Monique C.

My best friend and I decided to celebrate our birthdays with a sip n paint night at Artist Center. My husband and daughter joined us and we had an amazing time with Monica and the other "artists". Monica created amazing templates of our beloved pets and helped us all do them justice in fabulous paintings (plus we got to enjoy the delicious wine we brought). We loved it!

I had so much fun with Monica Monica showed us how to make a payment from a to Z she is great. I love everything she does. I would recommend Monica for a paint night for kids for everyone. She is so much fun. I really appreciate her. she is the best artist I ever been with. Thank you so much, Monica.

If you have an artsy fartsy side. This could be so much fun and a great break from regular routine! Monica is super friendly and fun and a great teacher. Definitely give this a try!

My boyfriend surprised me with a paint night for my birthday. I had such an amazing time! Monica was great, welcoming, and helpful. I can't wait to go back and paint some more!

Came here for a paint and sip with my partner. Location was a little tricky but the night was very fun! Host was charismatic and patient.

Before I started this review, my son said "How many stars should we give art camp?" and when I…read moreasked how many he wanted to give, he emphatically said "5 Stars!" LOL the child has spoken! 5 stars it is! There are so many camps to chose from in the East Bay but what we have been loving about Aran's Art Camp is the intimate group size: there's no more than 10 kids per art camp and we've lucked out with an even smaller group during our time here. The camp is taught by a mix of Aran herself and her staff and they've been nothing but wonderful. My kiddo comes home from art camp every day bursting at the seams about everything he's worked on and learned (giving me safety tips about glass fusing and teaching me what a pinch pot is!) and he looks forward to going back each day. Each week is a different theme so if you wanted to sign up for multiple sessions, your child will definitely be working on something different each time. While the hours are 10-2, they offer before and after care for an additional fee which basically turns this into an all day camp if you were to maximize on the 9-3 aspect of it. There's a lot of half day camps out there so if you use their before and after camp, you get a good chunk of the day covered! Lastly, they go to the park every day after lunch to let them move around and get some sunshine and Fridays is pizza day! My kid said he would love to come back to art camp again next summer.

It's pretty quiet in here compared to other places which I love! Parking is super easy since it's in a plaza, the people that work at this studio are super friendly and nice, and they offer so many other activities - I saw a kids painting night happening before, they have glass fusing, etc. They also have an area in the back where it looks like they do most of the classes so the pottery painting is almost always available!!

I have always wanted to go to one of those painting parties but I always hesitated because 1. I…read moredon't drink alcohol and 2. I don't know how paint unless it's a blank wall and I'm not that good at it. We'll went I saw the Pinky was doing a family event, I signed up both my son and hubby since kids are welcome 1. No need to drink alcohol and 2. If it's a family event (ages 5 and over) I would think what we're painting would not be so difficult. We went on a Saturday at the New England Pub in San Leandro. I've never been there (I don't drink any alcohol) and found out that there's only about ten parking spaces. I would've rated this 5 stars if there was no parking issues at the venue. We had to park in one of those places where you have to feed the meter and you need quarters. I had to set my phone alarm to make sure we do not forget to feed it more quarters which was a hassle. The price included kid-friendly lunch of chicken fingers, salad, French fries and all kinds of dessert including cup cakes, 3 different types of cuties, lollipops and cuties (those tiny tangerines). Everything was so good. We had time to eat while we wait for more people and had a break in between to eat some more. The event took three hours and it was quite fun for the whole family. Pinky is so funny and she explains everything and she walks around and you can ask her questions. I love the little dance party that she does to dry your canvas. All 3 of us had a great time and Pinky was nice enough to take our pictures. The blank canvas, paint, paint brushes, water, rag apron were all provided for us. In the end, we ended up with masterpieces that I proudly hung in our hallway, next to the front door. I could've never painted this on my own. I'm so glad that we went and I got to experience this with my family. I would love to participate in more of her classes but we only have so much wall spaces to display our art work. I'm hoping she finds different things, other than a canvas, that we can paint on.

Love Pinkys energy. She provided everything. Had a blast at my niece painting party would highly…read morerecommend.

The idea of girlfriends having fun with drinks, dressed in aprons, while drawing a very buff (read: nude) model, is really original and creative! We are grateful that Artful Bachelorette exist! You can explore the artist in you and at the same time celebrating the sisterhood with your girlfriends! The model is beautiful to look at, let alone to model your drawings. The host made it very fun with little challenge and games during the drawing session. They also provided us with a bottle of champagne. We were also allowed to BYOB. At the end of the session, we took memorable and fun group pictures. If you are looking for a bachelorette ideas that are unique and fun. Look no further!

The hosts, Tiffany and Sage, were a joy to have! No drawing skills needed, just focused on having fun! It was a comfortable, fun environment they created that allowed our group to have the best time! I'd highly recommend adding this to your bachelorette itinerary if you're looking for something other than the usual club/stripper scene that's more mellow though just as fun!
