She answered my million questions, didn't judge me for already having too many houseplants (her words, not mine), and hyped me up about that Ficus like I had just adopted a rare exotic pet. In the lobby, there is complementary sparkling waters, which I thought was really great as I took my time shifting through the different books. The selection was pretty good. There were a lot of books that were "hot" right now on social media, as well as ones that were hidden gems that you may not have heard of. The price was equal to what you'd pay at a big book store chairs (so why not support local!). They also have a selection of used books that are greatly discounted. The person that was working when I went in, was very kind and gave us some recommendations, and also talk to us about our day. Where's the negative star option?…read more Wow - quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Called to get a quote on Gerber daisies - a woman answered the phone, "Hi, I'm wondering if you carry Gerber daisies?" to which she responds rudely, "I'm sure we do, but you'd have to talk to someone in sales." Wouldn't you just say, "Sure, let me get you to the right department?" Anyway... So I'm transferred and a second woman says, "Hello?" hello? I repeat my question exactly and she says, "Yes." Yes, that's it - nothing else. *crickets* So I finally ask what the per stem cost is and she says, "Who is this?" Exsqueeze me? I baking powder? I asked her if this is how they talk to their customers and she said, "Yes it is." Their mission statement, BTW, is "Amato Wholesale Flower is committed to improving our customer's experience." Yup. And I'm the freaking Queen of England.
