It was the perfect choice as Ms. Mireya and her team provided a safe, nurturing, and always educational environment for our son to grow and thrive. He benefited immensely from the steady and rich curriculum, and he even became bilingual. I'll never forget him coming home and singing the ABCs in English and Spanish on repeat! Although he has recently moved on to kindergarten, we are so happy that our younger daughter also has the opportunity to benefit from Ms. Mireya and her amazing program. She is only 9 months old, but we are absolutely delighted to know she will benefit from several more years of Lernity Kids Academy, just like her older brother. Big recommend to any parent looking for a safe, educational, and amazing place to help care for their children! Thank you Ms l. Mireya and the Lernity team!

The original daycare never reopened after the initial shut down and our current situation was not sustainable. The previous daycare recommended Mireya's to me and I am so happy she did. Not only has my son stayed healthy throughout this pandemic, he has also been able to continue learning (in both English and Spanish) and socializing with his friends. He always comes home so happy and loves to talk about his day and what activities he did. I now have my 8 month old daughter also going to Mireya's Daycare and she also loves it. Even though I fully trust Mireya and Yolanda with my children, it is never easy as a mom to return to work after maternity leave. But knowing my kids are treated like family and are in good hands gave me so much reassurance when I had to return to work. If you are looking for a small, daycare where your child will be safe, treated like family, with good education and socialization, give Mireya a call!

One of the things we especially appreciate is the home-cooked food. Arifa prepares fresh meals, and her homemade pasta is my daughter's absolute favorite! My daughter has never been a big fan of fruits, but Arifa patiently takes the time to encourage her and somehow always manages to get her to eat them. The space is also very clean and well maintained, which is incredibly important to us. We highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a nurturing, safe, and loving environment for their child. It has truly been a wonderful experience for our family.

Our daughter surprises us on a daily, she will ask questions and say things that we wonder where she learned from, of course it's from Arifa's care! The level of care, warmth, and education they provide goes beyond what you would expect. Their attention is shared with all kids equally, and I can share my experience after nearly three years. My boy started daycare around one and a half years old after attending a not-so-great daycare. As a new parent, I did not fully grasp what an impact a daycare could have. When he first joined, there was a period of time where he was not fully integrating with the rest of the kids. They worked with him slowly and tenderly, and he started opening up after a short while. He is now very extroverted, but the most important thing to me was seeing how he blossomed and became noticeably happier week after week. He also has a hard time eating, but I can always count on his plentiful healthy meals during daycare. That one hasn't been fully resolved yet, haha. As an aside, I bump into them at Costco every few weeks and they are always picking out the best quality ingredients. The kids are spoiled. As far as the day-to-day goes, their time is filled with play and enriching experiences. They are not just being taken care of and entertained; they are guided through a learning process tailored to each one. There is obviously a lot of care placed in pushing each kid's potential and, from what I can tell, they are exceeding academically and developmentally. Mine is performing at a kindergarten level in many subjects. Quick note on value, Araceli's was more affordable than our last daycare and all meals are included. This is getting long, but TL;DR: my son is happy, fed, educated, and loved here. I am eternally grateful for having found Araceli and Memo.

Aracely and Memo not only made the new transition easy and comfortable for us and our son but they became like a second family for him and my wife and I. He was with them until he was ready to attend 1st grade. They got him ready by teaching him how to read write and do Math. My son still calls her teacher and when he has a chance will go inside and hug them. My daughter came after and we wouldn't have taken her anywhere else. She started at 1 year old and they love her so much she's called by them the pricess. I spoke with and toured a few places and ultimately decided on Basima's after meeting her in person. Her home is setup perfectly to accommodate the children, as well as her backyard. She prepares meals and snacks for the kids, does arts and crafts, singing, dancing and other fun activities. The kids nap while they are there as well. Basima and Rhea send photos and videos of what the kids are doing multiple times per week, which I love! My son, 5, is not the easiest kid. He's high energy but very shy with new people and can be picky. Basima understood this and has been so great with him; making him feel comfortable and never forcing him to do anything. She will even make him something to eat separate from what the other kid's are eating if he is being picky. My 2yr old loves going to daycare and playing with all of her friends! Basima creates a warm, calm, and comfortable environment where children feel secure and understood. The daycare is clean and inviting, with a great backyard for outdoor play. It's located in a quiet and very safe neighborhood, which gave us a lot of peace of mind every day at drop-off. Basima prepares homemade meals and pays close attention to each child's needs. Our son is a very picky eater, and there were times when she would prepare something different just for him so he would eat better -- something we truly appreciated. Rhea is also incredibly kind and involved, and together they provide thoughtful, consistent care. Each day is kept engaging with activities like crafts, outdoor time, and play with friends, and we saw our son become more independent and social throughout his time there. They make special occasions really fun for the kids. For birthdays and holidays, our son would come home with a little gift or goody bag, and we always received cute photos and videos to remember those moments. Communication has always been excellent. We received regular updates and pictures during the day, and Basima always lets us know about any schedule changes or holidays well in advance -- a huge help for working parents. Now that our son is transitioning to preschool, we know we're going to miss Basima and Rhea very much. They have been such a positive and loving presence in his early years, and we are so grateful for everything they've done for our family. Meena and her fellow caretakers genuinely care for the children. After the first couple weeks of adjustment, my son was always so happy to attend this daycare. I could tell the caretakers really enjoyed playing with him and he loved them. My son is a chronic RUNNER AND FALLER. Surprisingly, he rarely came home with any injuries--he got a lot more injuries from running around at home. Note that they have great patience. My son is not an easy child -- he's very willful! I also noticed that his speech improved rapidly when they started having a tutor come by in the afternoons to teach the kids. I always appreciated that the home is spacious and very clean. The dark napping room is also fantastic to help the kids get deeper rest. When we were moving, we had Meena watch our son on the weekend while we organized the house and had movers out and about. When she's available, her babysitting prices are very reasonable too. I loved having someone I could trust watch my son. It saved us the trouble of needing to vet new baby sitters and he was in a comfortable environment that he was used to. I strongly recommend Sweet Second Home Daycare!
