They took the time to introduce themselves, answer our questions, and make both my son and our family feel welcome and supported. My son had a tough time adjusting at first, but instead of giving up on him, the teachers worked with patience, compassion, and consistency. They communicated with us regularly, kept us updated in real-time, and always made us feel included in his progress. Even on hard days, we felt reassured that he was in good hands. The classrooms are clean, warm, and well-organized. The activities are engaging and thoughtfully planned. But most importantly, the teachers are nurturing and invested in each child's emotional and developmental growth. Now, our son is thriving. He is confident, happy, and ready to start kindergarten. We truly believe Building Kidz helped heal the negative experience he had before and turned his early education into something positive and empowering. We're so thankful to the entire team especially Ms. Marina, Ms. Hilda, Ms. Anabel and Ms. Rosa at Building Kidz. Highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a safe, supportive, family-oriented and enriching environment for their child. Also, my son loved the food here and always ate the snacks and lunch that he wouldn't normally even eat at home. A huge plus!!

I especially appreciate Ms. Mary who is always trying her best with my daughter. Thank you so much to the staff, especially Ms. Mary and Ms. Briana, for giving my daughter a safe and welcoming place to learn.

He learned a lot of great things while he was here. Shortly after he started we noticed his manners improved (please and thank you), and in the Covid world they did a great job inspiring him to wash his hands properly. He's leaving TK knowing his ABCs, basic addition and subtraction, counting to 100, some sight words, and more. The kids do a wide variety of hands-on activities in TK, including crafts, science experiments, and even cooking. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included in the tuition, which was a huge help. My kid is a really picky eater and they encouraged him to try everything, but if he didn't like it they would give him something else to eat (cereal, fruit, etc...) If you're enrolled full day the drop-off/pick-up window is very flexible for working parents - 6:30am-6:00pm. I typically didn't pick my son up until 5:45pm because he refused to leave if I came earlier. He was always having too much fun! I want to add that I just adore the kindergarten teacher, Miss Norita, and I am sad he won't be attending kindergarten at Elmhurst. We're leaving because my son was admitted to the Mandarin DLI program in Hayward and you have to start that in kindergarten. We plan to enroll our second child here once he is old enough.

I have picked up my nephews and niece from this school frequently. This institution has consistently had AMAZING teachers.  My sisters' kids had the same teacher, Ms. Michelle and even though my son has different teachers (Ms. Farishta and Ms. Denise), the quality of care and education he received is consistent with the same outcome of her kids. So even though teachers have changed throughout the years, the standards in which these teachers are Montessori trained are high. From day 1, I dropped him off confidently knowing he was in wonderful caring hands. And now that it is towards the end of the year, I reflect back and remain in AWE of the advancement he has made in terms of education and social skills.

My older child (now 5) graduated from Safari, and my younger one is currently enrolled. The growth, curiosity, and confidence I've seen in both of them have been incredible. From the very beginning, Safari Kids has been supportive and nurturing not just in academic development, but emotional and social growth as well. There's a good balance of academics, arts and crafts, and activities. My oldest came home every day excited to share what he learned -- from phonics, numbers, and early reading skills to big, thoughtful topics like the circle of life, recycling, the planets, and more. The arts and crafts activities also helped spark his creativity. I was constantly amazed by how much he knew -- sometimes even more than what I'd expect from a kindergartner! One of the moments that really stood out for me was when we welcomed a new baby at home. The transition was a bit hard on my older child, but the teachers handled it with such care. They encouraged him to bring family photos and share stories about his baby brother during show and tell. That simple gesture helped him feel seen and proud in his new role as a big brother. Now, with my younger child just three months into Safari (after previously being in home daycare), I'm already seeing tremendous growth. He adjusted quickly thanks to the warm, welcoming teachers -- and the daily updates and photos helped ease the transition for us too. He's now picking up new words daily and becoming more expressive and independent. The teachers at Safari Kids truly care, and it shows in everything they do. This is a school with a strong sense of community, the teachers know all the kids (even if not in same classroom) and the parents invite other kids to birthday parties. I highly recommend Safari Kids to other parents as an enriching place for their children to grow.

The curriculum strikes a perfect balance between structured learning and play-based activities. It has nurtured curiosity, encouraged creativity, and helped build the foundation for lifelong learning and friendship. We have seen our child grow in confidence, kindness and joy, and we are so grateful for the positive, caring environment. Communication with the school has been good. The facilities are clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed for young learners. He was at that time shy, hard to communicate with, and was overall stubborn with wanting to do what he wanted and when. As a father that always wants the best for his kids and worries about how they may acclimate to new places and experiences, I worryingly counted down the days until we ultimately had to let him walk through the threshold into Level Up. The initial drop offs were rough on us and him as he got used to new places and teachers, and every week I wondered if it was truly the right choice for us. However, thanks to the absolute patience, empathy from the staff here, and stunning attention to what our son needs and how to communicate most effectively with him he started to absolutely blossom. A kid that couldn't finish the ABC's was somehow talking in full sentences by the end of the year, telling his feelings in reaction to what we were saying to him, and somehow became the line leader of his entire group. While yes, some of this may have come naturally to him over time both my wife and I agree that this school has put him well over the top of academic and social expectations. He has become acutely aware and sensitive of others people's wants and needs, is quite the public performer thanks to the schools seasonal performances, and thanks to the learning curriculum is quite aware of how to conserve energy and help the earth thrive. While still the stubborn little guy he is, he continues to excel and be nurtured by the staff who is THE reason why we are still at this location. Ms. Shushma, the manager of this facility has lead her team in a way that is nothing more than admirable. It is clear during drop offs and picking up that she knows the personalities and needs of every single one of her students and makes sure that they are accounted for. Her door is always opened for questions, concerns, and she has always reached out with thoughtful ways on how to best take care of our son in the most respectful manner. Over the last year and a half she become one of the most influential people in our sons development, and we could not thank her enough for her time and energy. If you are looking for a care center where your child needs attention, patience, and a really fun place to play (the happy home indoor play area two doors down is really cool) I would highly consider the Fremont location. We are currently enrolled in a full time 5 day a week program with optional included meals and will be enrolling our daughter when the time rolls around.

The same group of students are repeatedly highlighted in school photos, events, and recognition. It also appears that certain students receive more attention and appreciation compared to others. During the admission process, communication and interaction felt very warm and welcoming and Sushma is being so dramatic in faking. However, after joining, the experience has felt quite different. At times, interactions from the management/staff feel distant and dismissive. I also feel that students who are already bright receive most of the focus and encouragement, while average or struggling students may not be getting equal attention and support. A school environment should help every child grow, not only the top-performing students. Additionally, there seems to be a lack of adequate teaching/support staff, which may also be impacting the attention given to children individually also other staff could get frustrated on kids easily. I hope the school takes this feedback constructively and works toward creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for all students and parents.

After requesting a list of days that they are closed during the year, as it differed from the dates they disclosed during the time of enrollment, they terminated my baby's enrollment. Instead of just providing the dates, they gaslit me stating that I was the only parent who inquired about specific dates. One, I don't care what any other parent does with their kid, that has nothing to do with me and mine. Two, that is just not true, as my baby's teacher told me that she overheard the director explaining to several parents about the excessive and random dates that they are closed. In the contract, they state they are closed from Christmas Eve through New Year's Day, that's reasonable. But in reality they are closed from the 19th through New Year's Day. They give parents three weeks notice of these non-contracted closures. They also close the school during the week to clean the school, instead of just cleaning or hiring cleaners every weekend like most other preschools and daycare centers. As these "cleaning closures" are few and far between, I also inquired about how often they were cleaning the school as they claim to be very "clean environment" focused during the tour. I doubt they clean regularly as my child was consistently sick. Literally, after she got over one sickness she was right back sick with something else. It also needs to be noted that they have an abundance of cameras outside of the school but absolutely zero inside. Parents are not allowed in to see their kid's class (only during the tour), they force pick up and drop off outside. It's crazy that my baby was only there for less than three months. They clearly realized I was not the parent to just lay down and go for whatever when it comes to my children. I'll proudly be as disruptive as I need to be behind my kids, as any mother should be. Way too secretive to be caring for people's children and they need to be watched more closely by the parents who still have children attending.
