafts, and my son was so proud showing me his work. I can not imagine the patience she has to care for them, teach them manners and having them learn all while having fun. I am lucky I found her because I know that my baby is in great hands, she has a great ability to connect with them and make them feel safe and loved. read more

This daycare (led by Erika) is a gem! I have been sending my twin sons here since they were 15 months (they're almost 3 now). At the start of my search, I wanted to find a safe, enriching, joyful and reliable caregiver. Erika has exceeded my expectations. She finds clever ways to do arts projects, music lessons, cultural celebrations, and more--and my guys just adore her. Her facility/home is always clean and tidy, and it is constantly "restocked" with new, engaging toys and play structures. Importantly, she ensures the kids are safe and well cared for. (One of my sons has a potentially dangerous health condition and I have never felt concerned about his safety.) Erika has been a blessing to my family and I am so fortunate to have such high quality care for my kids during such an important developmental phase. My kiddo has just finished kindergarten and would not have the soaring scores without Erika and her amazing team. He has the manners and integrity of a grown kid. He has developed so much in her daycare. He was ahead of the other kids when entering kindergarten in reading, alphabets, math, shapes, colors, and singing. The artwork and projects he would bring home from her daycare are unique, beautiful, and shows that the kids really do the work themselves. I have every Mother's day present he has ever made at her home and they truly last. Her daycare is so warm and nurturing and her students truly learn so much academically as well as socially. My son has been at Kids Konnect Daycare with Erica for over 6 months now, since he was an infant. Erica and her assistants are terrific with all the kids - they really are in-tune to each individual child's needs and personality. The environment is very warm, enriching, and family-oriented. There is a terrific indoor and outdoor space for the kids to play. They do scheduled activities, read books, sing songs, and she serves them healthy meals. We could not have found a better day care for our baby girl! I'm moved to write my very first yelp review. :-) If you've been looking for a daycare for your child than you know how stressful the process can be. There are lots if questionable places out there and it's terrifying wondering if your child will be in good hands. Erica put all my fears to rest right away. She has a magic touch with kids. My daughter was five months when I returned to work. She wouldn't let anyone hold her without sounding the alarm. Except Erica that is. I couldn't believe it. Erica held her throughout our first meeting and she did not make a peep. They say your child will let you know when they feel safe with someone. (By the way, if you visit a daycare and the person does not express interest in holding or playing with your child it's probably a red flag). Since the first day my daughter adjusted beautifully to her new day care. She never cried when I dropped her off (even though I did) and was happy as a clam every time I dropped by to visit or picked her up at the end of the day. Erica even got her to nap for two hours twice a day. (This rarely happens at home). Erica has a ton of experience in childcare and frequently gave us helpful tips as this is our first baby. She only prepares fresh organic food for the kids and engages them in learning activities. They spend lots of time outside and listen to music. They are not plopped in front of the tv like in many other places. The daycare is clean and has lots of toys and open space to play and learn. Erica will talk to your child in Spanish if you request it and even taught my baby sign language to help her communicate her needs. Sadly, because I got a new job in SF, we had to relocate our daughter to be closer to me. I searched so many places and couldn't find any day care that compares to Erica's and is affordable. We even considered commuting for an hour just to keep our daughter there. Now that there's no reason for us to keep Erica our best kept secret I've decided to share her with other sweet babies. Kids Konnect daycare is an awesome place. My daughter has been attending there for 2 years now and she loves every minute she's there. I was looking for a daycare and found Erica's daycare on Craigslist. Scheduled a visit to see her daycare with my daughter and her dad (just to see how my daughter would react). We were expecting to be there no more than 30 minutes or so. We ended up stay on for a few hours, that's how much my daughter enjoyed it. Erica has a lot of activities for the kids to do like singing, dancing, reading, painting, coloring, etc. The children also enjoy outside play. Erica speaks Spanish and English to the children, which was a plus for us since we want our daughter to know another language. She feeds the children nothing but organize foods (children get 3 meals and 2 snacks everyday). She's affordable, flexible and I would recommend her family daycare to anyone. I can't say enough good things about Erika and her staff. She teaches them so many positive life skills and social skills, in addition to the academics. My son is always coming home with adorable little art projects and skill-building projects. Most importantly, I feel like my son is in the care of someone who loves him and cares about his well-being. I am so very grateful to have found Erika and her teachers at Kids Konnect! All the positive feedback that everyone else has stated is exactly what I have experienced as well. My daughter has been at Kids Konnect for a little over 7 months now and my daughter was 5 months old when we started there. Every morning when I drop her off she gets so excited to see Erika, she gets a huge smile and reaches her arms out to her. This makes me so happy and comforted to see how happy she is to see Erika. And the same is true with her staff, my daughter adores them! She and her staff are so very loving to all of the kids, you can see it in how they interact with the kids and how the kids are with them. It feels like a home every day that I go to pick my daughter up. All the children are so happy and playing. I love all of the activities that they do each day, all learning based, and great for socialization, Spanish, English and sign language, spatial awareness and motor skills, and even though my daughter is young she still is included. I get updates and picture messages all of the time, it brightens my workday, and Erika is great about communicating about my daughter's growth, stories each day, needs and changes for her.
