Today was my first time at the farm, and I will for sure be going back! Olivia and the team were so friendly. They adore their animals. We got to visit all of the animals for only a $10 donation each which was incredible. Our favorite part was feeding the pigs smashed watermelon.

Oinking Acres is heaven on earth for these animals. So thankful for everyone taking care of them. You can tell that these animals are well taken care of and well loved. We loved our visit and will definitely be back.

What an awesome way to raise awareness for pigs and other barnyard friends! I've been to events sponsored by Oinking Acres but this was my first time to their farm. It's important to note that you can only go during tour days / hours so if you have a flexible schedule it's not a problem. Also, you can bring fruits & veggies to feed the piggies! Carrots, apples, lettuce (NOT potatoes! A woman from my tour was giving the pigs potatoes & the owner had to go fish it out of the pigs pens as these are bad for them). You can bring your own or buy some there for a few dollars. When we went they had over 70 pigs, so don't give all your food to the first piggies! The tour guide is not super loud so if you're interested in hearing info, stay close to her! There are other barnyard animals that they have rescued to their property too! It's very impressive how the owner remembers all the animals names & stories. Many of the animals allow petting, just listen for who is friendly & who is shy. Great for all ages!

Oinking Acres Farm + Sanctuary is an incredible non-profit organization working to give homes to all farm animals without homes, but specifically for potbelly pigs! On all social media accounts, they prioritize educating their followers on care and general knowledge of potbelly pigs. It was started by Olivia ~3 years ago, and she is now only 18. She's an inspiration and puts her heart and soul into her work! The farm has tours several times a week -- you get to visit and pet the pigs, goats, and other friends. If you have produce with you, you can even give a snack! The pigs are clearly well-cared for. When you arrive for your tour, make sure to drive past the cabin along the driveway and instead park near the barn up ahead.

Well I ran across Oinking Acres from other Yelp reviews. I knew my daughter would love seeing the animals. I of course had no idea what to spect. I didn't realize until I got there that not only are they a farm to tour to see animals but they are a care shelter for the animals that use to be pets. They had received over a year I believe 100 pot belly pigs that were former pets. Note the pigs tend to get to around 200+ pounds. The pigs are very cute and the cost for the tour is money well spent as it is used to pay for the cost of caring for the pigs. They do have many of the pigs available for adoption. They also have goats, cows, peacocks, sheep, and a donkey. You can bring food to feed the animals and your kids will have fun too. The farm is just a short drive north of Brownsburg and easily located. The tour guide is the owner of the farm and manages the animals. The place is very clean for a barn full of animals. I highly recommend the tour to anyone and you will have a good time.

They responded to all of my emails with the questions I had very quickly. The cabin sits off the side of their house w/ a porch looking out towards the farm. The inside of the cabin has two open bed rooms that are adjoining w/sliding doors that open up to a closet area between the two. While the cabin doesn't have central a/c there is a machine that works as an a/c, a heater, and a dehumidifier. We visited during the summer and this kept the cabin cool. The main room has a couch/trundle bed so you can sleep an extra 2 guests, as well as a dining table (plates, cups, utensils and some cookware available to use). I suggest bringing what you need as far as cooking utensils go, however Jennifer helped us get whatever we needed that we didn't bring. There is a sink, a microwave and a full size fridge, and while there isn't an oven/stove there is a griddle in the cabin that worked very well for us and a grill outside available to use. There were towels and rags for us in the bathroom which was nice since that's just one less thing we had to tote along with us. There is a great one person, jacuzzi tub that I called dibs on as soon as I got there. Very relaxing. Outside there is also a fire pit with bench seating, great for s'mores or telling scary ghost stories. Do yourself a favor and opt in for the hands on farm experience! Gather eggs, milk a goat and/or sheep, help feed the animals and get to meet them one on one, Alpacas, pigs, miniature horses, donkeys, chickens, ducks, goats, sheep! Not only is is fun but interesting. You'll learn all kinds of info about each and running a farm. We also got farm fresh duck and chicken eggs that we made for breakfast in the morning, YUMMY! We're hoping to come back for their fall festival if we're still in the area. Thanks again for hosting us, we are so appreciative of everything you guys did to make sure we had a wonderful experience.

This is a nice retreat from city life to rural country in Indiana. (We were passing through from Chicago.) The cottage is cute and comfortable and you can wake up sipping coffee and making yourself some fresh eggs from the farm. The best thing however are all the sweet animals. After the brief tour, you can walk around the property and say hello to the pig, cats, goats, lambs, chickens, donkeys, mules, alpacas, and more. This was a unique and wonderful experience. It was so peaceful watching the sunset while admiring the amazing country fields around you. We can't wait to return. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

So this year, we finally got to enjoy it again, as a family. But this year, grandbabies joined us! At $5 a head, we had an enjoyable afternoon together. We didn't check out the corn maze, nor do pony rides. But we did enjoy some prime family photo time in the pumpkin patch, while picking out a few small pumpkins for the grand daughters. Compared to the cost of pumpkins in the store, they are a little higher. But you do get the experience of picking your own and supporting a local small business. Our granddaughter that's mobile enjoyed every bit of the sensory buffet available. From the play equipment, to dancing to the live music, and petting and interacting with the farm animals. She had a great time sliding down the huge pile of hay, over and over, by the pumpkin patch. We found the concessions to be a bit of a bummer. They didn't offer a lot of the great fall treats like they use to. And you can only use a card if you're spending at least $5. So when we all started to get thirsty and have the nibbles, we left and moved to our next destination.

The farm is perfect for all ages and there were so many fun activities to do for kids and adults. The first thing my friends and I did was get food at the food station. I got a "spooky milkshake", which was delicious (not pictured). They had a choice between vanilla and chocolate soft serve ice cream and it was topped with whipped cream, a donut hole, and a brownie bite. It was very sweet and delicious. It seemed like a lot of people were buying those milkshakes. Then we moved on to the animal barn which was a ton of fun. They had a cow, pigs, chickens, ducks, a bunny, goats, lambs, and even a donkey! You weren't allowed to feed the animals, but you were allowed to pet them and they had a huge bottle of hand sanitizer for people to wash their hands after petting the animals. The animals were gentle and friendly, so parents delt parents felt safe for their kids to pet the animals. Next, we went through a corn maze, and they had a "big" corn maze and "small" corn maze. For the big corn maze, the farm does a different intricate design every year. This year, I believe it was a tractor. They even have signs and QR codes to scan so you could track how far along the maze you are as well as track how long you've been in the corn maze. Then we went on the tractor ride. While this was relaxing, it was very slow and there weren't a ton of beautiful farm views. At one point, we were riding along next to a highway, so that took away from the farm experience a little bit. I also thought they were going to do a bunch of stops at vegetable or pumpkin gardens if even flower patches, but they did not, which I was surprised about considering each hay ride was about 30 minutes long. I would recommend the hay ride to people who want a break from exploring the farm and want to give their feet a rest. After the hay ride, my friends and I decide to check out the gift shop, and they had a lot of stuffed animals, branded shirts and sweatshirts, cookie cutters, and candles that smelled heavenly. Next to the gift shop, they had more activities for people to do. One of the farm's main selling points is their story about Spookley the Square pumpkin. In this space they also set up a backdrop for people to take pictures and a "design your own pumpkin" station where they provide different shapes for eyes, noses, and mouths and you can pick and choose to color in each shape. Near the corn maze, there were a bunch of activities including a giant bounce pad, signs which different games to play (such as "find the corn [popcorn, cornpipe, corn dog, etc]", mazes, and "find the difference"), basketball, a small train for children to ride, human foosball, and a hay tower for people to climb. This pumpkin farm is great for families and friends to attend to have the perfect fall day. They also have a similar experience during the wintertime if you check out their website.
