Cute farm and store. Lots of pick your own options, from Strawberries to flowers…read more Since it was a hot day and I was too lazy, I just bought my strawberries at the store. And of course ended up with some pie and fudge and and and. This is all just way too tempting. And it is all very delicious too... Glad I don't live any closer or I would be a regular here.

This farm has a decent sized parking area and allows you to pick some of your own produce (when in…read moreseason) or purchase pre-picked produce in their shop. They have strawberries, red raspberries, asparagus, pumpkins, grapes and sunflowers, depending on the time of the year. They are very active on social media, so they keep followers up-to-date on the status of their crops and seasons. They have a shop where you will find pre-picked crops, fudge, ice cream, pies, muffin and bread mixes, peanut butters, snack mix, jams/preserves, popcorn, aprons and sauces. In addition to the crop that you could also pick your self, they have seasonal items that they bring in that include tomatoes, black raspberries, and peaches. It is a neat little shop and the staff is very friendly. You will find rockers and a table and chairs in the front of the shop and some tables and chairs on the side, where you can sit and eat. There is a winery in the front of the farm's grounds, but I did not check it out. I was on a mission to get some black raspberries. I also ended of getting a slice of the berry pie, which was delicious. I highly recommend getting some of their pies. You will not regret it. The black raspberries were ok. They were a little bitter than what I was expecting and as compared to the red variety. Now if you are expecting super low prices because you are buying direct, I found that shopping here was not the case. You are getting freshness though and if you do pick your own, that is a cool experience as well. This is a neat little farm located near Westfield, about 35 minutes outside of the city.

Despite other orchards/pumpkin patches absolutely price gouging families, Anderson Orchard remains the same and reasonably priced. Hours for September and October: 8am-8pm (or dark) We drove from Noblesville, I was so happy they were still open! Plenty to do for the kids, playground, bounce houses, straw pile, photo ops. They offer U-pick apples & Pumpkins or if you're in a hurry they're ready to grab from the red barn. Pumpkins are super reasonably priced at $.40 a Lb or pie pumpkins for $3. The concession stand is open on Saturday & Sunday. I love the fried biscuits with apple butter & of course you must get the apple cider slushies!! I don't remember seeing it prior, but they had apple cobbler warmed up with ice cream, delicious! I just love this place so much! Don't leave without a bag of apples, Carmel apples, apple cider & get some of those fried biscuits! Highly recommend bringing the whole family.

We didn't know what to expect but knew there would be flowers to pick. We brought all of our own paraphernalia like scissors, a trug and even a vase. Leave that at home, ya'll because Anne-Marie provides all of that. One stipulation is if you have a long drive ahead of you, it might be a good idea to bring a vase. A tall paper cup is what you are provided and gets a little soggy as time passes. My kids are 5 and 3 and they both had so much fun picking flowers. We picked zinnias, sunflowers, strawflowers, daisies and cosmos. We purchased 2 bouquets and with that amount made 4 bouquets at home. It's amazing how many flowers fit in a tall paper cup. I'm not sure if dahlias are ever available but that is one flower I would love to be able to pick a bouquet of. Totally thinking of having my kids' bday party here next summer. Really such a great experience to get kids closer to nature.

There are tables and chairs but feel free to bring your own. So peaceful. Great girls night out event.

This farm is family owned and you can tell that they put so much love into this business. It's a beautiful thing to see. Lois and Don explained to us how picking at their farm works and what sort of flowers and greenery we should pick. You have the option between at $35 bucket (the largest picking bucket) a $25 bucket and they have $5 buckets for kids. We went with the $35 bucket and it was huge. They taught us how long the stems need to be and to use the garden shears to cut the stems at an angle. Then they let us roam free to pick! We were there bright and early at 9AM and we were the only customers so we had the farm to ourselves. We spent the next hour and a half picking flowers and greenery. It was so peaceful and beautiful on their farm. When we were finished we went back up to the counter. Lois taught us about some of the different flowers we picked and answered any questions we had. We paid, and then we were on our way! When we got home we arranged our bouquets. We were able to get 4 bouquets out of all of our flowers which was awesome! Be sure to bring your own bucket for transporting the flowers! They provide the picking buckets, but you definitely need one for transport. We had SO much fun at the flower farm. I can't wait to return later in the summer. I HIGHLY recommend checking out this amazing family owned business, it's something special!
