The Farm

Family friendly! So thankful I have a go to spot for produce! They have animals - chicks, chickens, horses (horseback riding!), goats, etc. Highly recommend.

We decided to try something different and this was the perfect place to visit…read more Farm to table is a great restaurant concept. The creamery / dairy is such a cool addition to the whole experience. They make their own ice cream and various cheeses. They offered them on a cheese charcuterie board for an appetizer. The place sits on a large and very pretty plot of property. The cows are adorable and they have my favorite cows - the cute and sweet brown Swiss and Jersey breeds. The restaurant is vast and the atmosphere is comfy and rustic. The food was great and everyone seemed to enjoy it. It was all well prepared. We tried the fish, burger, mac and cheese and scallops pasta dish. I had a filet steak and it was wonderful. The staff were very knowledgeable and so helpful and friendly. They have a gift shop and sell many cool handmade items like lotions, soaps and food. If I am ever back in this area, I will absolutely come back.

According to the salesperson at the store this is the first USDA-certified organic dairy farm in Indiana. They have different areas you can visit, The Loft which is the restaurant, the dairy bar which is a small place to get your desserts and the farm store, all the places is a little bit crowded, a cozy place. We only got desserts as we had other dinner plans we got some milkshake, scoop of ice cream, soda float, and a small cup of their organic chocolate milk All were delicious and very very tasty Outside you can meet some of their animals, they have a big old red barn that houses baby calves and there's some chickens and if you go in further to the property you can see the big cows

We didn't know what to expect but knew there would be flowers to pick. We brought all of our own paraphernalia like scissors, a trug and even a vase. Leave that at home, ya'll because Anne-Marie provides all of that. One stipulation is if you have a long drive ahead of you, it might be a good idea to bring a vase. A tall paper cup is what you are provided and gets a little soggy as time passes. My kids are 5 and 3 and they both had so much fun picking flowers. We picked zinnias, sunflowers, strawflowers, daisies and cosmos. We purchased 2 bouquets and with that amount made 4 bouquets at home. It's amazing how many flowers fit in a tall paper cup. I'm not sure if dahlias are ever available but that is one flower I would love to be able to pick a bouquet of. Totally thinking of having my kids' bday party here next summer. Really such a great experience to get kids closer to nature.

There are tables and chairs but feel free to bring your own. So peaceful. Great girls night out event.

There were two individuals helping to direct parking which helped tremendously. The beautiful Zyntango Farm Barn is an authentic 1800's barn with modern amenities. It's an event venue for weddings, receptions, graduations, bridal showers, family reunions, corporate retreats and special events. It's located about 5 minutes from Whitestown on the NW side of Indy in the countryside. Just 3 miles off of I-65, one exit north of the Zionsville exit and less than 30 minutes from downtown Indy. The barn is two stories with a flight of stairs. I'm not sure of the barn capacity but I would think this is best for a small to medium size event. The free Holiday Market had approximately 18 - 20 vendors in attendance. Cork and Wine Barrel was there along with a jewelry artist, a tattoo artist and Fantasy face painter, chocolate and cookie makers, a candle maker, a variety of signs, a small boutique, a lap blanket quilter and an artist displaying her oil paintings. One of the vendors, Keepsakes By Design, does personalized itching in glass cookware which is perfect for our bakers in the family. A couple of small food and beverage vendors were onsite with BBQ sandwiches, hot chocolate and soda. I found several vendors that is perfect for hostess gifts and family Christmas presents. So glad we took the time to visit today.

You are able to rent the space for any occasion which I found awesome and many of the working relationships they have established to provide services are amazing. A sunset gathering here would be amaze balls. Just beautiful. If given the opportunity to check out the newly finished improvements made by all means do.

I attended the Sunflower Festival this weekend with my husband, sister and niece. There's really something for everyone. They have a gift shop as well as a neat and novelty grocery dept. There was a kids entrepreneurial endeavor as well where we bought some trinkets and sunflower pillowcases made by the kids who were selling them directly. Great concept! Whether you'd like to snack on delicious, fresh cider donuts while sipping on apple cider slush or have a smash burger & watch your wood fired pizza being made for lunch, the food and drinks are guaranteed to keep you in good spirits. The festival admission includes two fresh cuttings of any sunflowers of your choosing as well as three zinnia cuts. They hand you a pair of clippers and you then get to venture out into the "Fields of Gold"-- to quote Sting. It's overwhelmingly beautiful. The admission also includes tractor & train rides around the farm, access to the big slides (child sizes too) playgrounds and the opportunity to go apple picking for an additional fee. Prices are all pretty reasonable for an event like this one and parking is free. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They have activities for kids to keep them busy and entertained. 10/10 will be returning again next year.

I give her props for teaching three 21-year-olds how to ride as beginners. We were in the indoor ring, but Sierra Woods has 2 outdoor rings as well. The farm itself is large with multiple outdoor pastures for the horses. The price of a beginner group lesson was $45 - pretty affordable compared to other barns in the area.
