Super dehydrated and hungry we were hoping they had something for us to drink. Not only did they have drinks, but they had vegan cookies! Being allergic to dairy, I jumped with excitement! It's very difficult to enjoy anything being allergic to everything, so when I do find something to eat, it's either really exciting or a huge let down. This place was definitely the former! The owners were very informative and friendly. I believe it's a husband and wife who run the truck, and the wife is also allergic to dairy! We had the Mixed Berry Date cookies(amazing). My fiancé, who isn't allergic to a single thing and thinks all dairy free foods are gross... ate 3! Leaving me with 1. I was going to kill him afterwards , but that just goes to show how good they were! I bet the vegan brownie was great too, I couldn't have the bananas inside of them. We also came a couple minutes before they were closing up shop, but they still let us purchase our snacks. Next went in the neighboring room for a couple hard cider flights, bag of donuts in hand. We sampled every cider on the menu. Each of them were crisp, clean, tasty, and hit the spot! I think my favorite was the ginger, and his was the pear. We sat inside because it was rainy, but there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy tastings. I definitely want to come back with a cooler so I am able to leave with a stash of goodies, and to check out the rest of the grounds- and for more donuts!! This is the only orchard I know of that sells hard cider with a little lounge area. Even though I don't drink, this is a great hang out/ get together spot for sure, especially if you're into the rustic, farm vibe. MacQueen's is a local business that has been around for years and not only do they offer pick your own apples and pumpkins, they have a nice produce selection, jam & jelly room, bakery (nothing better than warm donuts this time of year), cider mill where you can watch the bottling process, and a room full of Christmas decor. Staff is friendly and helpful even when they have a ton of people meandering about. Prices are fair for the quality of product and as I mentioned previously, their warm donuts are a hit! picker beware!…read more Yesterday I was picking apples and fell into an extremely large hole. So large that only my chest and head were sticking out. As a result today I cannot walk. Today I called to speak with somebody spoke with Lynn McQueen. I shared my story and she pretty much brushed me off. Basically saying that it was a large property and they had a hard time taking care of it. She didn't ask how I was feeling nor that she was sorry that I was hurt. There was no human comfort or care. Extremely disappointed. And I am in pain Pick at your own risk. They don't care if you get hurt. They are more worried about how big they are and that they can't take care of their entire property
